Battersea House in Tenby, Pembrokeshire, Wales - Central But Quiet Location, Beach And Town Moments Away

2013 is our first year of letting this property and whilst choosing furnishings we have focused on luxurious comfort and practicality. Downstairs there is a comfortable lounge, a warm open plan kitchen and bright and airy dining room with seats for 8 people. The kitchen is very well stocked with equipment and the central Aga allows you to provide hearty family meals, ready for your return from the beach all day. There is also an outdoor courtyard with a hot shower, great for helping children out of wetsuits after a hard day's surf on South Beach. Utility room containing a large washing machine and tumble dryer. On both the 1st and 2nd floors, there are 2 bedrooms and a family bathroom making this perfect for either a large family or a 2 family share. BT Internet access during your stay. Awarded 5 stars by Visit Wales.

Seascape Holidays Limited is a small holiday lettings company with property in both St Ives and Tenby in West Wales. The company is run by Sue Watt and Robert Willis. We live in Cardiff and have been holiday letting for over 7 years. Why Sue Watt chose Pembroke, Tenby, Saundersfoot & The South Coast

Tenby is a beautiful town, we never get tired of the cobbled streets and the soft sandy beaches. The sun always seems to shine in Tenby and we have spent many a summer's evening in the sea until late.

We particularly love all the attractions during August and September, with the Tenby Harbour fireworks each week and the Long Course weekend and Ironman competition in September is an inspiring and moving affair.

What makes this house unique

This is our favourite house for a large family holiday It is very big sleeping 8 people with a lovely courtyard for breakfast or a glass of wine in the evening. It is within Tenby town walls and at one end of the street is the beach and at the other end is the town. Secure parking for Battersea House is available at another of our properties on a first come first served basis. Visit Wales tourist board visited on 25 February 2013 and this beautiful house has been given 5 stars.

We have focused our attention on comfort in this house. It is still luxurious, but most importantly, comfortable and relaxing.

During the Ironman competition, you can cheer from the bedroom windows as competitors run below bay window on the 1st floor.

Notes on accommodation: 1 private parking space, 5 mins walk away.This house is within the town walls and during the Summer months, there is restricted access to the town to all of the central properties. The parking space is not within the restricted area and is easily accessible for your convenience. Outside: Outdoor courtyard which contains hot shower, 6 seats and large table and storage for your surfboards/beach equipment. Unfortunately, we do not accept pets. Utility Room: Washing machine Tumble dryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels for the house are included. Other: Downstairs corridor gives direct access to back courtyard. Can also be used to store prams, pushchairs, bikes, etc..




Beach is a short walk away at end of St Marys Street


Tenby is accessed via car or train or bus. Train station is 5 minutes walk away.

Tenby is a beautiful town and a jewel in the crown of Pembrokeshire. Quaint houses, cobbled streets and a thriving tourist industry mean that the town has some lovely shops, cafes, restaurants and public houses.

Nestled on the coast and within walking distance of 2 beautiful beaches, the town is now an all year round holiday destination and is well place for exploring the Pembrokeshire coastal path, Folly Farm, Heatherton, Oakwood and the many varied tourist attractions nearby. All within a 20/30 minute drive away.
