A Luxury 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom villa, in the perfect location of Praia Da Luz, offering an immediate sense of calm and tranquility, with magnificent sea and headland views (from upper floor). The villa is walking distance of the beach, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. You will be able to enjoy your own private pool (heating optional) with large garden and outdoor furniture.

A unique feature of this property is that you will notice it is a home not just a rented accommodation, it feels just right. The outside Kitchen (BBQ, cooking & dinning area) with superb sea views, Both upper bedrooms have private terraces with sea views, garden with soft grass makes it so perfect you won't want to leave. On the rare occasion when the evening air is cooler you have the cosy lounge with a large log fire place. This is a place you will want to come back to again and again. As the owner i regularly relax here with friends and am delighted to share this little paradise with you and your family and friends.

Lovely Villa for a relaxing holiday.

A lovely villa in a picturesque location.

This a perfect villa if you want a nice relaxing holiday with great sea views. We were met by Mandy the pleasant owner who showed us around the property and gave us all the information we needed. She was on hand straight away when we had a couple of technical difficulties. There is great space for 6 people.

The pool area is great and there is plenty of space.The pool is cleaned once a week and there are loads of beach towels availble which was really useful.

The lovely town of Luz and the fab beach are just a short walk away and there are loads of good restaurants although I would recommend booking at busy periods.

All in all a good choice if you dont want to be in the centre of it all.

Great family villa!

As a family of 6, we spent 6 nights at this villa and loved every minute. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need and had plenty of space for us all to live and move around.

The garden gets the sun all day long, the pool is a fabulous size and the BBQ, outside dining area is absolutely perfect.

The villa is about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Luz, which can be reached via a beautiful coastal path.

Mandy was easily contacted if/when we needed her and we would highly recommend her villa as an ideal holiday home.

Fantastic Villa

This property is wonderful. We had a lovely time at this villa. It was clean and well maintained. It is in an ideal quiet location with stunning sea views. Mandy the owner provided excellent customer service. We would highly recommend this property to our friends and family. Also we would book again ourselves. This villa is only a short gentle walk to all the restaurants, bars and shops. There is no need to hire a car(if you don't want to)as there are two good supermarkets in Luz.

fantastic villa...highly recommeded!!!

This was our second stay in Luz, a different villa from our first visit, but was by the far the best!

Spacious, well-furnished and an easy 10min stroll into town, a perfect location by anyone’s standard

This villa is designed for the perfect holiday….relaxing!

Large dining area with a fantastic barbeque area, internet for those who need to (was a particularly fab hit with my two teenage daughters), pool area which catches the sun all day, expansive kitchen area and bathrooms for the three bedrooms and Mandy the host contactable any time to help with any queries, this is the perfect holiday villa for the family

Luz itself is perfect for dining out, with plenty of restaurants and some very friendly locals, who go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible

Could not fault the premises or its location in any way shape or form, and when we decide to go back (not a matter of if) we will definitely be hoping to contact Mandy again to book another stay

Stunning Place to stay

Been coming to Luz for 5 years and I have stayed in some fantastic Villas. This tops the lot. Feels homely and yet also like you feel like you are on holiday. Normally we day trip frequently and eat out most evenings. Not here. Great weather and location meant we did what holidays are meant for - relaxing by the pool and taking it easy. Sun from Sun up to Sun down, with amazing sea views to wake up to. Fab barbecue, which cooks fantastically. It's a 10/10 place. Mandy is a great host, easy to contact at all times.

The ultimate question will I be back? Definitely. No need to be in 2 minds, just book.

It's a very leisurely 10 minute walk to the promenade, easy going and if you take the road, it's a minimal 20 second gentle incline to a gorgeous sea front walk. If you fancy a cheeky beer or cocktail, Hotel Villa Luz is 1 minute a away, and prices are cheap. Car hire is not needed as everything you need is in Luz.

I enjoyed my week in a Villa which is gorgeous.

Coast/Beach:

The Algarve is also famous for the west coast where you will find amazing long beautiful beaches, especially popular with the surfers.

To the west cost from the villa, you can be there in 20-30 minutes drive.

The closest beach you can see from the villa is only a 10 minute walk.

Travel:

Faro airport is approx. 55 min drive with hire cars and taxi available. A new section of motorway(A22) opened in June 2003 connecting Faro to Lagos. Junction 1 is just 5 kms from the villa. Alternatively regular trains run between Faro and Lagos. The villa is just a 10 min taxi from the train station at Lagos. a car is not required but can be rented in the village for the day trips to explore the Algarve. There is plenty of car parking space available for quests immediately outside the villa.

Distances:

The village of Praia Da Luz, is only a short walk of 5 minutes, where you can also take a bus or taxi into Lagos, in just 10 mins. Lagos is a fishing village and famous for its large fresh seafood market, open daily from 7am to 1pm everyday except Sundays, where you can buy the fisherman's fresh catch! Lagos also offers plenty of shops, bars and restaurants by day and also plenty nightlife.

Further Details:

Paraiso da Luz is well situated in a peaceful, yet convenient location suitable for a family, beach, golf or walking holiday. The nearby resort of parque de florists offers squash, archery, riding, a gym and a beauty salon. In fact there are new wellness clinic's popping up all the time. There are riding stables at Almadena offering rides in the unspoilt countryside. The market and fishing town of Lagos, with harbour, new sailing marina, markets, restaurants an shops is only 5km.

Praia da Luz has surprising facilities for a village. There are lots of restaurants, catering for all tastes, as well as bars, banks, post office. Several supermarkets are tucked away in the back streets. The largest (Baptista) offers telephone ordering and free delivery. there is 24hr medical facility as well as dentist.

A 25% deposit is required to confirm a booking.
The balance of the rental is due 4 weeks prior to your holiday arrival date.
An additional security deposit of £150 is required together with the balance.
This will be refunded within 14 days of departure assuming zero damage/loss/breakage. Cancellation up to 4 weeks prior to the start date of the holiday will incur loss of deposit only. Less then 4 weeks prior 100% of the payment is due.

Preferred changeover day is Saturday, but if not convenient please enquire.

Notes on prices:
Prices are for the property per week in UK pounds, it is also except able in Euro. Extra charges for: Air-conditioning/heating throughout house £50 per week. gas central heating £125 per week. Log's for the open fire in lounge £50. Pool heating £50 per week (increases the temperature by 8-10 degrees).

To secure a booking, a 25% deposit of the full amount is required. Then the balance of the rental can be paid 4 weeks before the rental date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.

  • Notes on accommodation: This is a very cosy holiday home, with lots of character, however the location is what tops it off. With Amazing sea views. There's truly something special, about waking up to beautiful ocean views. Then enjoying your breakfast in the tranquil private garden with pool. (heated optional) There is a constant hot water supply via solar heating. Air-condition units in all bedrooms, and lounge/ dinning room. Or large log fire for the cooler nights. The living accommodation is on two floors. Ground floor: Lounge, dinning room, kitchen, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. Lounge/dinning, has sliding glass patio doors to private garden. Kitchen has sea views with patio doors to garden & pool. The first floor: 2 bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms, 1 large shared terrace with ocean views & 1 very large private terrace with amazing sea views, also over looking the pool/garden. Private drive for car and additional parking to front of villa. Cot, highchair, and stair-gate available on request. Outside: The villa is completely detached and private, south facing. It has its own private garden with tiled pool (heated) poolside furniture with sun umbrella for a little shade when needed. The BBQ area is nice a spacious with outdoor dinning table and chairs. Fantastic sea views to sit an enjoy long lunches, and special evenings. Private pool can be heated up to 30 degree's. Gardener and weekly pool maintenance service included.
