Wonderful silent Loft. I loved the style, the old pine furniture and lime washed walls, rustic but comfortable. Mousehole is a dream. Lucy and Hugo, Bristol

We went to St Ives & lands end today, both beautiful. Its been lovely to stay at Abbey Loft and in Mousehole. We would definitely recommend it to our friends.

Zoe, London

Thank you to you and Dominic for making sure that everything was OK during my week in Mousehole. I had a great holiday, it’s a fabulous place and the Abbey Loft was just the perfect place to stay. Prahba, Gloucestershire.

Characterful property in a great location

  • 5 of 5

Abbey Loft is in a great location with views of the harbour from the stable door. I loved the rustic decor. Small but perfectly fine for a couple and baby. The bed was really comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and there was a plentiful supply of hot water. Lizzie gave us flowers and wine to welcome us which was lovely. Mousehole is such a fantastic place and the perfect location for families. On our holiday we visited St Ives, Porthcurno Beach, St Michael's Mount and Trengwainton Gardens. However, you could easily stay a week without having to leave Mousehole. In the village we drank at The Ship Inn and ate at the Rock Cafe, Jessie's Dairy and the Old Coastguard Hotel. We went on two boat trips with Cormorant Cruises one to Newlyn Harbour the other to Lamorna Cove. Skipper Mike Collier was fantastic and regaled us with lots of historical facts about the area. We will be back....

Ideal Accommodation

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic break, staying in Abbey Loft.

Ideally situated just off the harbour in a quiet courtyard - very convenient. We parked in the harbour car park which is less than 5 minutes walk away. The accommodation was just the right size for 2 people, and had all that we needed for a week long stay.

Lizzie met us on arrival and made us feel very welcome.

Mousehole is a beautiful place to stay, and I'm sure we'll be returning.

Easter Getaway

  • 5 of 5

My boyfriend andI I were looking for somewhere to spend the Easter weekend and we couldn't have chosen better. Abbey Loft is the perfect couples getaway, tucked away but just moments from the harbour....you can see the harbour waters through the lobster pots from the kitchen window! So gorgeous and it has everything you need. The hosts are really friendly and helpful and left some lovely treats for our arrival. I would love to go back again sometime.

Lovely little place, perfect for a couples' weekend retreat. Just round the corner from local shop and very near pub which does great food!

What a magical little place Mousehole is.

Thoroughly recommend!

A Profoundly Pleasant Experience

  • 5 of 5

Lizzie and Dominic went far beyond our expectations from the beginning: helping us with logistics, information, guidance from the moment we arrived--and before! It's hard to imagine enhancing the charms of Moushole, but they did. Truly gracious and helpful. The space is most pleasant and well-maintained, and located perfectly. We hated to leave, and are scheming ways to get back. Recommend with utter enthusiasm.
