About Mr Paul Biddick

Hi. We are a brother and sister act - born and bred within a few miles of Mevagissey. Despite us both independently moving away from our village (very unheard of) to work and experience life over the Tamar we have never ever left our roots and both always knew that we would return with our families to our beloved homeland. Ironically we both found ourselves widowed at relatively young ages. However out of heartbreak comes good and as a result we are now lucky enough to be the owners of No5 Waterfront Court & No6 Nare Court. We hope they will give you as much pleasure as they give us.

Why Mr Paul Biddick chose Mevagissey

We both so love Mevagissey. It conjures up such happy memories of family life as children. Going out on mackerel fishing trips and then going home to eat the catch. Alternatively eating fish and chips or cockles and mussels from the harbour, with gulls swiping down to take part. Mevagissey just hasn't changed. It is still one of the prettiest villages in Cornwall with its busy working harbour, bustling streets and an eclectic mix of craft & gift shops. You can hang up the car keys and within minutes dine at a variety of pubs & waterfront restaurants, sampling the fresh locally caught fish. Wake up to the clanking of the boats and watch the fishermen just outside of your bedroom window. As locals we love driving the 8 miles to stay here!

Notes on accommodation: Whilst we welcome children , due to the close proximity of the cliff-face the communal gardens are unsuitable for them to play in. No smoking within the property or grounds. Please note that Nare Court Residents Association has a ruling that pets are not allowed in the establishment. Outside: Balcony to front of property with outdoor furniture. Small courtyard area to rear. Communal gardens . Spectacular views across the ocean from the Look-out Platform. Utility Room: Washer/dryer within apartment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are included. Please bring own beach towels.The property is cleaned weekly.

Unmatched views! Very comfortable apartment with very considerate hosts.

Mevagissey is a great town to stay in - brilliant location, great restaurants and just large enough to be interesting. The apartment is a five minute walk from the harbour up a steep hill with the most spectacular ocean views you could wish for. The parking place is a little tight, so Paul suggested we park in the visitor parking, which worked well. Probably wiser to not visit Cornwall with a large car. The streets can be tiny! The apartment has a nespresso machine, which we didn't realize, so hadn't carried any pods with us. Otherwise it is done up really well with everything one could possibly want and more. Great DVD s and books as well. We will definitely go back to it.

Beautiful Views

Property is lovely with the most magnificent views. Loved sitting on the balcony taking in the breathtaking views of the sea and Mevagissey.The apartment was clean and very well maintained with good furniture and the owner provided very good customer service. We would definitely recommend this property. Hope to visit again soon as we didn't want to leave. Wonderful!!

The apartment had everything we needed. Plus beautiful views and peace and quiet. It was a joy to wake up in the morning and watch the sun rise, from the balcony, even in February.Also the apartment was spotlessly clean and pretty. Mevagissy is warm welcoming and ideally set for getting to surrounding attractions. Although there is plenty to keep you busy in evening.

Simply Superb

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic week's holiday at Oceans Edge. From the second I turned the key in the door and opened it - it had the WOW factor. The welcome items, especially the champagne, were a really nice start to our holiday. The apartment is immaculate. It felt immediately like a home from home.

This beautiful apartment is large, spacious and airy. The decor and furnishings are very tasteful and plush.

It is well stocked with everything that you could wish for, from the well appointed kitchen, through to the books, dvd's and board games.

The stunning view from the private balcony is amazing. Set in a prime location, on Polkirt Hill, this is a 5 minute walk to the harbour and the centre of Mevagissey.

The South West Coast path runs past the apartment building too.

Oceans Edge ticked every box for us. Made our holiday fantastic having such a wonderful base and a very comfy place to stay.

There are plenty of places to eat, visit and explore this unspoilt corner of Cornwall.

I would not hesitate to recommend Oceans Edge to anyone.

I am sure that we will be back soon.
