Lovely quiet location though close to the marina

Very clean fully equipped comfortable apartment. Air conditioning a plus. Lovely gardens and great pool for both adults and children. Pool cleaned every day and grounds kept tidy. A lovely tree lined safe walk to the marina. Reception and security staff very helpful and friendly. We booked our trips via the reception and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Carlos, I would recommend your apartment to anyone.

Great for families and very relaxing

A lovely clean and well equipped apartment exactly as described and surrounded by the most beautiful gardens.The swimming pool was well maintained and never too busy so we were totally relaxed on our return.The location was good,not so far from the centre and unless you want to do a lot of sight seeing a car is not necessary as taxi prices are very reasonable also there is a very good bus service.I would definitely recommend this apartment and we are hoping to return to this lovely part of Portugal in the future.Thank you Carlos.

A lovely tranditional Portugese property, nice open plan living area and two large bedrooms and bathroom, complete with everything you need. The balcony overlooks the private well kept garden and pool, all set in a residential area 10 minutes walk from the Marina, golf, beach, bars and shopping area. NIcely situated to explore other towns and villages within 30 minutes to 1 hour car ride.We had a wonderfull month of nice hot weather. The owner and the staff in the reception are so friendly, helpful and welcoming nothing is too much trouble, this just completed our stay and we look forward to going back again in the near future. Highly recommended.

Although I love London I do miss the warm sunshine that we're not so blessed with here so back in 1986 I decided to buy my property in the Algarve and haven't looked back since. It immediately appealed to me for it's lovely tranquil location and really nice gardens.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Faro at 20 Kilometres Nearest Barpub : at 500 Metres Nearest Golf : Pinhal at 600 Metres Nearest Train : Loule at 15 Kilometres Nearest Restaurant : at 500 Miles Nearest Beach : Marina at 1.5 Kilometres Car: not necessary


Vilamoura beach is approx 15 mins walk and Falesia beach is a short drive away (10 mins). There is also a local mini road train that runs from the centre to both beaches


Faro airport is only a 20 min drive away. It is not essential to have a car to reach the centre of Vilamoura and the marina. Bars, restaurants and shops are approx 15 min walk away and there is also a small shopping area with supermarket, banks etc.

Quarteira 2.5 miles - 15 min drive/bus

Loule 10 miles - 25 min drive

Alte 19.5 miles - 35 min drive

Tavira 33 miles - 40 min drive

Lagos 45.8 miles - 54 min drive

Further Details:

Vilamoura marina is a 15 min walk from the apartment with an extensive range of restaurants, waterside cafes/bars, casino/nightclubs. There are several shops/supermarket, banks and small boutiques.

Vilamoura tennis is a 15 min walk away, 6 golf courses within a 10 min drive - Pinhal Golf course being the nearest approx 1/3 mile away, water park: Aquashow is 2.5 miles away. There are also various water sports on offer or boat/fishing trips.

The neighbouring town of Quarteira (short drive or bus every hr) holds a weekly market every wed. It also has an excellent fresh fish market open daily until 1pm, next to it is the wonderful fruit/veg market that also sells fresh meats and a variety of cheese. For eating out: "O Jacinto" is highly recommended for its fish/seafood dishes.

The delightful and picturesque village Alte is certainly worth a visit as is Tavira, a town of historical interest and full of character. It has its own island and lagoon - Pego do Inferno. Further afield but a great day out is Lagos dating as far back as 2000 years BC.

The property is one of only 37 apartments so it's a very small, well designed and maintained development. (Only two Floors high) It's really peaceful as only a handful of apartments are used as holiday lets. The proximity to the marina and all it has to offer is ideal for those without a car. It also serves as a great base for those who want to explore all the nearby villages/towns.

  • Notes on accommodation: It is ideal for young couples and families. The one flight of stairs leading up to the apartment is also a plus for the elderly. Golfers will benefit from the apartment's proximity to some of the best golf courses in the Algarve. There is also a reception open from Mon to Fri, 9am-5pm, Sat 10am-1pm should there be any queries. Outside: The large gardens and pools are very well maintained. There is one good sized pool and a separate smaller/shallow pool for toddlers. The garden benefits from having generous areas of shade for those who need it and it's parameter is a planted hedge that provides privacy and tranquillity. Each occupant has their own numbered parking space and there is also ample parking space for visitors. The grounds at night are well lit and has all night security. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included and changed once a week plus general clean. Please provide your own beach/pool towels Other: Entrance hall with hanging rack for coats and bags etc.
