Villa in La Fustera, Calpe, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Peaceful Location Close To Beach, Golf Course, And The Popular Market Town And Fishing Port Of Calpe

Discounts can be offered depending on time of year please enquire. Situated in a very quiet part of La Fustera which is 6 Kilometers from Calpe Town Centre. A 20 minute car journey will find you in the beautiful area of the Jalon Valley where Grapes, Lemons, Oranges and Almond Groves abound. The villa is typically Spanish and furnished very comfortably. We have just installed a new kitchen with granite worktops.

I live in England with my partner. We both work, but spend most of our holidays in Spain, where we have made many friends. We hope that whoever rents the villa will have as much enjoyment as we do each year.

Why John Blick chose Altea Area

I built the villa for my Mother and Father so the property has been in my family for many years. It has therefore a quintessentially Anglo/Spanish character. We are fortunate that over the years we have made a lot of friends a few of which we are fortunate to have living just down the road so it is great to visit them when we get the chance.

What makes this villa unique

We have always found the villa a great place to go and relax and unwind. What with its tranquil and quite surroundings the villa is a fantastic place to leave behind the hustle and bustle of the world. It is our second home so we have tried to furnish it with as much care as our home in the UK but also retaining its Spanish feel.

Large villa loads of space and decent pool.

Large villa in quiet location in alta mira urbanisation. Remote control gates to parking area, everything in villa you'd expect plus large lovely pool. Big soft chairs in lounge with TV (no sky) good size well equipped kitchen, couple of bathrooms. Only one negative was no air con but all rooms had ceiling fans .. very pleasant stay

Coast/Beach:

A gorgeous award winning Blue Flag sandy cove at La Fustera is 20 mins walk and has a great restaurant/bar, picnic area, children´s play area, car park and all facilities. With paddle boards available for rental. The beach is patrolled throughout the summer by local lifeguards. There is also access to some lovely coastal walks from here, and the larger beaches at Calpe & Moraira are 10 mins drive.

Travel:

Alicante is the nearest airport approximately 1 hour´s drive. Valencia is 1hr 15 mins drive. Car hire is recommended. "Door to door" driving instructions will be provided.

Distances:

CALPE (10 mins drive south): Rock of Ifach (bird/wildlife sanctuary), Las Salinas salt lakes where you can see pink Flamingos, the Port area for fantastic fish restaurants, and large sandy beaches which stretch out either side of the Rock.

MORAIRA (10 mins drive north):Beautiful sandy beaches, excellent selection of bars/restaurants, pretty harbour, shopping area including a market on Friday mornings.

Benidorm (30 mins drive South) All you would expect from a major resort.

Further Details:

LA FUSTERA: Great beach, supermarket, banks, a number of restaurants/bars even a chinese.

Local activities include water sports, boat trips, golf, tennis, cycle hire, horse riding, fishing, and go-karting.

Other places to go:

ALTEA 20 mins drive: An old historic town with good restaurants & shops. Lovely market on Tuesday mornings.

GUADALEST: A mountain village 25kms inland from Benidorm - The views are stunning making it one of the most photographed in the world.

BENIDORM 30 mins drive: All you would expect from a major tourist resort, fantastic beaches, and nightlife. Other attractions include Terra Mittica Theme Park, Terra Natura Wildlife Park, & Aqualandia water park for great days out.

A deposit of £250 is required to secure your booking this will be held as damage security and will be refunded to you once the villa has been inspected at the end of your visit and we are in reciept of the keys. The final balance is payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday (GB£ only)

Cancellation charges are as follows:
Up to 8 weeks- no cancellation charge
4-8 weeks 50% of the rate is refunded
2-4 weeks 25% of the rate is refunded
Less than 2 weeks- no refund

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are flexible.


Arrival is after 2pm and departure 10 am unless otherwise agreed with the owners.

Notes:

  • Notes on accommodation: Smoking is not permitted inside the villa, but allowed outside. There are ceiling fans in the lounge/diner, and all the Bedrooms. Mosquito screens are fitted to all windows throughout the villa. Outside: Great private pool shallow at one end & 2m at the deep end. The pool is surrounded by a large sunbathing terrace bathed in sunshine all day, and there are plenty of sunbeds & a parasol available for your use. Utility Room: The utility room has a washing machine, iron and ironing board. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Included in the price is cleaning before and after your stay, and towels & bed linen with a weekly or mid-term change for bookings in excess of 9 nights.
