Chalet les Drus is a spacious 4 double bedroom chalet in a tranquil location in the village of Les Houches in the Chamonix Valley. Chalet les Drus guests will be able to enjoy the luxury of settling down after an exhilarating day on the mountains in front of the wood burning stove or easing their muscles in the hot tub whilst taking in the breathtaking views of Mont-Blanc and the surrounding peaks. The large garden offers plenty of space to relax in the summer or winter months with a private drive, parking and garage. Built over basement, ground and two upper floors the chalet provides 4 en-suite bedrooms, all of which can be either twin or double rooms. There is high speed wifi, an open plan living/dining room with satellite DVD and BOSE Sound Dock System, a fully equipped kitchen, a large screen cinema room with Blu Ray/HD DVD player and Playstation with a selection of games, a games room with a table tennis table and a relaxation loft room with TV and DVD player.

What makes this chalet unique

Chalet les Drus is the perfect blend of being close enough to all the outdoor and Chamonix town action, whilst being a tranquil oasis to return to after a days activities or simply to be lazy and leisurely in the garden or soaking in the hot tub.

The fact that you can have breakfast in France, lunch in Italy (Courmayeur) and dinner in Switzerland followed by coffee in your home country all in one day, is still something that we find amazing!

Great chalet , good communication leading up to the holiday , would go back again

Chalet is a great size , it has first class facilities for entertainment and to relax . The table tennis was a hit and it has a sauna and jacuzzi which were both used . The views from the garden are spectacular and it is a great base for skiing in the Chamonix area , I would go back .

Excellent chalet close to centre of Les Houches

Excellent well appointed chalet that is around 5 mins walk from the top end of Les Houches town. Great open plan living area with log burner and logs. Four bedrooms are all en-suite and all could be configured as either doubles or twins. Superb views from the dining area and from hot tub of the mountains.

Huge basement TV for watching films, table tennis plus fast wifi everywhere was very popular with teenager members of the party.

Overall the chalet is top notch, has all the kit you need and would highly recommend. Only downside was distinctly dodgy snow in the Chamonix valley, but not much the chalet can do about that. Worth considering that its only around a 40 minute drive to Courmayer through the MB tunnel if you leave in good time in the morning.

Amazing location, luxurious accommodation

Very easy booking, owner very helpful. We were speechless with stunning location with views of the alps from the private sunny garden. 10 minute walk to shops and Les Houches. Plentiful walks and facilities nearby, hardly used our car. Charmonix beautiful, short car drive away. Cable cars, walking and cycling galore on your doorstep. Accommodation cosy but very luxurious. 4 double bedrooms with en suites (can be twins if requested). Games room and then the cinema room in basement with large tv and games console, lovely and cool, and excellent wi-fi, ideal for teenagers! All luxuries provided in the very well equipped kitchen. Bbq in garden got lots of use, as did the hot tub. As a family of 4 with two teenagers, everyone was well catered for. Can't write enough good things, we have booked again for next year. Thank you Mike.

Perfect chalet to explore the area

Cannot praise the accommodation enough.

The chalet is beautiful, accurate to description, extremely well appointed and clean, neat and tidy on arrival.

The on site help was quick and efficient (slight issue with garden that was sorted within the hour of notification) and very friendly.

The location is perfect to pop into Chamonix (5 minute drive) or walk into Les Houches (less than 10 min walk). Close by supermarket and restaurants were also good.

Would absolutely stay again :)

Chalet les Drus is situated just to the east of the centre of Les Houches, 10 minutes walk (800 metres) from the town square.

Chamonix Town Centre and Aguile de Midi cable car are both 7km away.

The world famous Grands Montets ski area is a 20 minute drive away in the village of Argentiere.

Further Details:

The nearest supermarket is Carrefour Market in the centre of Les Houches, with the main Super U supermarket just a little bit further away (850 metres) towards Chamonix. The nearest bar and restaurant of note is le Delice, 550 metres away, with several other choices in Les Houches itself.
