Apartment is 5 min from Torrevieja town centre on the popular urbanisation of Jardin Del Mar XIII. We are in a complex of houses and 2 storey apartments, lovely big swimming pool with beds. Bus stop 5 mins away to toen centre and beaches. Alicante airport 40 min drive, Murcia 35 Drive. We have our own private rooftop solarium with sunbeds, and dining table and chairs,, great for dining on the roof. Our complex is gated which is great for kids safety the swimming pool is 50 metres away from apartment. Large pool, with grass area for sunbathing. Very powerful air conditioning units in the lounge, and double bedroom. Haberneras Shopping Centre 5 min walk with everything you need and great designer shops. Bars & restaurants nearby. Local bus to beach and town centre. Lovely beach restaurants with great buzzy atmosphere along seafront of Torrevieja. Near to the Waterpark Aquapolis, Park of the Nations, & Salt Lakes. Marine harbour and front with boat trips, fab restaurants. Torrevieja market is a must, and the main market thats open every day. If you have a car Benidorm is a great day out 70 minute drive, so much to see and do. Rio Safari Park in Elche 40 minute drive way. Great day out for family. La Mata and Guadarma beaches 10 - 15 minute drive. Lovely place for lunch on the beach and great to people watch. Beaches go on for miles. Favourite for the Spanish. La Zenia Boulevard 15 minute drive fabulous shopping centre, biggest Primark in Europe, designer shops are great. 20% cheaper than same designer shops in London. Lovely restaurants in the centre too. Villamartin 15 minute drive, the Square has some lovely restaurants and shows on. Very buzzy atmosphere. Torrevieja has it all, you can have a busy holiday or just take it easy and chill around apartment, pool and sunroof.

I live in London with my 2 children.. I work full time in the catering industry. I spend most of my vacation in Spain. We have made many friends and have really fallen in love with the Country. I hope to retire to Spain when I reach retirement age. I love this part of Spain as we are in a very nice area of mixed cultures. We also love the shopping mall that is within walking distance. Great if you've had enough of the sun. My children are 21 and 24 they also love this part of Spain. It seems to suit all ages. We love the relaxed way of life. - I hope you will also enjoy our apartment as much as we do.

Very nice apartment well equipped. Very comfortable nice swimming pool 5 mins from apartment if that. Restaurants and bars 5 min walk. Everything we needed. Sun roof with lovely beds and dining table and chairs. Comfortable to stay around apartment. We will go again.

Lovely Apartment

Lovely apartment, nice and clean. Was equipped with all the kitchen utensils you need if you wanted to stay in and cook, There are nice restaurants close by within a 5 minute walk, lovely sun roof with beds and chairs and bar-b-cue. We really enjoyed our holiday and will be going back there again.

very nice apartment in a very good area, close to good restaurants, especially The Rendezvous, air con was very appreciated as the weather was very hot, Carrefour supermarket was very handy only 5 minutes away.

Everything We Wanted

The apartment was so comfortable and had everything we needed for our visit. We felt very happy to chill out and spend time there rather than always going out, especially with the lovely balcony and roof terrace; it was a relaxing change of scenery in a beautiful climate - we felt at home here.

Great location - short walking distance to local bars, restaurants and shops, and only 7 euros for a cab into the centre of Torrevieja [April 2014].

Slightly disappointed that the pool wasn't accessible as pre season but otherwise perfect for what we wanted. Would have loved to have extended our stay.

We'd be more than happy to visit again.

We stayed in this apartment in June 2013 enjoyed it so much we booked for February this year and we are going back again at the end of may the apartment was everything you needed for a relaxing holiday very clean with everything you need with the security as well as it is in a gated complex You have a balcony and you also have a roof terrace and there is a communal pool 2 minutes inside the gated complex we are taken my son and daughterlaw this time. Karen the owner is lovely to talk to and a very caring person will advice were the best places to go feels like I have known her for years Karen also organises my transfers through Denise who cleans the apartment for Karen so we get picked up from the airport taken to apartment and the same when the holiday is over we love it and will keep going back the bars are around the corner with a couple of restuarants, Chinese on the main road and also a Scottish fish and chip shop near by I would recommend this to anyone for a relaxing holiday thanks again Karen for letting your apartment to us

