About the property


This modern LARGE Sea View apartment is on the first floor up a wide staircase. Above is The Penthouse Apartment and the two can be booked together for a large families or group.

We manage the bookings so NO SERVICE FEE, even though OD show it on their price guide.

We prefer bank transfers, which are free, but we also accept Debit and Credit cards at a fee of 1.5%.

As this apartment is very large, you can bring a blow up mattress to accommodate an additional person. Please ask.

It is very light and spacious with full gas central heating and FREE Wi-Fi.

The large dinning kitchen includes a dish washer a washer dryer and a large eight seater dining table.

The lounge comfortably seats eight as it is approximately 14ft x 20ft. It has a 47” TV and DVD player and free sat, because the normal TV reception in Whitby is poor.

There is an excellent view of Whitby Football Grounds and some good sea views.

It has a luxury bathroom with DOUBLE SPA BATH and separate shower. There is en-suite shower room to main bedroom. An additional toilet and wash basin, making three toilets in all. A must for larger parties.

The main en-suite bedroom has a flat screen TV with free sat. All three bedrooms are large and there are two Super King beds, a King sized bed plus a single bed and they are all very comfortable.

The apartment is superbly located for all of Whitby's many attractions and it is within walking distance of everything Whitby has to offer which is important as parking is difficult especially in high season. It is about a ten min walk to the beach or just 200 yards to the cliff/beach lift . It is a five minutes’ walk to Whitby pavilion and Whitby leisure centre, and a five minutes’ drive to Whitby golf club.

We provide FREE Permit Parking for TWO cars opposite the Apartment. However your luggage/groceries can be unloaded from your car at the door so you don't have to carry it down the street unlike so many properties in Whitby.

Excellent Apartment in a Perfect Location

This apartment is situated perfectly with sea views and the beach less than 3 minutes walk just across the road.

Large, beautifully furnished with 3 big bedrooms, an excellent main bathroom, an en-suite and a well equipped kitchen.

All of this complimented by a really lovely lounge with 4 large settees giving plenty of seating options.

We rarely go back to a holiday home but we are already planning to re-visit this apartment.

One of the best holiday homes that we have ever rented.

Fabulous, spacious apartment. Perfectly placed.

This lovely apartment is perfect for families or couples wanting a comfortable spacious place to stay together in Whitby. The location is ideal as the beach is just across the road and the harbour and main shopping/eating areas only a ten minute stroll along the promenade which meant we did not need to move the cars at all while we were there.

We had some lovely meals out in the harbour pubs and of course the fish and chips here are highly recommended. We went to the fishermans wife which overlooks the beach and lighthouse as a change from the Magpie and the fish was lovely. We also tried out the nearby Chinese take away (literally a few doors down from the apartment) which was great. The children loved it here as much as we did, especially having such easy access to the beach for them.

The large beds were all extremely comfortable and everything was provided to make our stay perfect. A real home from home. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Whitby. The owners are lovely and very friendly. I can highly recommend the apartment.

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment . It is in such a perfect location , literally opposite the beach and an easy stroll into the town centre. The apartment is very spacious and has everything you could possibly need. We will definitely stay here again if we revisit Whitby and would definitely recommend to friends. Good sized apartment well equipped plenty of room for 7 of us to sit together whether in lounge or kitchen.Younger members of our family loved the spa bath,and the apt. has 3 toilets so never a problem.Nice walk into Whitby 5-10 mins would stay again.

Good value, spacious rooms.

The apartment is on the west cliff, a good location, nice views out to sea, very good being provided with parking vouchers for the duration of our stay and enough to cover all of the cars we had in our family group. The people in the area are sensitive to you parking to unload and load your luggage. Parking in the zones can be tricky. But if you wait until the day trippers leave you will get a good spot. A short walk into the main areas of town is easy. The apartment is spacious with a comfortable lounge for sitting and chatting or watching TV. The kitchen is a good size with fridge freezer, enough pots and pans, cutlery, dinner plates for us to prepare some nice meals in the evening for our party of 6 with a good size table we could all sit around for breakfast and dinner. Dishwasher is very handy. The Jacuzi bath is nice to use after the long coastal walk to Robins hood bay. The sink in the main bathroom is very slow to drain though. Three good size bedrooms. I would say a very comfortable apartment for our group, easy leaving the key in the box so we could all come and go as we pleased. easy to book and bank transfer, good value for money. Quick release of my deposit. If we have another family get together in Whitby I would certainly look for availability.
