Villa in Noordhoek, Cape Town, South Africa - Amazing Views Of Chapmans Peak, Peaceful Location Surrounded By Nature Reserve, Short Drive To Beach
Modern detached lakeside villa, near to Ou Kaapse Weg, surrounded by a peaceful nature reserve set in a secure development. Private jetty for fishing or use of boat. Private pool 7 x 3.5m, with pool cover, outdoor eating area with Weber BBQ. The villa is a 30 minute drive from Cape Town with its many attractions, 40 minutes from the airport, 15 minutes from Constantia wine areas and only away minutes from the start of the famous drive around Chapmans Peak towards Hout Bay, part of the well known Argos cycle race held in March. Westlake and Steenberg Golf Club are 15 minutes drive over Ou Kaaps Weg and Clovelly Golf club is nearby. Noordhoek is surrounded by gorgeous beaches - some wild and some ideal for family swimming (Fish Hoek), Kommetjie beach is a surfers paradise and great walks. Noorhoek village which is 5 minutes drive has some lovely restaurants and quirky gift shops. In the opposite direction is the long beach mall, great for food shopping and general goods. Non smoking.
We have 3 bedrooms - the main bedroom with ensuite bathroom and reaching views across the lake and patio doors leading out to the pool. The second bedroom is a very large twin room with plenty of space to put blow up beds for children with again - far reaching views across the lake and its own patio doors into the garden.
the third bedroom is a smaller twin room but still a good size. The family bathroom accommodates the second and third bedroom.
This property would suit two families with children but not eight adults.
The rest of the property is open planned with plenty of light and lots of room to find a quiet spot.
We have high speed internet fibre connection - a must for today's holiday makers.

About Trish Allen
It's now been 5 years since we bought our beautiful house in Noordhoek and have so enjoyed letting it to so many wonderful people from all around the world - as far as Australia and America and all over Europe and of course around the UK. As we are in full swing in our 2016/2017 season, we hope our new guests, and our returning guests have really enjoyed what we have had to offer and I hope you have enjoyed our little piece of paradise as much as we do! The South African pace of life, the food, the climate and value for money. Not forgetting of course the spectacular scenery!
As I write this in April - the temperature is still in the high 20's and even got to 30 yesterday! So why not think about visiting in April or May - its the Cape's best kept secret.
Look forward to welcoming you and for our repeat guests welcoming you back again.

What makes this villa unique
The property is light and open plan with all views heading out to the lake and beyond, towards the mountains. The villa is situated on a bird sanctuary, so many species to view and enjoy. It is modern and clean, tiled throughout. It feels fresh and very relaxing. Unlike other properties, it has the lake view and private jetty. It was built in the last 12 years with such thought to making the most of the location. The lay out of the house is exceptional with the communal rooms in the centre of the house and bedrooms on either side, making space and privacy for those who wish to 'get away' from the others on occasions! There are fans in the bedrooms and air conditioning in the main lounge and master bedroom, wi fi connection so your not too far away from the rest of the world if you have to!

great villa extremely well maintained and equipped will stay there again, because of layout well suited to 2 couples
Fantastic spacious villa
Wow - was the response when the family members came in the front door and had a look around! I had booked this villa for a family reunion of 5 siblings, where 3 couples stayed here, while the other 2 stayed down the road where my sister lives. It was ideal - everything one could need was in place, clean, ready to enjoy, including several good books!
The welcome from Joan was warm, friendly and helpful. It was great to be able to feed a crowd without running out of plates and cutlery! Too often self-catering places only have just enough dishes for the number of beds - so 10/10 for providing so generously that we could serve 12 people at a meal with no trouble.
The weather did not encourage us to use the pool, except on our last day. And time only allowed for one kayak excursion.
The local nursery has a lovely cafe - worth a visit. And further afield, Cape Point Ostrich Farm has a unique restaurant. Walking on the Noordhoek beach was most enjoyable.
Our 4 days were soon over - would highly recommend this property for families. A great location for relaxing or exploring the beautiful Cape peninsula.
It is the first time i have booked a villa and it actually exceeded it's description.
The wow factor when you walk in is wonderful. The views, the pool, everywhere i looked was private. Perfection.
The house is stunning, both in design and decor but still maintains a homely feel. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay.
I so enjoyed being able to entertain family and friends for a change instead of it always being the other way around.
Shops, car hire, restaurants and the Gym are all within 5 mins by car. The pretty Noordhoek village is close by, where, we went to eat most days. It was very reassuring to have Joan and Ernie on hand to help if we needed it and nothing is too much trouble. We were so comfortable i really enjoyed the days when we just stayed in and relaxed. The beach is beautiful and also close by. We were so impressed we have booked for 8 weeks next year.
Fantastic Holiday in Noordhoek
As soon as you enter the front door you see this property has class.
It had everything we needed, with the views across the lake to the mountain beyond quite special. We would have loved to return in 2017 but it was already booked on our dates. We can thoroughly recommend it and hope to return sometime.
Exceeded expectations in every way.......
We stayed on Lake Michelle for 10 days, a family christmas away from home. It was fabulous. The house is perfectly designed to enable an easy and relaxed holiday. It really is home from home. The two main bedrooms lead straight onto the pool and lake, the views are exceptional. The smaller room was ok for my grown up daughter, but would suit two children. The kitchen is well equipped and i liked the walk in pantry for storage. The appliances are quality, dishwasher, washing machine and Smeg fridge and range - it was simply easy. The property is well maintained and clean. The living space was bright, light, airy and comfortable. Outside the pool was clean and warm.
The location of the house is perfect for exploring the cape point. Only 5 mins from the beach, Noordhoek Village Farm and Long Beach Mall is close by for all shops. A short trip across the mountain to Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay, Simons Town, Boulders and the drive down to the Cape Point - fabulous.
All in all a safe, peaceful and stunning environment. The views of Chapmans Peak from the garden are beautiful. A peaceful and tranquil stay. Thank you Trish and Joan.
I would not hesitate to recommend this house for a perfect holiday in wonderful Cape Town. It was our 6th visit to Cape Town but my parents first visit and they absolutely fell in love with Noordhoek and the house.
2nd stay in a beautifully equipped and maintained property ideal location to tour Cape Penisula owner and her manager offer great friendly service we will definitely go back again

For the energetic, you can enjoy the long beach and Kakapo shipwreck walk from Noordhoek to Kommetjie.
