Brilliant - Best Self Catering Ever

What a great place!! The accommodation had everything we needed from a microwave to a bar-b-que. The gated secure complex put our minds at rest with regard to security which meant the kids could play at the communal swimming pool whenever they wanted. The local restaurants were great. The Italian affair is our favourite 'posh' restaurant and the Wok Buffet is a perfect 'eat as much as you can' for 9 Euros each. The local beaches are clean and well kept. The 'La Bahia' restaurant on Cabo Roig beach is amazing for waterside eating but can be a little pricey by comparison to the local places. We admire how well the house (and the complex) is kept so clean and tidy. The Sahara dust that comes in with the rare but impressive storm showers means keeping it all clean must be a job-and-a-half!! Well done!! Can't wait for our next visit next year. Thank you for making our holiday such a brilliant time.

handy for shops / restaurants

A nice size house with a shared pool close to all shops and restaurants and beach. Though it does need a good spring clean, it spoilt our stay. If there had been cleaning materials there i would have used them.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your comments & we were sorry our place wasn't as clean as you expected. We actually arrived the day you left and the place was immaculate, following the usual changeover clean from the couple who look after the place for us. There are contact details for our local representatives and this would have been simple to address so as not to spoil your well earned holiday. We certainly would not expect you to be cleaning yourself on holiday. Of the many bookings we had this year, this was the first criticism of the cleanliness of the property, so would hope was a one off. We noted on our internal feedback you returned with the key's you would consider returning, and would welcome the opportunity to show you we can get it right.

Excellent home from home accomodation. We had a fantastic time in an ideal area with perfect beach 15 mins walk away and shops and restaurants within 5 mins. Lovely clean accomodation and gated complex. The Italian affair restaurant was our favourite with Mary Keys being the most disastrous and do not recommend . Service from the owners was brilliant and very personal, also the transfer service excellent. Many thanks Rosie and Steve for a wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back.

It was just so much better than the others on offer in the area. Close to beach & restaurants. There's no discussion on who's driving to the restaurant of choice in the evening as there are so many close by. Once your back in the complex, it's so nice & relaxing. A real home from home.

Activity and Interests


Situated in the Cabo Roig area, just 15 minutes drive from Torrevieja town centre, the property is a 5 minute walk from sandy beaches and the attractive promenade which stretches around the coast. Just a short stroll will bring you to the Cabo Roig harbour and the numerous bars & restaurants. All the beaches in the area carry the European Blue Flags and gently shelve towards the warm Mediterranean Sea. If you prefer to explore, there are many isolated beaches to be found doted along the coast.


The two closest International Airports are Murcia (20 Mins) & Alicante (45 Mins). Car hire is readily available from either, or we can arrange airport transfers. (4 People €30 & €50, 6 People €40 & €60 Respectively). Car hire not necessary if you plan for beach & restaurant holiday. You will need Car if you plan a golf holiday or wish to explore. Good public transport network & taxis are reasonable if required.


2 Minutes to restaurants & 5 minutes to beach. (Walking).

Further Details:

You will find a variety of water sports on offer such as surfing, sailing and water skiing. The International Sports Marina offers yachting and diving facilities. If you prefer take a boat trip to the island of Tabarca, with it’s spectacular scenery and where scuba diving and snorkelling are a pleasure, or simply sit on the beach and enjoy the sun with a refreshing cold beer.

Torrevieja is the main seaside town to Cabo Riog and worth several visits.

Torrevieja's Aqua Park “Aquapolis” has lots of water slides suitable for all ages and is well worth a visit. Take a picnic and eat in the gardens or why not try one of the cafes where all tastes are catered for.

Children and adults alike will love the fairground at Torrevieja seafront. Visit at night and you will find the craft market thriving with street entertainers, tourist souvenirs and local crafts. You can buy hand made jewellery, carved art from Africa and leather goods at a fraction of the price at home or have your portrait drawn by any one of the many talented artists.

Torrevieja holds numerous festivals for you to enjoy or even take part in. Don’t miss the Habaneras and Polyphony Event In August, which nowadays has become an international event and is considered to be one of the most cultural happenings in Europe. Surrounding Torrevieja are the world renowned salt lakes. Known as 'Laguna de la Mata' and the 'Salinas de Torrevieja'. They date back to the 12th century and are currently the most important in the world. A variety of wildlife, including flocks of flamingo thrive on the wetland habitat, which is managed as a conservation area. Why not visit the Lakes of La Mata and enjoy a mud bath. The treatment is recommended worldwide to ease pains associated with rheumatic, dermatological, heart and respiratory complaints.

Also approximately 1½ hours drive inland are two health spas/mineral hot springs (Archena and Fortuna) set in magnificent surroundings amidst mountains, palms, orange and lemon.

Booking Notes:
The payment structure is as follows. Initially a £100 deposit to secure the week. Within 4 weeks we would require a payment totalling a third of the total booking. The balance would be payable 8 weeks prior to departure. We will work all this out for you and let you know when the payments are due.

Changeover Day:
We are completely flexible on arrival & departure days, but ask for arrivals after 2pm & departures before 10am. If we have no other bookings at changeover we are flexible with this to suit your flight times. This can be confirmed closer to your holiday

Notes on prices:
We offer any day to any day rental so you can source most competitive flight prices. (i.e. Flexible changeover day's).
Extra days a priced at 1/7th of the weekly rates.