We have just got home from a lovely holiday in Torrevieja. Really nice apartment, owner very nice and helpful. We loved this place as very secure, there is gates on complex, and gates leading on to apartment which made us feel very safe. Roof terrace has nice sunbeds and comfortable cushions to lay out on. We had sun all day. Nice balcolny which is sunny in morning and shaded in afternoon. Perfect for us. Swimming pool really nice 2 min walk. We found some lovely restauarants in town. We will go back and apartment had everything you would need, even a nice big cooler box and beach chairs in the shed on the roof. Pool 2 minute walk with keys which means only people on complex use this so never too busy while we were there. All in all good location and very good value for the apartment and inexpensive to eat out in the surrounding area. We will return later this year.

We do not take an upfront safety deposit from you. On arrival you pay damage of £100.00. Jenny who looks aftrer house cleaning and transfer will refund your £100.00 returnable deposit on the day of departure. I have never had to stop any deposit as this is just taken as a precaution. - I purchased this property as this is near enough to the town, 35 mins walk to beach, or 5 minute drive. The lakes are superb, Haberneras shopping centre within walking distance. We are within walking distance to some good restaurants, bars and a lovely green forest. Bus stop is 5 mins from apartment, bus takes you into Torrevieja, so no need for car. Although, we always have a car as I love to get about to all the different beaches and do lots of sight seeing. We love the lakes in the area which are very beneficial to health. The all year climate is great. We often go in winter as very bright and warm in the day. Does get chilly st night. Apartment is warm with cosy fire for evenings in winter. Summertime time best part of our apartment in watching the sun go down from roof solarium.

Coast/Beach:

Jardin del Mar XIII is situated between the blue and pink salt lakes of Torrevieja. A cycle path connects the beach with the lakes. La Mata Beach is a 10 minute drive, this is a beautiful unspoilt Spanish beach, Guardamar Beach is a 15 minute drive where the beaches are spectacular. Torrevieja beaches and restaurants are a 5 minutes drive. You can pick up local bus into town and to the beach. Taxi from Torreveija to apartment 9 euro. We have some great restauranst within walking distance.

Travel:

Alicante Airport 35 minute drive. Murcia Airport 30 minute drive. I can arrange your transfer to and from Airport 60 Euro's return from Murcia, 80 Euros return from Alicante. Car hire at Alicante airport is inexpensive and easily arranged; best to book before you travel. There is a Torrevieja - Alicante Airport bus service 365 days. The journey is about one hour starting from Torrevieja Bus Station at 8 am, Alicante Airport 9 am.

Distances:

Zenia Boulevard the largest shopping centre in Europe which opened on 25 September 2012, is 15 minute drive. Zenia Boulevard has a traditional Mediterranean design, featuring more than 600 trees and 55 different plant species in the various gardens and open spaces which give colour to the shopping centre. Its layout is designed to reflect a typical Spanish village. Habaneras Shopping centre 10 minute walk from apartment.

Further Details:

It is also ideally placed for a short golf break with four courses all within a 20 minute drive of the apartment. There are bars, restaurants, Carrefour supermarket, the Habaneras shopping Centre, an Aqua-park, Bowling Alley and a Sports Complex all within walking distance. Go Karting is another popular activity with the teenagers. This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches.

Carreforre Supermarket and Habeneras Shopping centre walking distance, Bus route straight into town or beaches. The restaurants on the promenade in Torrevieja areas are fantastic. You can stick to the competitive Spanish restaurants and Tapas bars, or enjoy the more upmarket restaurants. Something for everyone in Torrevieja. Dinner on the promenade, watching the sea waves rolling in and out is the best. El Muelle restaurnt for this is great. You can take a taxi to the water park 6 euros, or walk 20 min walk. Great markets nearby. Salt Lakes also walking distance. Swimming pool 50 metres from the apartment and the private rooftop is amazing. You don't have to go far to soak up the sun. We have everything around us if we want to go out. Also great for those that just like to live the outdoor life and relax in the sun by day, cook at home, eating on the terrace, then watching the sun go down. We have the Waterparks, Park of the Nations, plus La Zenia Boulevard shopping centre 15 minute drive. Lovely shops and restaurants. Biggest Primark in Europe.
