Villa 245 has a pleasant garden

Villa 245 is a comfortable single floor residence with a private pool, air conditioning and surrounding gardens. This lovely villa has a practical, open-plan lounge/dining area and kitchen, and is divided on two levels, both attractively furnished. The kitchen is fully fitted and originally equipped with a breakfast bar and has all that is necessary for your stay.

The three bedrooms are comfortably distributed; the master bedroom lies next to the kitchen, with twin beds and an ensuite bathroom. The other two bedrooms which lead off the dining room are also twin-bedded with ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and hairdrier. The rectangular shaped pool and generous covered terrace area with awning are through the lounge´s french windows and are equipped with the necessary terrace furniture for six guests. Summer dining may be prepared with the portable carbon BBQ. All beautifully surrounded by pleasant gardens.

Two different weeks

We love Son Bou and try to stay in different villas where we can. This villa was a first for us.

The views were out of this world but the villa was looking quite tired and maintenance was generally needed.

The pool was so cold it was used just occasionally too. Out of the three sun parasols one was of good condition to use and only five sun beds for a villa for seven.

Towel changes etc all good. Very few glasses but loads of mugs.

However that being said we would stay at this villa again and we know the view would engage us again for a great holiday.

Dated villa which is saved by the location, view & private pool

The villa is situated in a perfect location for getting around son bou. It's a couple minutes drive to the beech and all the local shops etc. The view from the villa is fantastic, you overlook son bou and the sea goes on for as far as the eye can see. Having a private pool is great and the pool is a very genourous size. It's not a heated pool but with the temperatures hitting 30 degrees everyday it's perfect for cooling down. There's a big tree to the left of the pool that birds love to sit in, they also love to poo around and in the pool which is a bit disgusting but it's an open air pool so is to be expected. The villa itself feels a bit dated. The two main bedrooms are a decent size and despite the heat we and our toddler slept ok. There's no air con in this property and it stays hot ALL the time. Fans were provided and they were of some help. TV has sky with English channels but you'll be hard pressed to find more than a handful that actually work. The kitchen was basic and looks like something from the early 90's. What was really disappointing is that not even the basics were covered. No tea, coffee, bottled water, salt, sugar, you name it you'll have to provide it all yourself. Right down to a bar of soap in the bathrooom. The cooker is gas and needs matches to light the hobs. They didn't even supply any matches so we had to go out and buy some just to be able cook. We were lucky enough that they threw in a few toilet rolls I guess! For the amount we paid for this villa it left a bit of a negative feeling to be honest. Overall this dated property is saved by the private pool, view and location.

We are surrounded by clear blue Mediterranean waters, waters with an exciting military-maritime past and providing a rich food source. They offer an entertaining haven for those keen on sea sports. Some of the more notable water sports around the island include:

Sailing: Available in all the major ports of the island, which are Maó, Ciutadella, Fornells and Addaia. All these natural harbours promote great sailing and windsurfing competitions, such as the Kings Cup, High Sea Fishing Cup and the Classical Yachts Cup and Balearic windsurfing competition.

Scuba Diving: Menorca has some excellent underwater caves and protected waters that give a unique opportunity for serious divers. We also have some excellent and professionally operated schools for either learning or for expanding on skills already acquired , one of which is resident in Son Bou.

Other Water Sports Kayak, ski-wake board, windsurf, kitesurf and skiing are some of the other alternative water sports.


Son Bou is the islands prime tourist spot, not only for its beautiful beach and tourist facilities but also for the surrounding areas of interest. The resort is located to the south of the island, in the area of Alaior, and can be divided into three areas:

For last minute bookings under 30 days the company requests the full holiday payment.
