Fabulous Family Accommodation with Sea Views; Log Burner & Central Heating

Penny Nab is set in the perfect location on Church Street, just off Staithes harbour and is a great property in which to spend time with family and friends. The cottage has been fully restored in a contemporary but sympathetic style and enjoys modern facilities/appliances throughout with a log burner on the ground floor and central heating throughout. The cottage has great views of the harbour from the front of the property and a panoramic view out to sea from the master bedroom on the second floor. With only a short walk to the harbour, village pubs and shops this is a great cottage for holidays throughout the year. You can unload your car outside the cottage and the main car park is a 5-10 minute walk from the cottage.

This house is in a great location ~ views .⚓️

The house is just yards away from the hub of this beautiful place ~ the lay out is on four floors the kitchen is very well laid out a great space for family meals ~ the rest of the rooms are summed up on the Cushings ~ cozy.

Close to the best pub in the village ( The George ) other pubs are available . 🍻 .

Brilliant Cottage

This is a brilliant little cottage, in an idyllic location that caters for every need! We stayed here with 4 adults and 3 under 3's, whom all had an amazing time.

The cottage is spacious, very well equipped and maintained. The log burner was brilliant for a cosy night once the little ones were in bed! No complaints at all - except the holiday wasn't long enough!

A perfect holiday

Our stay in Penny Nab was lovely. It is one of my favourite holidays ever. The cottage is a clean, comfortable, relaxing place. It has everything you could possibly need during your stay. We had booked for 5 nights but we really wished we had booked for longer! The location is fantastic with wonderful sea views from the front windows, We enjoyed going out with nets to catch crabs, walks along the local beaches looking for fossils and nice meals out in the welcoming pub nearby. I look forward to returning to Penny Nab!

Wonderful famiily holiday

A wonderful 7 night stay in Staithes. 6 adults 1 toddler and a dog (who stayed in utility area or beach)

A beautiful harbour village that we felt privileged to be able to stay in and for the 2nd time we chose Penny Nab. We could hear the waves and the sea gulls every morning which added to the sea side experience.

This year with a toddler it was even better to be so near the beach so we could pop in and out with tea and snacks while his Mum got some rest and dad took time to paint the lovely scenery.

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, only some dark curtains in the upstairs small room would be helpful for the future?

Absolutely no complaints. Thank you and we hope to returnanother year.

BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

What an absolutely fantastic cottage for our family get-together, plenty of room for 7 adults, well equipped and comfortable. It felt like being at home! Not one of us had any complaints and 5 of our party who have never been to Staithes before fell in love with the cottage, place and friendly atmosphere, not forgetting the breathtaking scenery. We would not hesitate to come back again.

Lovely cottage

Have been coming to Staithes for years and this was the best cottage we've stayed in.The beds are great,the kitchen fully equipped and spacious, the lounge large and comfortable and the location and views are tremendous.Have already booked for next year.

Coast/Beach:

Staithes has a small harbour beach 200 yards from the properties, Runswick Bay 5 miles - long sandy beach renowned as the best beach combing beach in Britain, Sandsend 7 miles - beautiful long sandy beach with stunning views towards Whitby and very popular with surfers.

Travel:

Staithes is on the main bus route from Middlesbrough to Whitby with hourly services. Stations - Saltburn by the Sea 9 miles, Whitby 9 miles. Airports - Durham Tees Valley 25 miles, Leeds Bradford 75 miles, Newcastle 75 miles. Use of a car is not essential, but recommended.

Distances:

Whitby 9 miles, Saltburn by the Sea 9 miles, North York Moors Railway at Grosmont 11 miles, Scarborough 28 miles, York 45 miles.

Further Details:

Two local pubs The George and Cod & Lobster in the village plus The Cleveland Corner bistro, an intimate dining experience. In Dalehouse there is the Fox & Hounds and in Hinderwell the Badger Hounds offering good pub food. All are within 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk if you are feeling energetic! Further afield there are many award winning restaurants in Goldsborough, Sandsend and Whitby.
