About the property

Apartment in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote, Canary Island - Peaceful Location, Free wifi and full UK TV including BBC and ITV.

First (top) floor, 2 bedroom apartment with sea views and sun all day on the large terrace area. The apartment lies in a well maintained complex with gardens just a 2 min stroll to the many bars and restaurants in the casino area of Puerto del Carmen. The large beach of Playa Grande is just 5 minutes walk away. There is a newly refurbished shared pool with kids section, the perfect location to soak up some Lanzarote sunshine. There is a large sunbathing terrace around the pool area with plenty of room for everyone.

I travelled alone but Lesley made everything simple for me.

Absolutely loved it here - great location - pool, beach, bars, restaurants all close, weather fab, couldn't ask for more. Apartment is very comfortable and exactly what we wanted. Cant wait to come back!!!

I can't recommend this lovely apartment enough, it was clean, well-maintained, peaceful and had everything we needed. We had a fantastic holiday! So close to the beach and great restaurants and bars - we didn't have too far to go at all. And the pool is great for relaxing by on really lazy days!! We can't wait to come back again and would definately stay here!!

Excellent apartmnents. I would recommend these apartments to anyone. the only negative point was the beds they were extremely comfortable, but if you moved they creaked and groaned. They could do with new bed frames or divans. otherwise home from home.

Activity and Interests

There are many little sandy coves close at hand and the Playa Grande beach is a 5 mins walk away. There are 5 km of beautiful golden sandy beaches in Puerto del Carmen and they have many sports acitivies including pedalloes, snorkeling, scuba diving, water skiing and windsurfing to name but a few and a little further afield you can go sailing or big game fishing.


Arrecife airport is 10 mins or €15 in a taxi. Playa Blanca where you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura is 25 mins away by car. Costa Teguise with its golf course and water park is 20 mins by car. Tequise Market every Sunday is 25 mins by car.


Lanzarote has many tourist attractions including Timanfaya National Park with its volcanic rock is amazing to view, 20 mins drive. Hervideros near El Golfo where the ocean has made "holes" into the rocks and water spurts out of them, 15 mins drive. There are the Green Caves and the Cactus Gardens in the north of the island but there are many more interesting facets to Lanzarote for you to view for yourself.

Further Details:

There is a large supermarket 200 yards from the apartment. Puerto del Carmen has a large variety of bars, restaurant and cocktail bars basically on your doorstep. There are many banks and currency exchanges along the Avenida.

There are new bicycle lanes along the main Avenida and along the fabulous promenade which runs from San Antonio Hotel through to the capital, Arrecife.

  • Notes on accommodation: The property is on a secure gated complex with pretty private gardens. The pool and surrounding terraces are well maintained with adequate sun loungers. The apartment's terrace has full sunshine all day long. Outside: There is an outside terrace to the front of the lounge with views over the sea. and a lovely set of table and chairs for al fresco dining. The terrace area has sunshine all day. There is a shared pool and kids pool as you enter the property but the lounge area faces away from the pool so is very quiet and peaceful. Utility Room: There is a small utility room where you will find the iron and ironing board the mop and bucket, brush and pan set. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The apartment is cleaned weekly and bed linen and towels are also changed weekly. Guests staying for two weeks will have the apartment cleaned and bedding changed midweek. Beach towels are not provided. Other: There is a large terrace area outside the main lounge which has table, chairs and umbrella with lovely sea views.
