About Carol Savage
Hi there. We live in the UK near Birmingham and have always loved Turkey visiting many times over the last 20 years. In 2012 we decided to purchase a house in Dalyan after discovering it's delights whilst holidaying there.
Carol Savage purchased this villa in 2012
Why Carol Savage chose Lycian & Turquoise Coast
Dalyan is one of the most idyllic areas on the Turkish Aegean. Full of history and largely unspoilt by the progress of time. It's location, only a half hour drive from Dalaman airport means there is no long arduous journey once you arrive in Turkey - one of the criteria we set before purchasing the property. The beach is a pleasant boat trip down the river or a dolmus bus ride. Three miles of unspoilt, protected beach greets you where you can swim, paddle in the safe shallow waters or sunbathe in the glorious Turkish sun. Venturing further afield there are plenty of excursions to tempt you, including the mud baths or the ancient ruins or even a trip to nearby Rhodes. There is car/scooter/motorbike or pedal power to hire if you want to plus the local buses, boats or taxi.
What makes this villa unique
Our house has a south facing garden that enjoys sun all day long and a private pool just a few steps away from the covered veranda where you can cool off from the midday sun.

This villa was lovely it was immaculately clean and very well equipped. The pool was lovely and the gardener was very helpful. It is about a 10 minute walk but as it is so hot on some days we got a taxi to town only costing 15 TL eating out in dalyan there are many places we ate at green cottage yeners bistro blue efes bar ley ley kosher but I have kept the best to last the lime restaurant this is a must staff are lovely and food is outstanding. Just a tip a lot of the restaurants will pick you up and even drop you back off if you are not staying out free of charge we did not realise this until our second week. Dalyan is a very safe place to go to and the turkish people are so helpful and friendly. Carol and Graham are very helpful with any of your enquires and I would like to thank them for letting us rent theit gourgeous villa.
fab place to stay
Stayed at this great villa with two friend for two weeks in Jul 2016.
What a lovely spacious villa in a quiet area. Spotlessly clean and everything you could want is provided.
Great pool and loungers, lovely gardens all round. Two great outdoor seating/eating areas.
Just a nice walk into town for shops and restaurants.
Carol is very helpful with all you need to know.
Will be returning soon.
Fantastic place to stay
We had a fantastic stay at this villa, it was clean and had everything you could possibly need! The pool was a must have and helped us cool down on those ultra hot days. Dalyan itself was great and there were plenty of things to do for all of us. We took our 3 year old daughter and she had a great time and loved having the pool also. We would love to go back and will definitely be in touch with Carol and Graham again.
Beautiful Villa in a Beautiful Place
Lovely modern Villa with everything you could possibly need, the description on Owners direct is as what you will find when you arrive, Dalyan town centre is a 10 Minute walk away with 4 supermarkets to cover all your needs if you don't fancy dining out every day in one of the many restaurants you will find around Dalyan. The property was very clean and maintained to a high standard, I would recommended this property to friends and family and have already, Graham & Carol where a pleasure to deal with and very informative about the property and the surrounding area so do yourself a favour and book up this Villa if its available.
We arrived at villa Savvi gone midnight turned on the lights and were pleasantly surprized how spacious and well laid out this 2 bedroomed villa is it has everything you could possibly need. In the morning we awoke to a beautiful sunny warm day, we made breakfast and ate on the spacious patio overlooking the pool which has recently been built surrounded by lovely gardens, it was so peaceful. Villa Savvi is a 10 minute stroll to town. The great thing about Dalyan is you can be as busy or as laid back as you want to be. The Turkish people are so friendly. We would like to thank Carol and Graham for allowing us to stay at your gorgeous villa.
Pauline and Duncan.
We were looking for a relaxing break in September 2014 and found this in Villa Savvi. Located a short walk from the town centre, villa had everything we wanted. Fantastic pool and surroundings to lap up the sun and shady areas for the midday heat. Villa was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Carol and Graham gave us all the local knowledge to ensure we enjoyed our stay, including arranging our transport to and from the airport. Ideal place to relax and explore the beauty of Dalyan area. Efes bar was a favourite in the town, and make sure you go to the Olive Restaurant, great food at a reasonable price.

Activity and Interests
Approx 7km to beach by boat or dolmus (local bus). 3 miles of unspoilt protected beach, famous for it's sea turtles.
Dalaman airport approx 30 mins away by taxi.
Gocek, Fethiye & Olu Deniz within easy reach by bus (dolmus) or taxi. Regular markets in Dalyan (Saturday), Ortaca (Friday).
Great local restaurants and bars with freshly cooked food inc Turkish specialities. Dalyan remains a relatively small town with strict building restrictions that keep it's character intact as a River town. Don't expect an abundance of discos and nightclubs (although there a couple at the far side of town from our house) but do expect a very friendly welcome with loads of interesting places to visit. We love the place and that's why we bought our house there. We think you'll love it too!
