Farmhouse in Beauly, Inverness, Scotland - Peaceful Location Perfect for Touring the Highlands.

Dunmore House is set in a bright peaceful location overlooking the village of Beauly and surrounding countryside. All rooms have a panoramic aspect and benefit from comfortable furnishings. There is an abundance of local activities within easy access including some lovely walks and cycle routes, loch and river fishing, horse riding and golf. For bird watchers you can sit from the comfort of the house or garden and watch the Red Kites soar overhead. The village of Beauly itself has a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and cafes and also features our local pipe band and highland dancers every Thursday evening throughout the summer season.

About the Owner

I live with my husband and our two young girls on our 30 acre croft at Dunmore Beauly. We moved here five years ago and have been running the croft on which we have some sheep, hens, horses, two cats and our Labrador Mia. We have recently built a new family home and are delighted to welcome you to our farmhouse in which we hope you will enjoy a wonderful holiday.

Amazing View and Stay at Dunmore House

The home proved absolutely perfect for our family (mom with 3 adult children) during our stay in the Scottish Highlands. There was certainly more than enough room to spread out, and the gorgeous view is available from every room in the house. The photos of the home are on point, and the home is clean and well kept. Julie was a wonderful host, and was a pleasure to visit with when we arrived. She was kind enough to walk us through the "how to's" in the kitchen to make sure we had a easy time of it while we were there and provided perfect instructions beforehand so we were able to locate the home with no problems. We also took advantage of the market in the village to make breakfast every day before heading for our daily adventure in the Highlands. I would definitely recommend this home away from home to anyone who is visiting this area.

Brilliant

Really enjoyed our stay as a family! Such lovely owners who made us so welcome. Would really recommend this cottage if you plan a family chilled out holiday or even if you need a holiday for a large family. We struggled to get accommodation for 6 of us plus a child, but this was ideal. We all loved it!

Beautiful,tranquil and stunning views

The property is beautiful,clean and comfortable,it has everything you need,we actually spent most of our time in the conservatory, reading chatting and enjoying the beautiful views, we didn't have the best of weather but our bichon frise Mak enjoyed the freedom of the garden and meeting the animals: the horse,the hens and the sheep.

We fell in love with Dunmore Farm on the first viewing, not only with the space and freedom it offered, but of course the magnificent panoramic view. Despite its peaceful setting, it is conveniently situated within 1.5 miles of the lovely village of Beauly with its many amenities and quaint square - the perfect location!

Rosemarkie beach is only 25 minute drive.

Travel:

Inverness Airport - 30 min drive.

Train station - Beauly 5 min drive.

Further Details:

The beautiful village of Beauly features many amenities such as banks, supermarkets, delicatessen, cafes, restaurants, gift shops, tweed shop, hairdressers, petrol station, park, river walk, as well as the historial Beauly Priory.

The Beauly and Glens Pipe Band and local Highland dancers provide evening entertainment on Thursdays throughout May-September, and Beauly Gala week (2nd week in July) offers a variety of events for both children and adults.

The annual Black Isle Agricultural Show is a main event on the calander in the first week in August and is only 2 miles from Dunmore Farmhouse.

Every day you look out the window there is something different to see, from the incredible sunrises to the changing landscape. Right on the doorstep there are lovely woodland walks and an abundance of wildlife from Mr Fox to the wonderful Red Kites which soar above the field on a daily basis. We feel very lucky indeed!
