Apartment in Perranporth, Cornwall, England - Just A Short Walk To The Beach, Shops And Restaurants

The Eaves is a beautiful, recently decorated converted apartment, situated on the top floor of one of Perranporth's finest period properties. The property boasts excellent views of the coastline, dunes and village. The house was originally built in 1898 for one of the daughters of the wealthy miner captain Roberts. The apartment is self-contained, and has everything you need for a relaxing beach holiday.

This very pleasant and stylish accommodation has two large bedrooms. The first has a double bed, vanity unit and wash basin. The second bedroom is a twin bedroom with plenty of storage space. The apartment also has a beautiful living and dining area with sofa bed and a galley kitchen. There are two bathrooms. One is a shower room with WC and sink, and the second one is a bathroom with bath, wash basin and WC.

Perranporth is situated perfectly, with easy access to road links and the many attractions that Cornwall has to offer.

The village itself has all amenities you need including banks, hair and beauty salons, post office, GP surgery, dentist, chemist, pet shop/grooming, vets, mechanic, petrol station, two small supermarkets and plenty of takeaways, public houses and restaurants.

Perranporth has something to offer everybody. On the beach there is surfing lessons and competitions, kite surfing, kayaking, beach activities, including volleyball and trampolines, and a natural rock swimming pool.

In the village there is also a bowling green, football and rugby pitch, duck pond, boating lake, gardens, children’s playground and plenty of open spaces and waterways around the village.

Perranporth also has its own airfield offering skydiving, gliding and flying lessons. Other things to do include exploring the lost church at Perran Sands and visiting the weekly indoor market. Perranporth’s carnival is held each year in July.

Have stayed in this self catering accommodation a number of times in different apartments. You are able to enjoy beautiful views across town and down to beach. Always have been very satisfied and wanting to return. Friendly owner who is always happy to help. Peaceful beautiful location, a few mins walk from stunning Perranporth beach. Less than ten mins walk to shops for all you need. Lovely seaside town. Not tacky at all. A number of restaurants in village including a wonderful Indian restaurant. Accommodation highly recommended.

Fantastic apartment!

  • 5 of 5

We booked this apartment for a family holiday for myself, my husband and our 2 year old daughter. We love Cornwall and have friends living nearby so wanted a base for lots of trips out but a space where we could relax at the end of a long day.

We enquiries via owners direct and booked directly with Jackie, the owner. Jackie was warm and friendly from my first contact with her and very helpful throughout the booking process.

We arrived on a Saturday at around 3:30pm.

Our first impression was 'wow!'. The apartment has a beautiful exterior and the entrance hall is stunning with high ceilings. There are two bedrooms, a double at the front and a twin room upstairs. Both are en suite. The lounge is huge and has a lovely wood burner (logs and paper were provided). The kitchen was also big with a large table and everything you could need to cater for a family (minus food obviously!). The apartment is very well appointed and well maintained.

There were lots of little touches too, a bottle of wine, toffees and shortbread, flowers, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee/sugar. Towels were provided along with extra bedlinen if needed. We met Jackie briefly on our arrival and she warmly welcomed us and showed us around which was great. We knew where she was if we needed anything.

We really, really enjoyed our stay and we honestly didn't want to come home! Cornwall is amazing. Must-do's are: Eden Project (pricey but worth every penny), walk along the coastal path at St Agnes, Padstow (and Rick Steins fish and chip shop!). We went to Dairyland Farm World too but it was very disappointing and not worth the entry fee. We are out at the Green Parrot (Wetherspoons) in Perranporth which was really good and cheap as you'd expect. Otherwise we tended to eat in as our daughter is quite young. In the evenings we lit the wood burner, opened a bottle of wine and played board games/watched TV...bliss!

The only teeny negative points I could give were: the boiler (I think that's what it was!) in the kitchen was quite strong smelling (sort of petrol smell) and the WIFI signal was patchy. Otherwise - best holiday we've had in years! Don't hesitate to book!
