2 Bedroom Apartment With 2 Shared Pools And Sea View in Town.

10 minutes walk to the beach and marina

5 minutes to old town centre. Cafés, restaurants, shops, banks,Thursday open Market close by. Walking distance to beach. Hire car is not necessary. Choice of 2 swimming pools. Outdoor table and chairs with cushions for veranda. Sun lounges and a large umbrella provided. Upper level pool we have 2 white plastic sun lounges with blue cushions and dark blue umbrella, lower level pool we have 2 white plastic sun lounges with two green cushions all marked Ozge Apart B1. Sun lounges can be shifted from upper level to lower level pool. However, the umbrella should stay in the upper level pool. Wifi is available by a portable modem upon request. Please contact my Property Manager Mr.Osman Koru on his mobile 05324277060 to let him know that you have arrived and would like to pick up the modem. His office in old town Abi Tour.


(a) Take the Turkcell data card located on the TV stand

(b) Collect the portable modem from Osman and pay 50GBP deposit for the modem collect the receipt and take both the data card and the modem to the Turkcell shop. The shop is on the main street 2 minutes away from the apartment next door to "Lime Bar and Restaurant "

(c) Choose the amount of GBite you require (up to 10 GBite). Pay the fee. (81TL for 10 GBite)

(d) For connection, just plug it in to the power point. Type your password which is written and kept in a info folder on TV stand and you are connected.

If you run out of data (GBite) take your data card to Turkcell shop and load it again and pay the fee.

10GBite is usually lasts awhile unless a lot of video -movie downloads.

(e) When you leave please return the portable modem to Osman sign and collect your 50GBP deposit.

Airport transfer can be arranged. The driver will take guests to the apartment and will give the combination number for the key to the apartment.

For guests who would like to hire a car to make their own way to the apartment ,please contact the owner for the details of collecting the keys after booking is confirmed.

Beautifully appointed apartment

My daughter and I have recently returned from the most wonderful holiday, staying at this apartment in Kalkan. It is beautifully appointed and offered much more than we expected. The apartment is exactly as the previous review described and the cleanliness on arrival was second to none. The attention to detail is excellent.

The owner, Gunal, could not have been more helpful in ensuring that our arrangements for being met at the airport were followed through perfectly and his agent was very helpful when we went to confirm our return transfer. The journey from Dalaman airport to Kalkan takes about 1 1/2 hours but by going with a private transfer you avoid the drop-offs along the way.

One of the best things is its proximity to the "hub" of Kalkan, particularly if you want to explore or eat out. We had intended to do some self-catering but the food and ambience on offer meant that we ate out the whole time and loved every minute of it! There is so much to see and do around this beautiful town and we simply did not have enough time to enjoy or do it all. We are definitely going back!

There was only one very minor "niggle" and that was that on the days that we did not go to the pool the apartments sunbeds seemed to be used by someone else - not a problem for us but perhaps in a busy season it could have been.

There are 4 of them and a blue umbrella belong to my apartment and they are all marked B1. They should only used by B1 residents. You had every right to use them . . I will talk to Osman about it. Autumn sunshine in Kalkan

My wife and I stayed here for one week. We liked the apartment because it was ideally situated-near the shops, harbour etc but on a quiet street. Yes, we could here the calls to prayer from the nearby mosque but that was part of the charm.

The apartment is just as you would expect. Spotless, comfortable etc. What you might not expect is the wrap-round terrace with its comfortable furniture and views over one of the swimming pools and the town. To be honest the sea view is a bit limited but it is there!

If you are a little worried about getting to the apartment from Dalaman Airport don't worry. We did not hire a car-you don't really need one and the owner of the apartment arranged transport for us. Food shops and a good, reasonably priced, restaurant (The Turkish Kitchen) were less than 5 minutes walk away. Within 10 minutes walk we had a huge choice of restaurants and within 15 minutes the harbour and the charming old town.

In the complex we had the choice of 2 pools-both were well maintained and hardly used when we were there. All in all we felt this was a homely, secure place to stay and we would certainly recommend it

Spacious apartment, convenient location

We were really pleased with the apartment - loads of space and really well equipped. The 2 swimming pools were great too and because we had hired a car we were pleased to have the garage.

The location was great. We were a short walk from the greengrocer, patisserie and super market as well as restaurants. It was an easy walk down into the old town and to the beach, although it was a bit of a slog back up the hill afterwards.

