This 16th Century Farmhouse is one of Weymouth's oldest buildings. Now a modern spacious family home it is best placed for a luxurious stay. Four double bedrooms (master en-suite) plus two family bathrooms make this ideal for families or couples who want the luxury of a spacious holiday home. Property boasts fully fitted and equipped kitchen. Large open plan lounge/diner. 46" Wall mounted plasma T.V with surround sound, Sky Plus, DVD player and a choice of over 200 DVD's. Two large leather sofas both with electric reclining chairs. Perfect for relaxing. Large wood burning open fire. The garden is a joy and has a BBQ and a fantastic hot tub. Perfect to unwind in with a drink or two at the end of the day.

About the Owner

Hi. We are Julie and Terry Tucker and we have lived in the Farmhouse since 2003.

We have let the Farmhouse since the Olympics in 2012 and have continued successfully since.

We stay in the Weymouth area whilst the house is let so we are only a stones throw away if you need us at all during your stay.

We also personally meet all our guests to show you around the Farmhouse and to answer any queries you may have.

Visitors to the Farmhouse are always pleasantly surprised to find such a beautiful building so close to town and all it has to offer. Its access to town is very convenient being only a short stroll to the seafront Parking for two cars (one in front of the other)

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Exeter at 50 Miles Nearest Beach : Car: not necessary


Weymouth's award winning blue flag sandy beach is a pleasant flat five minute walk away. During the Summer it is alive with activity and features the award winning sand structure display and the famous and one of only two left Punch and Judy shows. Also donkeys for the children and many eateries along the esplanade. The world famous Chesil Beach is approx a ten minute drive away.

Weymouth's pretty harbour where fishing and leisure craft moor together is approx 15/20 minute walk away.


We offer two car parking spaces one car in front of the other, but as we are so near to town you may find you tend to leave them here during your stay.

Nearest airport is Bournemouth which is about 45minutes drive away and the nearest channel port is Poole also about 45minutes drive away


Weymouth is at the edge of the World Famous Jurassic Coast. Explore the surrounding countryside where you will come across quaint Dorset villages with pubs serving local ales and a vast local menu. Popular attractions include Monkey World, Tank Museum and Lulworth Cove all within a short drive. Only 30min drive to West Bay (Broadchurch)

Dorset is also Hardye country and the Thomas Hargye cottage is open to visitors in the Summer months. Located in Dorchester which I s only a short drive away.

Further Details:

The local shops for your every day needs are only approx 500 yards away and include Tesco Metro, a Post Office, laundry, local pub and several take away outlets. The four big banks all have branches in the town. The local supermarket (Morrison's)is approx a mile away. This also has a dry cleaning shop, pharmacy and café. The town boasts many shops including Debenhams and Monsoon as well as local specialist shops. The Hotel Rembrandt which is only 100 yards away has a leisure centre, bar and restaurant that is open to non-residents.

Booking Notes:
A deposit of £200 is required at time of booking or in full if less than eight weeks before arrival. We advise that holiday cancellation insurance is taken. If we can re-let after a cancellation is made we will refund all monies paid providing we can re-let for the original booking period.
We also require a £200 breakages deposit which will be returned no later than seven days after departure reliant on a satisfactory check-out. See changeover day info for more info.

Whoever signs the booking form is signing on behalf of all guests. Only names listed on form should occupy premises.

In the Farmhouse you will find evidence of its history with its exposed wooden beams and pulley system at the side. Although a old property it has all the mod cons we are so used to for modern living. The hot tub is a blessing after a hard days holiday making with its wooden half covering with stained glass inlets.
