Coast/Beach:

Riells Beach 15 minutes walk. Cala Montgo Beach 10 minutes drive. Roses and L'Estartit 30 minutes drive. L'Escala has a number of lovely sandy beaches and coves, 1 of which is a blue flag beach

Travel:

Girona Airport 45 minutes drive. Barcelona Airport and Port 1 hour 45 minutes drive. Transport can be arranged from local airports. Car hire is also available from local airports

Distances:

Roses is just 30 minutes by car and has a lovely sandy beach and aqua park as well as many other attractions. The city of Girona is 40 minutes by car. Figueres and The Dali museum is just 20 minutes drive

Further Details:

Many restaurants, cafes, bars and local shops are all within walking distance. Numerous sporting activities including golf, go-karting, tennis, horse riding and diving along with almost all water sports are available in and around L'Escala. Land trains run from Montgo through L'Escala to San Marti and the Roman Ruins, dropping off at various beaches throughout the summer.
