Apartment in Chlorakas, Paphos, Cyprus - Peaceful And Quiet Location In A Small, Gated Community Just 50 Metres From The Sea

This superb apartment (80 sq metres) is situated right next to the seashore with magnificent views out over the Med. Sea. It is part of a small gated community with a lovely communal pool at its centre. It has 2 bedrooms and sleeps 4. It has a generous sized balcony for eating alfresco, sun-bathing or just gazing out to sea. Below the apartment there is a dedicated covered car parking area (ideal for keeping the car out of the sun!) together with a large store-room containing buckets, spades, footballs, etc. Along the seashore there are excellent walks in all directions.

What a great holiday we've just returned from in Cyprus (Sept/Oct 2011), a great time of the year, weather still hot but not those steamy nights! The apartment was just perfect, everything you could possibly want or need, great location, fabulous views, lovely pool and a bar not too far away for a stroll out in the evening although we would recommend a car to get the "hub" of things. This was by far the best apartment we have stayed at in the Paphos area and we've been coming to Cyprus for the last 16 years! Can't wait to make it 17...

Recommended for: Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Fantastic holiday

This apartment was ideal for our 2 week family holiday. Great base near Paphos but away from crowds. (It would be difficult without a car however - though very convenient bus service to Pahos/Coral Bay). Apartment has everything we needed from the basics to plenty of CDs/DVDs for entertainment when it was too hot to go out, plus pool/beach equipment etc. Pool area excellent and used every day.

We wanted a holiday home close to the sea but in a quiet location.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Paphos Airport at 15 Miles Nearest Golf : Several golf courses in the area at 5 Miles Nearest Motorway : Paphos-Limasol/Nicosia Motorway at 5 Miles Nearest Restaurant : Pendaras Restaurant at 400 Metres Nearest Ski : at 200 Metres Nearest Beach : at 50 Metres Car: recommended

Coast/Beach:

This apartment is located right on the rocky shoreline. One hundred metres away is a small fisherman's cove where you can watch the boats come and go. One hundred metres in the opposite direction is a small pebbly beach. The nearest sandy beach is 1 km away.

Travel:

Paphos Airport (modern and small) is 15 km away.

A car is recommended. However, there is an excellent bus service (nearest bus stop is 700m) with a standard cost of 1 euro for any trip.

Distances:

Centre of Paphos is 7 km away.

Coral Bay Resort is 8 km away.

Further Details:

Arcadia Village is a delightfully small development right on the coast. It is ideal for a nice quiet holiday. There is one bar (The Dimma Bar) within walking distance which will have all the major sports events on TV. The Pendaras restaurant nearby (400m) has an excellent reputation and often has live music.

Changeover Day:

The walks along the coast are superb - in both directions. The views from the apartment (and balcony) are wonderful. There are some lovely restaurants nearby but nothing beats a meal on our balcony looking out to sea!

Notes:

  • This is a non-smoking apartment. No pets allowed. Well behaved children are welcome. There are lots of games - for all ages. In the store room there are inflatables, footballs, tennis rackets, beach-tennis, etc. Music - CD Player (with library of 200 CDs - all tastes catered for (Classical, Pop, Rock, Jaz, Folk, Country, etc.). There is even an acoustic guitar for you to play and relax with! Outside: There is a spacious (15/16 sq m) balcony with superb views both out to sea and up into the hills. There is a garden table, 4 chairs and a large parasol. The balcony is south facing so it gets the sun all day long. Even in winter sun-bathing is possible. There are 4 sun-beds available for your exclusive use. Usually, 2 are kept on the balcony and 2 for use by the lovely communal swimming pool with its Roman steps (but feel free to move them around!). Cycling - Bikes can be hired by the day from the nearby Akti Hotel. Utility Room: Storage room at the back of the garage are where pool equipment, sun loungers, toys, inflatables, etc. are stored. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen provided. The apartment is thoroughly cleaned before each arrival. An intermediate clean can also be arranged for a small extra charge
