Villa in Binibeca Nou, Fabulous location just 4 minutes walk from the beach. Great restaurants and shops in Cala Torret

Villa Raquero (Beachcomber) has 3 bedrooms and 2 new bathrooms with an open plan living area leading out on to a private, recently renovated, terrace. There is a large pool (10 x 4 meters) as well as a large roof terrace. The pool is in the sun from dawn till dusk and is only shared with the next door Villa. The sun terrace is ideal for sunbathing. There is also a separate private alfresco dining area with barbeque. The Villa itself is comfortable and spacious providing everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Stunning Binibeca beach is just a 4 minute stroll and is safe for children and adults alike with Red Cross life guards duriing the summer season. There is a beach bar providing drinks and snacks and you can relax whilst watching the kids build sandcastles and splash in the turquoise sea. There is a local supermarket and bakery about 10 minutes walk away, and a bus runs regularly to Mahon, the capital.

There is a road train that goes from Binibeca Vell to Punta Prima, and stops at Binibeca.

There is a brand new water park in Punta Punta, just down the road that opened last year. It is excellent for adults and kids. Kids need to be 1m20 to go on the big rides!

We live and work in the mountains of Switzerland but have always loved the seaside. In 2012 we purchased our beautiful Villa in Menorca. Menorca has always been an island we have visited and is a very special place, with close family connections. We feel very privileged to spend time in this truly wonderful location. As a family with young children we know the requirements of a good family holiday and feel our property in Menorca ticks all these boxes. We hope you enjoy sharing our much loved holiday home.

Why Emma chose San Luis

Location for us is always very important. Binibeca Nou has the benefit of the facilities you need within walking distance and a stunning beach. The capital Mahon and the airport are only 15 minutes drive away. Our villa has a fantastic location with lots to do on your doorstep but without being spoilt or over developed.

What makes this villa unique

With small children I need to be able to walk to the beach rather than getting in a hot car. I need Internet access and (sorry to say) emergency children's TV! I also want a sea view, a pool and a sun terrace. I want to be able to walk to a shop and a variety of good restaurants. I want to be somewhere unspoiled and attractive. Luckily we have all of this and more.

Great Villa and Superb Location

I stayed here for a few days September and had a lovely stay. The Villa has all the amenties that could be hoped for and the location is superb, only a couple of minutes to the water's edge on Binibeca Beach

A Little Bit Of Paradise

Binebeca Nou - a hidden gem. Truly a refreshing taste of tranquility, nature and all that a holiday should be.

"Casita Roquero" is situated slightly set back from the beach - which is just a 5 minute walk. In a quiet cluster of tasteful villas and casitas. The photos are accurate.

The attention to detail by Emma the owner is apparent from the onset. The arrangements with the booking, the instruction booklet at the Casita and her wonderful taste which carries on through from the Internal decoration to the patio and terrace. Lovely plants and flowers !

It is close to Calla Torret a small town with wonderful restaurants a supermarket and a bakery. Alternatively you can go into Binebeca Vell a small resort. We preferred the former but it is a matter of choice.

The pool is a lovely size and warm !

I would highly recommend this property - especially for families or couples who want a more tranquil holiday.

We snorkelled and took an excursion on a kayak - both are a must.

We will return.

Very nice house in superb location

We have just returned from spending two very enjoyable weeks in this charming villa. The house was spotlessly clean on arrival and all facilities were present and correct as described. The owner has provided a helpful manual and notices here and there explaining how to use the washing machine, cooker, TV etc as well as maps and guides to the island. Linen was changed and the house was cleaned at the end of the first week. There is a contact number for the owner's local British ex-pat agent who very kindly talked me through the process of changing a gas bottle!

Indoors, the open plan living/dining/kitchen area is spacious and comfortable; both bathrooms are modern with the choice of a shower cubicle or a bath if you prefer. The solar-heated hot water was plentiful at all hours: whether showering after a day on the beach or washing up the breakfast dishes, it never ran cold.

