Amazing apartment!!

We arrived in Cabanas and called Bev just before we arrived and she was there to meet us on arrival. Nice little welcome pack left with wine, milk, etc. Rooms and facilities were excellent, we enjoyed the huge balcony in particular and our 3 year old daughter was able to play away with safety as its enclosed. Security system was excellent also. And special mention to Bev and Paul for coming to our rescue after we locked ourselves out on the balcony!!! We would definetly return excellent location with a park across the road and a great little cafe also!

No complaints, brilliant holiday

We stayed at this apartment for 1 week - The apartment was immaculate, tastefully furnished and decorated and comfortably accommodated 4 adults, everything you need is there. We were also very happy with the location and found it easy to get around. We contacted Paul and Bev a couple of times during our stay and they were very helpful. We would definitely return to Cabanas and would not hesitate to book this apartment again.

Apartment was spotless and superb standard of accomodation, very private with a fantastic patio with very good furniture.

Superb choice of restraurants, the choice of food available is excellent.

Wonderful holiday

We stayed recently in Bev and Paul's lovely and immaculate apartment for 9 nights. The apartment is well situated, very well equipped and the terrace is an added bonus. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance of the apartment for those without a car, plus there are bus and train services close by. Bev and Paul were very helpful. We would certainly go back and strongly recommend this apartment to anyone.

A great property, well equipped in a lovely location.

We spent a very relaxing week in this lovely apartment. The apartment is comfortable, clean and modern with a spacious terrace. There are four pools within walking distance. The kids managed to have a couple of short swims despite the water being quite cold at this time of year.

Cabanas is a fantastic base for day trips out in the Algarve and to visit Spain. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance of the apartment for those without a car. The local beach is five minutes away by boat.

Paul, Bev and Paula were very helpful in organising arrivals, departures and in providing general information.

We would definitely like to return in the future.

We love Cabanas as it is not too commercialised, and enjoy the laid back atmosphere. There are great restaurants and bars where you can enjoy a quiet relaxed evening. The lovely beach is only a short boat ride away. Also Tavira is not too far away for a day out, which is easily reached by train, bus, taxi or water taxi.

The apartment is located 10 minutes walk from the waterfront where local boats take people to the 3km unspoilt beach of Cabanas through the day in season. The boat costs 1.50 Euros return (children under 8 are free).


Cabanas is approx 40 minutes drive from Faro airport. Taxis from Faro airport will cost approx 45 Euros each way. Although Transfer companies can be cheaper. There are regular bus and train services between Faro and Cabanas and the local area. The local train station in Conceicao is a 15 minute walk from the apartment. The Spanish border is 25 minutes drive away.

Cabanas has a number of small supermarkets, butchers, bakery, banks, hairdressers, local daily food market where most of your shopping can be bought or there is a large supermarket, Continente in the shopping centre in Tavira, where shopping can be ordered on-line for delivery.

Our apartment is a short walk to the many bars and restaurants, also the waterfront where you can get the small boat across to the beach. We have a large enclosed patio which is fully equipped with sun loungers and parasols for long lazy days and table and chairs for al fresco dining.The choice of 4 swimming pools on Quinta de Gomeira is also a benefit. We are close to a number of excellent Golf courses.

The apartment is no smoking and pets are not allowed. Air-conditioning units in each bedroom and the lounge, also provide heating in winter months are controlled by handset. Gas, electricity and water are included in the price. We have a hi-fi with docking station, also USB port. DVD player also has USB port for playing your own films. We have a large selection of DVDs and CDs for guest use. Outside: Access to the 4 shared pools is for residents on Quinta De Gomeira using the swipe card provided in the apartment. The patio is fully equipped with sun loungers, parasol and dining table & chairs for al fresco dining. Large barbecue. Utility Room: No separate utility room but washing machine is in the kitchen iron, ironing board, clothes airer, pegs are available, also washing line outside. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided. For guests staying two weeks or more a mid stay change is provided. Guests are asked to provide their own beach towels.
