A two bedroomed, two bathroomed south facing pueblo villa on an award winning private estate, 10minutes walk through the avocado orchard and cliff path down to one of Costa del Sol's finest beaches. Located on the edge of Nerja with views of the beautiful gardens, sea, mountains and countryside, 5 mins drive into Nerja.

The house is built on three levels, the landing to the upper bedroom overlooking the lounge/dining area.

The well equipped kitchen is lit by halogen lighting, having ceramic hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, electric kettle + board and opens up onto the terrace.

We are based in Lincolnshire where we both work, which means we cannot get to our holiday home in Nerja as often as we would like. For the times we cannot go there we let it out.

Our interests are walking, tennis, sailing, skiing and enjoying relaxing in Nerja.

Why Karen and John Goodliffe chose Oasis del Capistrano

We were drawn to Nerja by its unique atmosphere, a varied coast line with individual beaches, a good climate and a large variety of restaurants, tennis and walking open all year round.

In our opinion Oasis de Capistrano is the prettiest urbanisation in Nerja, with lovely swimming pools, surrounded by developed palm trees and tropical gardens, in a peaceful environment with no parking problems.

We were attracted to our house, with split level floors, two bathrooms, juliet balcony, views of the sea and sun on the terrace all day, important in the winter, but also with shade in the hot summer months. The terrace is private and not overlooked. The house has air conditioning in the bedrooms and living room, which also provides warm air heating. It has a fully equipped kitchen with dish washer, washing machine and microwave, together with free wifi.

What makes this house unique

The property is located on the edge of Nerja, with views of the sea and a romanesque adequaduct with lush countryside beyond. The beach, is just 10 minutes walk away through avocado orchards, and the centre of Nerja 20 minutes walk or by the local bus 5 minutes.

Shopping is close at hand with two well stocked supermarkets. The grounds of Oasis, which are built on the side of a valley, with a stream meandering through, has fish ponds, award winning gardens which give colour all year round. The established trees provide shade in the summer, and relaxing by the poolside beats many five star hotels.

'Perfect base for a relaxing Nerja stay'

Overall we had a wonderful stay at Casablanca 19 the apartment is lovely we really enjoyed having our own balcony with sun loungers - it gets the sun for the whole day.

'A really great family holiday'

This is a great house in a well designed development that has lovely gardens and a pool area plus bar/restaurant with very friendly staff.

In summary this is a wonderful place for a family holiday and heartily recommended. Our family's verdict is that it was the best rental home we have stayed in.

'Excellent peaceful break in a fantastic Spanish villa on a well kept complex.'

We have been to Nerja three times. Villa 19 and Oasis de Capistrano with its lush tropical surroundings is by the best place we have stayed at in Spain. The balcony is ideal sun all day and a wonderful view over palm trees to the sea. The accommodation itself is comfortable and has everything one needs to enjoy a luxury break.

Notes:
Notes on accommodation: The house is built to be naturally ventilating in the summer, but we do have air conditioning, which also provides warm air heating in the winter. There is a lot to do in Nerja but should you need it we have a flat screen TV with cable television with extensive European coverage which has all BBC and ITV channels plus Sky Sport, there is also a DVD player and stereo CD player with MP3 connection. Outside: The terrace is equipped with loungers, table and chairs and a built in barbecue. There is a large wind out awning and sombrero which provides shelter from the sun. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: The villa is cleaned for your arrival and is provided with towels, tea towels and bed linen. A change of bed linen is supplied weekly. Beach towels are not provided.

Excellent apartment and complex

Everything was great in terms of the accommodation and the complex. Nerva is a lovely place with plenty of good restaurants and bars. The beaches are not really suitable for small children as the waves can be quite ferocious, and the beaches incline quickly. The people were friendly.

The only down side was that the apartment was advertised with wifi, but it was not operational. I did e mail the owner who did not respond!

Very nice villa, well equipped and spacious. Grounds are absolutely stunning and very well kept.

We had an amazing time at this villa/complex. Swimming pools are very clean and maintened along with the stunning gardens. Short walk to the beach and to the local amenities. I would recommend the accommodation and stay at this villa again.

Special interest holidays:

Tennis is less than 10 minutes walk away and lessons are available at the tennis club. Petanque and Bowls are played locally. Water sports, scuba diving, swimming, golf, horse riding, sailing, fishing can all be arranged locally.

Coast/Beach:

Burriana beach is a 10 minutes walk away down a path and track through avocado orchards. Nerja has a number of different beaches each with its own character, but there are also many coves and secluded beaches within minutes drive along the coast.

Travel:

Malaga airport is only 55kms away, and by car Nerja is easy to reach, the road being dual carriageway all the way. Car hire is recommended, although a number of people have stayed without a car. We can arrange local transfers.

Distances:

Nerja centre is only 5 mins by car or local bus. the bus stop is on the main road adjacent to Oasis. The walk into Nerja is centre takes about 20 minutes .

Nerja caves, spectacular series of underground caverns is less than two miles away, and a short drive into the mountains is the whitewashed village of Frigiliana, completely Moorish in its character and considered one of the prettiest villages in Andulcia. Granada and Alhambra, one of the famed 7 wonders of the world are 90 mins drive away

Further Details:

Nerja is located between Almijra mountains and the sea and is relatively unspoilt, fisherman still launch there boats from the small local beaches and the town is virtually unchanged by tourist, with narrow winding passages and white washed house. There are many restaurants offering a wide variety in cuisine. Nerja has plenty of small local shops together with a variety of supermarkets. In the centre of the town there are several banks.

Oasis de Capistrano is situated in beautiful private estate, and has won many awards for its design of white washed properties connected by meandering paths. The fully established gardens are tended by a team of gardens and looked after by security night and day. They present pleasant and peaceful surroundings with fish ponds and a shaded stream. There are three swimming pools each with toilets and loungers, one of the pools is for children. There is a life guard present during the busy season, the main pool, children's pool and petanque courts are less than 100 meters walk through the every flowering gardens.

There are restaurants near to the urbanisation, and in summer there is a bar by the swimming pool.

Change over days from June to September are generally Saturday to Saturday, but we try to be accommodating within reason
A non refundable deposit at the time of booking with a full balance due 8 weeks before the time of travel.
There is a supplement of £80 per week over Christmas and New Year.
Electricity is provided in the rental price from March to October but to control usage the a/c is on a meter during those months. During November to February, electricity is paid for on the amount used. Wood pellets are available locally for the burner or delivery can be arranged.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is generally Saturday to Saturday (from June to September). At other times our change over days are flexible.
There is a supplement of £80 per week over Christmas and New Year.
