Traditional studio apartment with sensational views of the sea and coastline; if you like waking to the sound of the Atlantic Ocean, this is the place for you. Located in beach resort of San Marcos which is 3 KM from the large market town of Icod de la Vinos and only 20 KM from the large resort of Puerto De La Cruz.
As mentioned we love the area, but the apartment is very special because of its convenience and breath taking views from the balcony (un-interupted Ocean views and down the stunning coastline).
Its a 5 min walk (down!) to the beach, bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop near to the apartment block and the buses pass every hour down to the beach or up to the local town of Icod, There is also a well stocked small supermarket around a 2 minutes walk from the apartment.

My parents discovered San Marcos and liked it so much, that they decided to live there when they retired. It has been like a second home to me and my family, so it did not take long to decide to buy in San Marcos. We have always found the area a little quieter and more Canarian than the South of the Island, which also means its a lot cheaper to eat and shop. Also, the local people are very friendly and helpful.

Hi Christian, Just to say we're home now (grrr) and that we had a great time in your apartment. It was perfect for us, especially the sound of the sea and the fantastic view. Loved it. Your manager called by to see if we were ok, which was a nice touch and we very much appreciated the milk and bread. We enjoyed some great sunshine, spectacular drives and a night on Mount Teide. The property has an amazing view and is very good value for money. Lovely place to stay for a couple. San Marcos is quiet and the ideal place to chill but also ideally situated for holiday activities or touring the island.
John Lee the property agent is a lovely man: especial thanks John for rescuing us when we locked ourselves out of the property. Thanks also for the grocery supplies left for us on the first day.
We stayed for 5 weeks. This apartment is excellet, suitable for 2 people, but can host up to 4 people. We had everything we needed -- beach, restaurants, shop, swimming pool, several places for walking or running. We are planning to go back. Communication was very good, without any problems. The agent helped us with everything. I would recommend to everyone who wants to have calm holidays.
5 stars for location - good bus service- clean - basic but all that you would want - lovely welcome pack. The studio was as Christian described. Thank you Christian and John really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back soon

We have enjoyed our holydays in San Marcos very much. The apartment is nice with a lovely view on the sea. You have all you need and the owner and his agent are very friendly and helpful. I think, we will come for a second time.

Wer sich die Insel anschauen möchte, sollte am besten einen Mietwagen haben. Die nächste Disco ist in Puerto de la Cruz.

If you want to see the island, you should have a rental car. The nearest disco is in Puerto de la Cruz.

From the airport head North for Santa cruz, before Santa cruz (after 30-40 mins) take the exit Nord (north) at Santa maria del mar and head for the North airport and Puerto de la cruz, then follow signs for Icod and then exit for Playa San Marcos (80 mins) Follow the winding road down the hill past the apartment block called Lourdes on your left( where there is a good little supermarket) after next bend Monis is on the right and the apartment is on the entrance level to the right.
