Traditional studio apartment with sensational views of the sea and coastline. Located in beach resort of San Marcos which is 3 KM from the large market town of Icod de la Vinos and only 20 KM from the large resort of Puerto De La Cruz.
As mentioned we love the area, but the apartment is very special because of its convenience and breath taking views from the balcony (un-interupted Ocean views and down the coast). Its a 5 min walk (down!) to the beach but there is also a bus stop near to the apartment block, which passes every hour to the beach and the local town of Icod, also there is a supermarket 2 mins away.

Hi Christian, Just to say we're home now (grrr) and that we had a great time in your apartment. It was perfect for us, especially the sound of the sea and the fantastic view. Loved it. Your manager called by to see if we were ok, which was a nice touch and we very much appreciated the milk and bread. We enjoyed some great sunshine, spectacular drives and a night on Mount Teide. We stayed for 5 weeks. This apartment is excellet, suitable for 2 people, but can host up to 4 people. We had everything we needed -- beach, restaurants, shop, swimming pool, several places for walking or running. We are planning to go back. Communication was very good, without any problems. The agent helped us with everything. I would recommend to everyone who wants to have calm holidays.
5 stars for location - good bus service- clean - basic but all that you would want - lovely welcome pack. The studio was as Christian described. Thank you Christian and John really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon

“My parents discovered San Marcos and liked it so much, that they decided to live there when they retired. It has been like a second home to me and my family, so it did not take long to decide to buy in San Marcos. We have always found the area a little quieter and more Canarian than the South of the Island, which also means its a lot cheaper to eat and shop. Also, the local people are very friendly and helpful.”

Rambling is popular on Tenerife with its variety of flora, scenery (montane desert where Planet of the Apes was filmed) and wonderful sea views.
The studio overlooks the coast, which has sand and shingle and is good for sunbathing, swimming and snorkelling. A variety of bars and restaurants surround the beach which is 5 mins away. There is also surfing available at Playa Soccoro, which is a 20 min drive away.
Tenerife Sur has direct flights from UK and is about 80 minutes away.
Tenerife Norte is about 40 minutes away, with services from mainland Spain.
At both airports car hire is available, taxis can be arranged and there is a local bus service.
Icod de los Vinos is 3kms, Puerto de la Cruz, large resort, is 25kms, the capital Santa Cruz is 60kms away, Los Gigantes 50kms and Los Christianos is 90kms away.
There is a small supermarket within 2 minutes of the apartment.
