About the Owner

Anne and John have lived in Pebworth for 12 years and love the location being on the edge of the Cotswolds, close to Stratford upon Avon and just a short drive to the main London / Paddington rail line. "We simply have the best of all worlds" says Anne. Enjoying the beautiful Cotswolds countryside, the RSC theatre on the doorstep but easy access to London and the Midlands by rail or road. Pebworth is where 3 counties meet, Gloucester, Warwickshire and Worcestershire. Wonderful!.

The Coach House at Pebworth - a fabulous find in a beautiful location whose owners are first class!

  • 4 of 5

Booked for a short break at the end of summer.

Property very tastefully decorated throughout (living up to its website photos which is one of the factors for why we chose it) with the upstairs bathroom being one of its best features with large walk in shower and free standing bath. Option of downstairs double ensuite bedroom was a great as a family member was on crutches due to recent injury. Kitchen had everything we needed - modern with plenty of plates, bowls, mugs/cups, glasses, cutlery etc. Welcome basket with wine, cheese, butter, bread, cake and eggs was much appreciated, especially as we arrived late so we had a very nice supper. Beds so comfortable we had lie ins every day!

Outside garden had a variety of seating and we enjoyed warm sunshine into early evening. Able to stroll into the owners extensive garden and see a fantastic sunset over the hills. Very peaceful surroundings so would suit those wanting to get away from it all. Pebworth is ideally situated for local sightseeing - nice pubs serving good food at decent prices easy to find in the area.

Owners Anne and John were very friendly and, being close by, were on hand if needed - not that we did! Anne came to see us on our last day to check everything had been ok and to say good bye.

When we visit Warwickshire again we'll definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to friends and family.

A wonderful find

  • 5 of 5

We have just spent a relaxing weekend in the Coach House. This is truly a wonderful find. It has been immaculately refurbished with 2 spacious bedrooms with luxury bathrooms and the kitchen is a treat. The ambiance, the views and quality of the property meant we lacked for nothing. It was so peaceful whilst being accessible to the tourist areas of the Cotswolds. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Perfection in Pebworth

  • 5 of 5

On our arrival we were greeted by Anne and John who were very attentive hosts offering advice on places to visit and restaurants to book in the area. The 'welcome' basket contained all the 'essentials' we needed as well as a bottle of bubbly and Anne's home made jam from the garden! The Coach House has been recently refurbished to an exceptionally high standard and boasts a lovely kitchen with everything that you need, the living room has a log burner and there is a downstairs bedroom and en-suite shower room which was perfect for my elderly father. Upstairs is a large bedroom and luxury bathroom with slipper bath and large shower, no expense has been spared! Having visited 'The Bell' at Welford-on-Avon and the 'Eight Bells' at Chipping Campden for our evening meals, I can highly recommend them. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The location of the Coach House is perfect for visiting the Cotswold villages, Stratford and surrounding areas. It is in a beautiful part of the country, we hope to return. I can thoroughly recommend friends and family to visit the Coach House.

Gem of a cottage in a beautiful area

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay at The Coach House - it is a lovely cottage set in an amazing garden, with open countryside just beyond the hedge. Anne is a very welcoming host and the village of Pebworth is so well located - a stones throw to Stratford-upon-Avon and the Cotswolds, as well as all the other lovely places in the area.

RSC Theatre Stratford Upon Avon
Loxley's Restaurant & Wine Bar

From the Owner

Anne and John fell in love with Pebworth having enjoyed a weekend retreat here for 5 years. The Coach House sits within the beautiful garden of Pebworth Manor, their now permanent home. With 35 mile views across to the Malverns, "it is a home that feeds the soul" says Anne. We remember arriving in Pebworth often at the end of a busy working week, the shoulders go down and we could relax immediately. We are now work at creating that blissful safe haven feel for stressed out weekenders and staycation holidaymakers. The Coach House benefits from a private location and has off road parking. "This location offers peace and tranquility as a balance to a ‘full on’ work environment. A great place for a week away or Friday night weekend retreat. Just put your feet up, pop the cork and settle down to relax before awaking refreshed to explore the surrounding countryside, beautiful Cotswolds villages and maybe a visit to RSC theatre in Stratford Upon Avon." The Coach House also has private parking and not located on a roadway, factors that have been a big plus for some holidaymakers.
