About the Owner

My name is Sharon, originally from Australia but I have lived and worked in Chelsea for over 16 years and I know London, Chelsea and the surrounding area well. I also have two teenage boys who grew up in Chelsea, so I understand the needs of travelling families. My partner owns the hotel across the road from the apartment so this is another contact for our guests. We love London and do our very best to make sure our guests have a comfortable enjoyable stay.

Great place to spend the week in London

  • 5 of 5

This location was perfect for our trip to London. It was on a quiet street but there were restaurants and shops just two blocks away. We were able to catch busses at the top and bottom of the street to get us anywhere we needed to go, even to the tube stations. The apartment was roomy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed for the week and the washer and dryer were a plus. Friends that traveled and stayed in hotels complained about how small their rooms were so we felt lucky to find such a great location for our vacation.

A really comfortable, well appointed and spacious flat, packed with everything for a great holiday

  • 5 of 5

We had a great time, the flat made a fantastic base for exploring, its 15 minutes walk to Battersea Park, 15 minute walk down the King's Road to the nearest Tube station. The bike stop is right behind the house so we cycled everywhere. The flat was much bigger than we had thought, with two very large bedrooms and loads of space for us all. There was everything we needed for the holiday and loads of extras; guidebooks, DVD's, books, magazines, maps and a lovely welcome with team, milk, jam and bread all ready for us to settle in. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it very highly.

Excellent home base

  • 5 of 5

Sharon was so gracious in allowing our family of 6 to rent her flat, at the last minute when our house hunting left us without a home. It is the little things that make a rental house great - soap for the laundry and dishwasher, food in the fridge, clear directions for the property and a kind and friendly owner who is accessible and easy to communicate with. Sharon was fantastic to rent from. The location of the flat is great, easy transport by bus and tube all over central London. Walking to Battersea park is a fun outing with kids - not touristy but a fun way to spend a sunny afternoon. The shopping along king street and sloane street is fantastic!

Excellent family sized property

  • 5 of 5

On arrival Sharon had supplied us with the essentials, eggs, bread, butter, milk tea and coffee, plus in the cupboard, oils salt and pepper, which was greatly appreciated. The accomodation was spotless and loads of room for the six adults in my family. Great location, lovely sitting out area. Hopefully will be able to book it for the same time next year. Thanks Sharon.

Location

From the Owner

I bought this apartment because I love Chelsea, an exclusive area of London. It is 2 minutes walk from the Kings Road with shopping, restaurants, 2 cinemas and the occasional sighting of the area's celebrity residents! Many buses take you to Sloane Square and South Kensington tube stations (10-15 minutes walk) with direct links to the West End and Oxford street shopping. There are three supermarkets five to ten minutes walk away. The Thames River is 2 minutes walk with scenic river walks. Peaceful Battersea park is just across Albert Bridge for walks, jogging, children's playground, boating lake in summer or relaxing in the lakeside café. It is also an ideal location for the Chelsea Flower Show, the Natural History and Science Museums and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
