I'm a family man, and a small business owner. This has taught me the importance of customer service and providing them with a service/product which goes above and beyond what was expected. With this property I'm aiming to do the same.
Guestbook comments from the owner
Vera Smith - As a 70 year old ,I had the downstairs bedroom, which was perfect. I could wander about on the top terrace, as it was all on the level, with wonderful views. A perfect holiday.
Fred and Wendy - Idyllic setting, quiet and so relaxing. The villa had everything we needed. Wendy loved the warm water in the swimming pool
Beverley Massey - A beautiful house nestling on the side of a mountain with great views. Very quiet, great for a peaceful relaxing holiday. Loved sitting in the sun by the swimming pool. Somewhat remote, you need a car if you want to go to the beach, or explore further afield.

We had a wonderful relaxing week in The Little Stone Villa. We loved everything about it including the total peace, stunning views and natural beauty all around, lovely pool, homely and charming house, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and beautiful outdoor eating area and garden. Thank you Linda for the warmest of welcomes. Your thoughtfulness was much appreciated. Evia is a fabulous island and staying at the villa is a totally special and memorable experience.
One of the most beautiful holiday destinations
Little stone villa could not have been more perfect with breath-taking views into the mountains and a lovely homely feel to whole complex. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil you could possible need plus a healthy larder full of herbs, spices. In addition to this beautiful villa is Linda, who is one of the nicest hosts we’ve ever stayed with. She has plenty of local knowledge and will also go out of her way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I can also absolutely recommend taking advantage of Linda’s 3 course meals – we at the best calamari I’ve ever tasted! The pool during the day and the terrace for evening meals were just amazing. I can’t wait to go back and stay in one of the most beautiful holiday destinations I’ve been to!
Peaceful With Stunning Views - A Home From Home
We stayed with our two daughters (5&7) and my parents, so 6 of us in total. The Little Stone Villa blew us away, from the exquisite stonework, views from the terrace, views from the pool, views from the shower...you name it, every direction you turn there's a feast for your eyes. We loved the seclusion of the place, nestled on a mountainside and spent most evenings enjoying BBQ's on the terrace and star gazing. There are beaches within driving distance and the other Sporades islands can be visited from Kymi Port, a 10 minute drive away. This is no ordinary villa, it has been built with such love and attention to detail, that it felt like our home for the 2 weeks we were there. Linda thinks of everything, from kitchen utensils, games for the children, DVD's, books, washing powder, pool towels, bats and balls, Wi-Fi, air con, even conjuring up a box of Lego when she heard our youngest played with it. We particularly liked how the pool was a distance from the villa (36 steps, staggered over two levels, to be precise!). Having young children, this gave us peace of mind and them the freedom to roam on the top level, next to the villa, when we weren't at the pool. Not once did we fret about their safety and believe me, I can be a fretter! My parents are in their 70's and the downstairs bedroom and shower were ideal for giving them a bit of privacy (at least when the girls weren't vying to explore the games and books on the bookshelf in there). A magical place with memories made that will long outlive our holiday. We'd recommend the Little Stone Villa in a heartbeat.
Peace and relaxation in a beautiful location
We (my husband and I and four adult daughters) were made to feel at home from the start when Linda gave us a warm welcome, despite arriving much later than anticipated. The villa is beautiful with wonderful views and is very well-equipped and maintained as is the pool - just a perfect place to relax. There are two beaches worth visiting - Kalamos -beautiful and quiet - and Mourteri, which has more of a buzz. We went on a walk from the villa to the next village. The path is along the route of an old railway line so not too strenuous but with stunning views and masses of wild flowers. Linda could not have been more helpful. She cooked two delicious meals for us, took us to a garage when our car brakes developed a fault (not ideal in that terrain!), recommended restaurants and was on hand to deal with any queries. We would definitely recommend Little Stone Villa to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.
Little Stone Villa
Linda - Thank you for everything last week – much appreciated. We much enjoyed your delicious meal and thank you for all the help and small things that made our week very relaxing. We loved the views, quiet walks and of course the pool. Good local market, proximity to the beach for a quick dip in the morning and a wonderful beach at Kalamos is worth seeing. A great spot for a week's rest and relaxation. Thank you
We had a wonderful family holiday at the villa. We were made to feel very welcome by Linda who is a fantastic host and cooked us an absolutely delicious feast one night. The villa felt like a real home from home. Linda had everything we could need there from washing powder to a football pump.
The views are stunning from the terrace and pool. Which is where we spent most of our time. We were glad to have a 4x4 for the track to the villa and to explore around the island. The beach at Kalamos was beautiful, and practically empty when we were there. A drive through the mountains to Chiliadou was spectacular if a little precarious. All in all a perfect spot to relax in the pool and get away from it all.
From the Owner
“My parents (Greek father / English Mother) owned a business whereby they helped people buy properties in Greece. This business took them all over Greece, to every island and place of beauty. When it came to buying a property myself they advised that Evia was the most beautiful, peaceful and least touristy part of Greece. I certainly found this to be the case when visiting for myself. After a long search we found the perfect spot, near to the village of Kymi, on the side of a mountain overlooking the bay. It really is stunning. At the time the land had a small but picturesque stone building on the plot which over the course of the next 7 years we renovated, extended, decorated and added a pool, terraced areas and much more. Many amazing times have been spent here with the family.”

The villa has oil fired central heating and a open log fire (logs provided). The pool can be heated, should you wish to swim.
During the the winter months, you will not get the scorching sun that Greece is famous for. Occasionally we have rain and snow, but it is short lived. With a slight nip in the air, we have beautiful blue skys. Perfect for walking and exploring the local area.
We are now working in conjunction with Sylvia Piango a local lady who speaks Greek, English and German. With her extensive knowledge of the area she can organise walking days to suit your requirements, trips to the olive press, boat excursions, scoober diving, and could accompany you to one of the many festivals in the villages around Kimi. From the Owner
“The first thing is the remoteness of the location.