Originally we'd wanted to stay in Kas but we were pleased we ended up in Kalkan as we were much nearer to places like Xanthos and Patara beach. I think Kalkan was probably cheaper for going out in too.

The only slight difficulty we had was paying for our stay - this is probably because we'd booked late but if you're thinking of staying then it would be worth checking with the owners. They had asked us to pay them directly via the bank in Kalkan but as we're not Turkish we didn't have the necessary personal details. After a long day's travel from Istanbul this was more hassle than we needed and the worry about payment hung over us for the first 24hrs of our stay.

But overall we had a great stay in a lovely apartement and we'd very much recommend it.

Lovely apartment, excellent location

This 2 bed apartment is in an ideal location in Kalkan. There is a large supermarket 2 minutes away and a caf?/lounge bar serving excellent breakfasts, lunches and evening meals if you don't want to cook. It is a short walk to the Thursday market and there are many other restaurants nearby as well as an air conditioned patisserie! The main town is a short walk but do not discount the restaurants before you get to the main town. They may not all have roof terraces and excellent views but they are far better value and we ate in some where the quality of the meals were faultless.

The apartment is a good size and was well furnished. It was very clean. The double room is more spacious but doesn't have an ensuite. The twin bedroom is smaller but has a spacious ensuite and very large shower. The air conditioning was effective and hot water plentiful. Even though there are 2 pools shared among 6 apartments, we never shared the lower pool with anyone. In fact it felt as if it were our own private pool! The lower pool is most easily accessed by this apartment and you can see it from the wrap around balcony so we were able to watch our children whilst enjoying a drink on the balcony! The lower pool loses the sun in the afternoon but this is not a bad thing in the height of summer. It has a very large patio area to spread out on. The other pool is accessed from the front of the apartment, it has a smaller patio but keeps the sun longer in the day.

This apartment is effectively on the ground floor but due to Kalkan being on a hill there are steps up to it and the pools and apartment are not on a single level. The apartment is in a quiet area. We did hear music some evenings but it always stopped early, you are well away from the noise of the clubs that go on until 4am! The windows and hum of the air conditioning are effective at cutting out any noise, especially of the early prayer calls from the nearby mosque.

We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to others.

You don't need your own transport, if you do want to go somewhere and don't want to walk to the taxi rank or dolmus stop, there are always taxis waiting outside the supermarket.

We live in Australia.On one of our visits to Turkey we discovered Kalkan and fell in love with the place. It has a great location between the mountains and the sea. The locals are very helpful,and hospitable. The food is very tasty and healthy. There is a lot to see in the area. Such as beautiful beaches, historical sights and natural beauty. The climate is great . Sunny summers and mild winters. The old town with its narrow winding streets leading down to the harbour has great charm. We decided to buy a property in Kalkan. We are very happy with this place .We have travelled to Kalkan twice in 2012 all the way from Australia .

Dalaman International Airport is 1,45 hour drive by car. Guests can also use public transport available at the airport. (this takes longer 2,5 hours approximately) Airport transfers can be arranged . In peak season mini buses from Kalkan to the airport are available from tourism operators.


The beautiful sandy Patara beach and national park is 20 minutes by mini bus. There are some water sports in Kalkan and patara beach ,ie; jet skiing, canoing in Patara .Kas is 30 minutes. Fethiye and Oludeniz also interesting places to see and day trip available by bus. There are many interesting and archaeological sites near Kalkan. Oto-Gar(bus station) is walking distance (a bit hilly) from the apartment. Taxi rank and mini-buses from the main street.

Further Details:

Day and night boat cruises are available from the marina. There are variety of restaurants, cafés, night clubs, pubs, pastry shops, gift shops close by and banks and supermarkets are just around the corner. There is a fitness centre, Turkish bath, massage a minute walk distance from the apartment. Well Equipped Fitness centre -Gym -Pilates walking distance.

The Bakery shop walking distance ,around the corner near the supermarket and few pastry shops recently opened up the road from Akbank.

We enjoy the great view. The sea and mountains can be seen in the lounge area . Enjoy having breakfast whilst watching the crystal clear pool, mountains and the view of the bay. The property is in town,very close to cafes ,restaurants and shops. I love getting up in the morning and walking around to the patisserie shop to buy freshly baked simit (sesame round turkish bagel). The property gives a sense of space because it has an olive grove across the road at the front and also to the side. The garden area at the front of the apartments is also a lot larger than usual.
