This idyllic stone built 17th Century Cottage, 4 bedroom property, is less than 1 minute from the village centre, accessed through a 'secret passage' and yet tucked away in a 'hidden' street, that enables the garden to become a quiet sanctuary from the lively village life. The 5 bedroom layout allows maximum flexible sleeping arrangements. The property includes many original features, including Yorkshire stone floors in the kitchen, original exposed beams and open fire in the dinning room. The mature and well stocked garden benefits from sufficiently high garden walls to ensure privacy, yet big enough to enjoy the sun all day round. There is off road parking for two cars and the owners are happy to welcome one well behaved pet, making this the most perfect family vacation. Booked as a surprise birthday gift for our mum and she loved turning up to find the entire family hiding in the front room!

Lovely house with plenty of room for us 8 adults and the 2 kids.

Good size garden for the dog and parking was no issue for 4 cars, even though it was the 1940s festival weekend.

Highly recommend a visit to Grassington and a stay here. We are now trying to find dates we can all go again!

Paul (owner) has been contactable and helpful throughout the booking and afterwards.

a lovely find!

The house and garden were great - ideal for a big family get together with plenty of space. Great location in the middle of grassington and easy to get everywhere. We even had lots of sunshine! Heed the advice and take your slippers... Those stone floors are cold! Our only criticism was that the previous visitors must have had a dog that they didn't clean up after. We spent the first couple of days clearing all the dog poo off the lawn before we could let the kids play on it. Please clean up after your dogs!

W e love this house because it is set in the heart and hub of the Yorkshire Dales; Grassington is a vibrant village with all the amenities in the village; yet literally on the front door is access to the great outdoors; with great walks and mountain bike routes to explore.
