A 2 bedroom spacious apartment with pool in complex, good sized well stocked kitchen. WIFI and UK Television included in the price. Air Conditioning and oil filled radiators for the winter months. Sunny aspect looking out to a park and walking distance to the beach. Various restaurants, supermarkets, Marina and the Playa Serena Resort. Bus services to the Gran Plaza shopping Mall and Waterpark. Longer stay lets available at very good prices.

About Debra & Gary Peck

We are married with a young son and live in England. We love the sunshine, enjoy holidays in Spain and decided to purchase a property in Roquetas de Mar, Almeria because we felt it was a very unspoilt Spanish resort. It has lovely long beaches, an array of restaurants and we enjoy long relaxing walks and cycling along the promenade which is minutes from our apartment. Almeria enjoys great weather for most of the year and it is great to visit and relax, recharge the batteries, in the warmth of the sunshine even in the winter months.

Why Debra & Gary Peck chose Costa de Almeria

On visiting Roquetas de Mar we immediately felt very relaxed and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. We liked the fact that although it is a developed resort, it is a relatively unspoilt and undiscovered region of Spain, which still maintains a traditional feel. It enjoys lovely weather for most of the year (335 days of sunshine a year). The resort is not overcrowded and has long beaches and a large and flat promenade.

What makes this apartment unique

The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the beach and has restaurants, supermarkets and other facilities which are all very close but still enjoys a tranquil atmosphere.

We have ensured that the apartment is well equipped for short and long term stays. It is on the first floor of a 3 storey complex and has 2 lifts and an intercom security system. The balcony is South facing and looks out to a park and there are two swimming pools in the complex.

Home from home

I recently enjoyed a weeks stay at this clean,well maintained apartment. The facilities available were easy to use and reliable especially the luxury of having English tv and quick running wifi. The apartment itself was spacious and in an ideal location-close to the beach,bars and amenities but quite enough to get a good nights sleep! Gary and Debbie provided a faultless service from booking to the end of the trip. I have and will continue to recommend this apartment to friends and family who are looking for a place to stay which feels just like home.

What a perfect apartment!

Just returned home from a wonderful holiday in this apartment. It had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Its location is great, literally a two minute walk to the beach and really useful supermarket. The beach is great, sunbeds with parasols only 3.50 euros a day and lifeguard on duty. Great bus service to the Gran Plaza shopping mall and Almeria too. Must recommend the Aloha bar - good food and service and unbelievably reasonable prices. Best of all Debra and Gary are so helpful and made the whole process so easy and stress free. The taxi they arranged was brilliant and felt very confident that they were available if we needed them. Thank you so much!!

perfect apartment

This apartment is in a perfect location. It is in a quiet area yet only a few minutes walk to some of the nicest tapas bars, ie aloha's and taskas, and the beach. There is a well stocked supermarket across the road and a good bus service just over from the front door. The apartment itself is great and has everything you need for a great holiday including an adult and a children's pool. We would have no hesitation in recommending this to our family and friends or indeed anyone who wants a relaxing holiday with all amenities close by. Thank you Garry and Debra for our wonderful stay in your lovely apartment.

We have just spent 3 lovely weeks in this apartment in Roquetas. It is situated in a quiet area of the town yet is surrounded by plenty of bars and restaurants and the sea front, all within 3 minutes walk! 15 minutes stroll along the beautiful promenade in either direction there is a lot more activity. The apartment is ideal with all the facilities you require. Gary and Debra are so helpful and we would recommend their apartment to anyone.

Nice little spot

A nice unspoilt area without all the commercial trappings of a holiday resort. But not far from the high life if that's what you want. Accommodation is nice and the extra touches like wifi, satellite TV etc. are good if you fancy a night in. A comfortable little apartment, nicely cared for, just what we were looking for. Local food prices are quite reasonable. Love the tapas culture!

Loved it - home from home

Great place to stay with my family / young baby.

We ordered a travel cot and took our tommy tippie microwave steriliser. Tip... You buy Bezoya mineral water out in the shops and can buy poweder aptimil from pharmacy.

Apartment on first floor with lift. Outdoor Car park is opposite and it is near Zoraida hotel, which you can use.

Just a stone throw from beach with lovely promenade (easy to walk with the pram).

San Rocco restaurant was a lovely Italian restaurant and my partner and I really enjoyed our meal there- very nice. Thats about a 5-10 min drive - turn right from apartment and head towards the Sabinal hotel and passed Sabinal and gorilla / play area for kids and keep driving.

Theres a small restaurant / bar opposite called Portimar or similar and the staff are extremely helpful and do anything for you (nice toasties and red wine there when you arrive late at night).

Apartment is quiet and residential area with a balcony looking over to small park and can almost see the beach. Near to water park, aquarium and lots of other things to do. Water Park and Aquarium turn left from apartment passed Gran Plaza (shopping centre).

Aguadulce was lovely with nice restaurants.

Nice, clean apartment and lots of things to do. My third time staying here and discovered more this time. WIFI is free in apartment, so great bonus.

Small hairdryer there, one double bed and two singles. Sofa is comfy for nights in watching a film / tv. DVD player there too and owners have supplied some.

We visited Oasys theme park. Head towards Almeria airport and then a sat nav should pick it up as an 'attraction' when you are near to almeria airport. Well worth a day out. Western film set and can have pictures with kids / fun for adults too, a brilliant zoo there and a swimming pool. Had a brilliant day out there.

It is always nice for us to hear that people enjoy/experience a lot of the areas of Almeria that we too enjoy visiting. Mini Hollywood is always a fab day out. The Resort of Serena (past the kids Gorilla play park) as you mention has so many more bars and restaurants to offer (for all budgets) and unfortunately some people could miss a visit there, if they didn't venture just outside of our apartments vicinity.
