Apartment in Chamonix Mont Blanc, French Alps - This Beautifully Refurbished Apartment Has A Peaceful Yet Central Location.

The apartment is 2 minutes walk from the centre of town with its bars and restaurants and is close to the railway station. It has a mezzanine bedroom above a large living room, full sized bunkroom with built in bunkbed and divan below. The bathroom contains all new appliances. The breakfast bar seats 6, as does the wraparound seating in the living area. Cooking is done in the kitchen which opens into the living area behind the solid wood breakfast bar and work surface. There is a private carpark outside, accessed through a remote controlled barrier. There is a 46" wall mounted plasma tv, freeview, dvd player and free wifi. Music is provided through a bluetooth Bose Soundlink mini system. This is the 1st time that we have let our lovely apartment after 12 years in Chamonix.

We have owned our apartment in Chamonix for 12 years. This is the 1st time that we have rented it out and so we have renovated it over the course of the autumn to turn it into a modern well equipped flat for our guests. We do have experience of renting out property, having built a beautiful villa in Tobago which we also rent.

Fantastic location - we love Chamonix

Spent a fantastic week in this well equipped apartment. We had never been to Chamonix before. We absolutely loved it. Fantastic places to eat and drink. Amazing scenery. We bought the Mont Blanc pass and visited Aiguille de Midi, Brevant and Mer De Glacé in one day. Great value doing it this way and probably one of the best days of our lives! Also visited Lac De Passy for a swim on a hot day and managed to see stage 19 of the Tour de France in St Jean De Maurienne. A perfect week!

A great base in Chamonix

We stayed in this great apartment in March 2015. The owner was very helpful on the run up to our stay, and our contact for the apartment in Chamonix was very accommodating too. 4 of us stayed in the apartment and we couldn't have asked for anything more - great location for access to the town and ski buses, and a clean and spacious apartment to come home to at the end of the day. I highly recommend this apartment to others.

A great place to stay when skiing

We have stayed in this apartment several times and are returning again in March 2015.

The location is perfect for the shops, restaurants and bars of chamonix. The car parking and proximity to the station and ski bus stops make it ideal for exploring all the ski areas in the Chamonix valley and beyond.

The apartment was fully refurbished before our last visit and offers everything needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We have only visited in the ski season, but friends have visited in the summer months and have enjoyed walking, cycling etc.

Ideal all year round Chamonix Base

Situated less than 5 minutes walk from the centre of Chamonix, this recently updated apartment was our summer base for the Mont Blanc marathon. We have also used it as a Chamonix ski base, and it's ideal for both. Perfect for a couple or family of 4, it's prime location, car parking and excellent facilities in a relaxing setting make it ideal. The apartment block is quiet and secure and is extremely comfortable. Mezzanine level double bed, cosy bunk room, ample sofas, a small but well equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar and views to the mountain. It really is a moments walk to Chamonix or Cham Sud - easy access for summer and winter sports alike. We were delighted with the comfort and the convenience. An excellent busy authentic Italian restaurant within a few mins, as well as all the usual central Chamonix offerings, but well worth a trip to eat at L'impossible for a top notch eat. Cham Sud also offers quieter restaurants and bars that are worth the trip. From a practical point of view the apartment allows for ski/gear storage. The arrangements were easy and the information we received beforehand was both accurate and informative. All round excellent Chamonix base and this place adds positively to the experience.

Wish It Was Mine

Very cosy flat in a great location. 5 minutes walk to the middle of Chamonix, bars, restaurants and the Casino. Yet very quiet. Has its own car park. The flat comfortably sleeps 4 adults; one double bed and two bunk beds. Fully equipped kitchen and excellent bathroom. Plenty of storage spaces. Charming living/dining room. Have stayed on many occasions.

1 hour from Geneva airport, accessible by train and car.

Distances:

Walking distance to Chamonix town centre. 2 minutes to the nearest restaurants, less than 5 to many others. Local bars are about 3 minutes walk. There are several nearby supermarkets, all within 4-5 minutes walk.

Changeover Day:
There is no set changeover day. The arrival time is 4pm and departure is 11a.m. in order to allow for cleaning and laundry for the next guests. We will try to be as flexible as possible, dependent upon the arrival times and dates of the next guests.

Notes on prices:
25% deposit to secure booking. Balance due 8 weeks before arrival

There is a single cleaning and linen charge of 70euros payable on arrival, together with a 200euro security deposit. The security deposit is repayable on departure.

We are flexible on arrival/departure times subject to your flights, however there will be a late arrival charge for those arriving after 8pm.

  • Notes on accommodation: There is a fire in the living area, but we do not encourage people to use it since the apartment has full central heating and the fire simply creates dust and ash.