Outdoors there is plenty of space to eat and sunbathe in privacy including an enormous roof terrace with views of the sea. The house is one of a semi-detached pair, which means you share the standard 8x4m pool with the neighbouring house. Our stay overlapped with three different neighbours, one of whom seemed slightly taken aback the first time they found my son swimming in the pool, but it was no problem for us and in this great location you won't want to spend all your time on site anyway. And so to the surroundings ...

The house is in the quiet villa development of Binibeca Nou. The road is quiet with no through traffic - it is a winding loop that only serves the hundred or so villas of various shapes and sizes in the Binibeca Nou urbanisation, arranged attractively on a gentle hillside that slopes down to the sea. The house is five minutes' walk from Binibeca's sandy beach where children can swim safely. Eating out: well, you are spoilt for choice: the villa is roughly equidistant between Cala Torret in one direction and Binibeca Vell in the other, each of which has a cluster of half a dozen restaurants, all tending towards the upmarket end of the spectrum and serious about their food (but still very relaxed and welcoming). A particular recommendation is Pedro's in Cala Torret: go there early in your stay and ask to reserve a balcony table on any night they can fit you in - you need to book several days ahead but I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

Fabulous villa

Binibeca has a wonderful beach and we had the most amazing holiday in this fabulous villa. It has everything you need and a luxurious pool to boot. The owners are really helpful and they have thought of all the essentials, right down to a bbq area. You are well within a short stroll to the beach and a local shop depending which direction you like to walk. We had an extremely happy time and great weather. I totally recommend this villa for the location and it's amenities. Happy holiday to anyone who rents this villa.

Just right!

This villa was just just right for us, clean, attractive, conveniently situated near the beach and shops but in a quiet area. The spacious layout of the terrace, living area and the two bathrooms was great. The villa pool is shared but it is big so it worked fine for us and we went to a different beach almost every day.

There are several restaurants in walking distance and two grocery shops, bakery and gorgeous little cafe providing coffee and the best chocolate croissants ever! The beach bar is a perfect spot for lunch or a pre-dinner drink.

We thoroughly recommend this villa, it was a perfect base for a relaxing holiday on a beautiful island.

To reserve Casita Raquero we ask for a 50% deposit. This is non refundable should you decide to cancel your trip. The balance is due 4 weeks before your departure. A date will be clearly stated for payment of the balance. Payment is made by bank transfer or cheque to our UK bank. We can also except payment in Euros. Payment is to be made by bank transfer or cheque to our UK bank account. A security deposit of £250 is held but fully refundable subject to no damage, the villa beling left tidy and the keys returned to the key safe.
Should you wish to book please inform us before you book your flights and ensure we have reserved the villa for you.

Changeover Day:
Change over day is a Friday to be in keeping with many of the flights to the island. Check out 9.30am check in after 4pm. Unfortunately we are not flexible on this as the villa needs to be prepared for your arrival.

This charming Villa is set in a quiet residential area of Binibeca Nou. The Villa has private grounds and large pool shared with the one adjacent Villa. The pool has roman steps into the water so it is easy to access. It slopes gently towards the 2m deep end. The pool is maintained by a pool technician. The Villa is a 4 minute walk to Binibeca beach and has views towards the sea. The Villa is non smoking and pet free. There is a a possibilty to rent the next door Villa together with our Villa. This is an ideal option if you are a bigger party or two families/sets of friends. Outside: Villa Raquero shares a large private swimming pool (10m x 5m) and has ample private terraced area for dining, sun bathing and eating out. The roof terrace provides views of the sea in the day and at night you can watch the stars and the Mediterranean sunset with a glass of wine. There is outdoor furniture for eating 'alfresco' plus sunbeds and parasols. Although the pool area and the grounds are shared, Villa Raquero is set back from it's neighbours and enjoys privacy and space. Utility Room: There is a new utility room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and other useful items. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: A cleaning service and all linen apart from beach towels are included in the rental price. For bookings of more than one week there is a mid-stay clean with fresh linen. A travel cot, mattress and high chair is provided at no extra cost.
