A newly refurbished, contemporary apartment right in the centre of Morzine near the Town Hall and metres to all amenities and skiing. There are two well appointed double bedrooms (one with its own balcony) with luxury goose down bedding, Egyptian cotton bed linen and fluffy towels. A sleek fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher forms part of a wonderful and comfortable sitting room/dining area with balcony and views over to Mont Nyon. Fully equipped to meet your every comfort, the apartment comes with a large flat screen TV with Freeview Satellite channels, DVD player, iPod dock, and is always warm with plenty of hot water after a hard day's skiing. Off-street parking is right by the front door.

Why Rob Arber chose Portes du Soleil area

We had previously owned a chalet nearby and wanted a smaller centrally located apartment in Morzine. La Bevire fitted the bill because all amenities from great bars, restaurants, the main supermarket to 4 free bus routes to all the ski areas are all within 100 metres. We use La Bevire as much in Summer for great walking/hiking and open air swimming. Morzine puts on great entertainment all year round.

What makes this apartment unique

Right in the middle of town with the river close by means no disturbance from late night revellers. Three shops selling fresh bread within 100 metres. The two highly rated restaurants (Clin D'Oeuil & Vente des Anges) within 75 metres. Dixie Bar and Bar Robinson also 75 metres. Carrefour and Weekly Market 100 metres. Never walk more than 75 metres in ski boots - all the free Navette buses are that close.

A great, centrally located apartment

La Bevire is a very comfortable apartment in a great location. It's a short walk from the ski bus stop but only a 10-15 minute walk in ski gear from the main Pleney lift. The main supermarket, bars and restaurants are close by yet the apartment is surprisingly quiet. The Rhodos bar is near and a family favourite for when the football/rugby is showing.

La Bevire itself is clean, stylishly furnished & has good quality towels and bed linen. The wifi worked well for us & so did the Apple TV (which was a new addition this year). We tend to mainly eat out but when in the kitchen is well equipped and has the benefit of a dishwasher.

Rob, the owner, is extremely approachable & keen that visitors are well looked after.

We've now stayed at this apartment on three occasions and are planning to return.

Fabulous Stay 😊

We had such a lovely stay in your beautiful apartment, centrally located with the ski buses less than 75 m from the door. Clean and comfortable it was a real home from home with Sky TV, fast wifi, Apple TV for Netflix via your own device and a good selection of DVDs. The many bars and restaurants are a short stroll away although there is a well equipped kitchen should you wish to self cater and the supermarket nearby. There is ample secure ski storage on the ground floor and plenty of hanging space for ski wear in the vestibule area of the apartment. There is an excellent ski hire shop within the building. Pleasingly the living room area is spacious and unusually does not have a sofa bed crammed into it (so many owners would make this sleep 6).

Excellent, smart and well-appointed apartment

We had a very comfortable stay at La Bevire. Ideal for our needs, it is a smart, clean and well-appointed two bedroom apartment - all mod-cons including fast broadband. Excellent location for the centre of Morzine. Quiet, with only the sound of rushing water from the local river to awaken you. Although this was a summer stay (for walking, cycling and watching Le Tour) I can see it would be a great spot for skiing, close to lifts and the aprés ski in the town. Highly recommended - we will be back.

Great position and outstanding value for money!

Beautifully decorated, chic cushions and furnishings and very clean. Lots of little extras thrown in like basic condiments in the kitchen and coffee! Good area for storing ski equipment and toasty warm apartment when we returned from a day out on the slopes. Good area in the hall for hanging damp clothes and everything dried out over night. Lovely balcony - we had some sunny weather so it was great to sit outside, relax and watch the world go by! It is a fab spot for restaurants, bars and a well stocked supermarket. The food in the restaurants is outstanding and we had a great time at Le Clin D'Oeil - just across the street from the apartment, I would highly recommend eating there. We went to Dixie Bar a couple of times and saw a fantastic Irish band. We had breakfast in various cafes around the town and had good wifi connection in all except for when it was snowing!! The atmosphere in the town is very welcoming and to top it all off the ski hire shop is no more than 15 steps away from the entrance to the apartment block! The bus to the slopes is a short walk and the ski area is huge and brilliant for all levels. So all in all we had the best time and it was lovely being in a light modern apartment that was cosy, easy to keep tidy and clean!! That's why I think this apartment deserves ***** !

Travel:

Geneva Airport is an easy 1 hour drive/70km from Morzine. Regular, low cost flights are available. You can also catch the Snow Train from London to Aigle in Switzerland which is also 1 hour transfer. Many companies in the village offer good value, direct transfers, or there are regular coaches from Geneva Airport to Morzine, as once you are in Morzine you can do without a car if you wish!

Further Details:

There is a large and very well stocked Carrefour supermarket close by. There is a weekly Farmer's Market on Wednesdays. Morzine is a working village where you can find all amenities such as banks and shops. It has a wealth of lovely restaurants and fun bars. It also has two cinemas which regularly show English films. There are plenty of ski hire shops.
