Andy Moore: I was looking for a place where I could find peace, nature, beach, mountain and have fun, all together, and I really found it in this beautiful accommodation in the middle of Andalucía!! You have the very best monuments and typical places in only one hour by car but also you can rest and relax in the middle of the nature and enjoy the spectacular views of the Lake of Iznájar. It was a unforgettable stay.

Fantastic villa, huge terrace, and magnificent views over the lake. Surrounding scenery also fantastic. Holiday villa situated in the "real Spain". Domingo and his family really looked after us and made it home from home. Also he owned the local restaurant "Casa Juani" excellent and very friendly service. Defo going back next year. Iznájar, typical Andalusian village with whitewashed houses and steep streets, decorated courtyards with flowers, crowned by the Moorish Castle with his name, is one of the villages in Cordoba who is lucky enough to enjoy the stunning Lake Andalucía. It is located in the Natural Park of La Subbética and there are a variety of cultural activities, festivals and traditions such as the procession of “La Virgen de la Piedad” during the festivity called “Feria Real”, typical Christmas, parties of their different small villages, the Holy Week where townsfolk come together to present a religious theatrical epic with key scenes from the bible and the crucifixion. etc.

Coast/Beach:

Lake Villa House is located next to the Lake of Iznájar, the beach of the lake is about 3 km to the beach and in about one hour by car is the nearest coast called "La Costa del Sol" (Málaga).

Travel:

There are two airports in about one hour by car from the house: one located in Granada and the other in Málaga.

The nearest port is located in Málaga in about one hour by car.

Distances:

About in one hour you can go to Córdoba and visit The Mosque or the Alhambra in Granada, two of the most famous historical monuments of the south of Spain. You can visit the Spain square in Sevilla or go to Antequera (Málaga) and see "El Torcal",natural area, which contains one of the most impressive samples karst landscape across Europe or you can go to Ronda one of the most picturesque and typical place of Andalusia.

Our accommodation has a privileged location, away from the noise and in the

countryside, enjoying endless days of sunshine, a pleasant climate most of the year which ensures a comfortable stay just to relax, have fun and soak magic and more typical Andalusian culture. It is next to the village of Iznájar with lots of restaurants and bar around where you can taste the typical local cuisine with its famous tapas, fine wines and the healthy mediterranean diet.
