About Anne Corstorphine

Anne and John have lived in Pebworth for 12 years and love the location being on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Stratford upon Avon and just a short drive to the main London / Paddington rail line. "We simply have the best of all worlds" says Anne. Enjoying the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, the RSC theatre on the doorstep but easy access to London and the Midlands by rail or road. Pebworth is where 3 counties meet, Gloucester, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Wonderful!.

Why Anne Corstorphine chose Stratford-Upon-Avon area

The owners fell in love with Pebworth having enjoyed a weekend retreat here for 5 years. The Coach House sits within the beautiful garden of Pebworth Manor, their now permanent home. With 35 mile views across to the Malverns, "it is a home that feeds the soul" says Anne. We remember arriving in Pebworth often at the end of a busy working week, the shoulders go down and we could relax immediately. We are now work at creating that blissful safe haven feel for stressed out weekenders and staycation holidaymakers. The Coach House benefits from a private location and has off road parking.

"This location offers peace and tranquility as a balance to a ‘full on’ work environment. A great place for a week away or Friday night weekend retreat. Just put your feet up, pop the cork and settle down to relax before awaking refreshed to explore the surrounding countryside, beautiful Cotswolds villages and maybe a visit to RSC theatre in Stratford Upon Avon."

The Coach House also has private parking and not located on a roadway, factors that have been a big plus for some holidaymakers.

What makes this cottage unique

The property has been recently extended into the adjoining stable creating a fabulous ground floor bedroom and shower room. A further bathroom has been created in what was originally a bedroom adjoining the double bedroom in The Coach House. We have added a fireplace and log burner and increased the Kitchen 100% to provide a fabulous friends and family weekend/holiday home.

Beautifully decorated, clean and we'll appointed.

  • 5 of 5

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to explore Stratford upon Avon or Warwick Castle and other local Cotswold local villages. The Coach House is tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. The owners, John and Anne, were just lovely; they gave us a warm welcome and made us feel very at home. We enjoyed use of their beautiful garden and the welcome basket on arrival is just what you need! We highly recommend staying here and intend to return ourselves.

We can't wait to stay again

  • 5 of 5

Anne and John were fantastic hosts. The house and gardens are spectacular. The rental really had everything you needed for a stay and it was very thoughtfully laid out. Plenty of room to unpack your belongings and a well stocked kitchen. The bed was comfortable and towels plentiful. The cottage was very stylish and made us very relaxed. Everything was clean and in great condition. We especially enjoyed having the run of the garden for our two young sons. They were delighted to be able to see the sheep so close and we felt comfortable and safe with having them out there. The welcome basket was a particularly nice touch that helped start out our time on the right foot.

We enjoyed the area which was easy to get around and the cottage was centrally located to many points of interest. Anne and John's suggestions were spot on. We've stayed in many rental houses and this is one of the very best. Our only regret is that we didn't book more nights.

Delightful accommodation, beautiful gardens, warm welcome from owners. Peaceful, relaxing setting.

  • 5 of 5

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this beautiful Coach House which offers tasteful, spacious and high spec accommodation. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and a sincere invitation to enjoy their beautiful gardens. They made it clear that we could contact them any time (we did not need to) but gave us complete privacy and the tranquil surroundings made it a perfect place to relax. The welcome basket was very thoughtfully chosen and delicious. There are many interesting places to visit in the area and excellent pubs and restaurants. Recommendations from the owners were spot on. The location is rural and calm but there is a lot to do within a short drive. It was just the break we needed - wish we could have stayed longer.

Delightful Bolthole

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent a blissful week here in June 2017. The property is of a very high quality, extremely well equipped and well placed for a break in the Cotswolds - particularly close to the very pretty towns of Broadway and Chipping Camden.

Owners Ann and John made us very welcome but also allowed us our privacy - just the right balance of there if required but not if not.

I couldn't recommend it highly enough and we will almost certainly return.

Beautiful home surrounded by lovely gardens and views.

  • 5 of 5

The Coach House is a impeccably refurbished getaway in an idyllic setting. John and Anne were wonderfully hospitable hosts who provided great recommendations for sightseeing, dining and shopping. The house is beautiful, but we loved the views from the garden even more. Highly recommend (and we're very picky!)

A quiet and peaceful stay in the Cotswolds

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful week’s stay mid-May at the Coach House. Anne and John have thought of all the amenities and made us feel so welcome. Their attention to the minutest detail shows they have travelled themselves; they created a restful retreat. The Coach House is beautifully appointed, bright, cheery, warm and quiet. It was relaxing to return to the Coach House after a day out and enjoy a glass of wine, stroll through their beautiful garden and orchard, and admire the view over the Malverns. The full kitchen, and the closeness of supermarkets and local Farm Shops were perfect for making meals and enjoying the quiet solitude of the grounds. The baths are very nicely appointed, the bedrooms comfortable, and the washer/dryer greatly appreciated. Anne and John were very helpful in answering all our questions and making recommendations. The Coach House is ideally located to explore the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. Pebworth is a quiet village-the perfect place to rest, relax, rejuvenate, and restore. It exceeded all our expectations and the pictures on the website are accurate. Anne and John and the Coach House are true jewels.
