I will be visiting next March and as normal practice spend time ensuring its as clean and comfortable as I would expect if renting a place in the sun. This isn't always the case as I found to my cost during my last visit when I had overbooked my apartment and had to rent another apartment. I had to contact the owner to install things I would have expected to find automatically on arrival.

About the Owner
I am now retired and enjoy active holidays.This was the main reason for buying our property in Fuertaventura which we purchased in 2003. It has given us many happy weeks over the years. The Island has a very dry consistent climate so visitors can expect very predictable weather any time during the calendar year. We have spent time out in Corralejo covering every month of the year and never been disappointed. Plenty of sunshine and very little rain. Average temperatures range from low to mid 20's in the winter to high 20's to mid 30's in the summer.

Appartment in beautiful location with views to swimming pool, sea, Lanzarote in one direction, and the hills in another. The appartment was very clean and came with plenty of cooking facilities, tv., books to read etc., even spare suntan lotion!
The best part for us, was the large terrace, which gave plenty of privacy to sunbathe, eat, bbq etc. Outdoor living is fantastic. A huge supermarket close by, made eating in a delight.
The owner was quick to respond to any queries, and his instructions from airport to appartment worked well. Further instructions re water, electricity etc., within the appartment were easy to follow.

“Fuertaventura is less commercialised than the other main islands and therefore has a certain carefree outlook to life which we liked. It is a rugged country which gives a feeling of remoteness when in the countryside. Yet the main towns including Corralejo do cater for the tourist offering all the facilities one would need for an enjoyable holiday. The beaches around Corralejo have been formed by sands from the Sahara Desert and extend for some 18 kilometres. The Dunes are wonderful and offer sledging as well as a base for beach sports activities. Many visitors come for the dry climate which relieves many aches and pains!”
Activity and Interests
The popular Waikiki Beach offering safe sandy shoreline is a 20 minute walk away and Corralejo Town Centre a further 5 minutes offering modern shopping malls, cafes bars and top quality restaurants.
The whole area is efficiently serviced by very cheap taxi services with many convenient taxi ranks.
Fuertaventura airport is a 35 minute drive half of which is between golden dunes and sandy beaches. A most enjoyable drive.
There are regular bus, coach and taxi services. We also provide a reasonable priced pick up service to and from the Airport.
