Situated in a quiet residential area in the village of Perran Downs, at Cornwall's narrowest point which is a stretch of just 6 miles. A five minute drive is all that distances guests from the south coast and the white sandy beaches at Perranuthnoe, Praa Sands and Marazion while a 15 minute drive will reveal the contrasts of the dramatic north coast. A central location for touring the far west and visiting the landmark attractions, and a convenient location for coastal and countryside pursuits, surf school and scenic coastal footpath within close reach. A popular pub and convenience store are within a 5 minute walk and there is off road parking for one car. The property can be used as either a twin or large queen size double.
Hiya-Myself, Karly, my partner Sam, and our 2 sons Dylan and Marley live at The Briars. We love living here because the house is light, airy and spacious, the area is quiet, but only a short stroll to the village. We are very much into the outdoors, Sam is a keen surfer, and our eldest son, Dylan, enjoys joining him too. We all love walking. We are in a fantastic location, for both keen surfers (with the south and north coast in close proximity) and walkers (just a short stroll will bring you down to the coastal paths of the stunning south coast).
Sam and I have enjoyed plenty of travelling before settling in Cornwall. We now spend our summers travelling with the boys-we really want them to enjoy the adventure and freedom that we so love. I am a yoga Teacher and Sam a carpenter.
We bought The Briars because of its spacious, light and airy feel. The location really suits us too. We are a short drive or a nice walk away from some stunning south coast beaches. Yet, during the peak holiday season, we are away from the hussle and bussle that a town centre position may offer. Goldsithney village is a 5 minute walk away, which hosts 2 popular pubs, a convenience store and a post office.
'The Briars' and 'Santosha' offer a sense of sunshine and space once inside. So, on less sunny days, you are able to still enjoy your holiday time indoors.

A nicely furnished flat, I stayed here with my six year old son. The owners are friendly and welcoming, a bottle of wine on arrival is a wonderful thought. The property is located in an ideal location, we where able to get to most places by traveling for only 30mins or so. There's many coastal walks to go on nearby. We travelled further afield and went to kaynance cove, lizard point, mullion cove, porthmier beach, porthleven. All places are recommended and have amazing beaches. We will certainly return, if they will have us again. 😃

A 25% non-refundable deposit or full payment will secure your preferred date. Full payment is required eight weeks before your holiday start date.
Also, we are flexible with dates outside of the peaks season, so please feel free to contact us if you require short breaks or a different arrival day.
To avoid traffic delays our changeover day is Friday, however we are fairly flexible with this, so we are open to all enquiries. Guests are welcome to arrive after 3pm and departure is required by 10am.
