Apricot Cottage is a beautifully presented spacious Grade II listed property. It has been stylishly refurbished resulting in a cool, contemporary holiday home for 6 - 8 people. 10 - 12 can be accommodated in conjunction with the adjacent property, the Old Hardware (property E6920). This is a perfect place to stay in the heart of the working village of Docking, close to Burnham Market and within a 10 minute drive of the beautiful North Norfolk coast, with its miles of wide sandy beaches. This uniquely designed house is a super place for families with a fabulous kitchen and living and dining rooms both with wood burner stoves. There is another large downstairs room which can be used as 2nd living room or made up as a 4th bedroom. Upstairs is a gorgeous master bedroom - a lovely high-ceiling room with many original features. Two other bedrooms are available, one double and one with twin beds. A welcome bottle of wine is provided upon arrival.

We were the first guests in Apricot Cottage and had a wonderful week. The cottage has been decorated very tastefully and is stocked to a high standard.



The place is very welcoming and lovely - the owners were also accommodating in ensuring the cottage was child friendly. It is located very well in North Norfolk and we would recommend it to friends and family.

Notes on accommodation: Apricot Cottage can accommodate up to 12 people in conjunction with the adjacent property, the Old Hardware (property E6920). Please contact the owners directly if you have any queries or would like an indication of the prices for particular dates. Outside: There is space for one vehicle parked off road but there are no parking restrictions and it is usually possible to park outside on the High Street. There is a pedestrian entrance at the front off the High Street but also direct vehicular and pedestrian access from Mill Lane. The courtyard garden is ideal for BBQ's or sitting out in the afternoon sun. In the garden guests can help themselves to a wide variety of fruit and vegetables. At night the garden is beautifully lit and in good weather wide French doors open up the living room to the courtyard. Utility Room: Washing machine and clothes dryer is available. Towels and Linen: The holiday cottage is supplied with bed linen and towels. For longer stays cleaning can be arranged and linen and towels changed if required for a small additional fee.

A beautifully designed property in the village of Docking, close to the North Norfolk coast offering windswept beaches, excellent pubs and great cafes. Apricot cottage is not your usual run of the mill holiday home - it's a very thoughtful and stylish conversion. Even the modest but pretty garden has been well conceived. Owners Stephen and Nina were kind, helpful and responsive hosts. Whilst Docking is off the beaten track that is part of its appeal - much less frenetic than some neighbouring villages!

Fantastic Cottage

We have just returned from a perfect Christmas break at Apricot Cottage. We were welcomed by the owner to a beautifully warm home, candles and a real Christmas tree! The cottage is beautifully furnished and very comfortable. The owner responded very quickly and rectified a wifi issue, even though it was Boxing Day and we didn't expect him to respond until after the holiday period. Thank you! The cottage is in a good position for visiting the pretty surrounding villages and beaches.
