Beautiful detached villa where no expense has been spared to create a luxurious home from home, situated on the stunning La Torre Golf Resort. The villa benefits from many features including:- 47" cable TV with over 40 English channels including Sky Sports, Bose home cinema, free WiFi, Playstation 3, upgraded bathroom fittings and full air conditioning to name a few. The fully fitted kitchen has been upgraded and now features granite worktops. The villa also has a stunning fully paved rear garden with a large private south facing swimming pool, boasting pool lighting, and is surrounded by a selection of plants. There is a luxury gas BBQ also for your enjoyment. A large private sun terrace is located on the first floor of the villa. For your additional piece of mind, the villa has a state of the art alarm system. The villa has been professionally fitted and furnished to ensure a truly 5 star experience is enjoyed.

About Ken & Sharon Zaremski

My wife Sharon and I came out to La Torre during summer 2012 and we had such a fantastic and relaxing time staying in this luxury villa that we decided to buy it!!

We live in a small coastal village close to Edinburgh and have a 19 year old daughter.

We have always enjoyed relaxing holidays in the sun and it has always been our ambition to have our own villa that we (when we are a little bit older!) can spend much more of our time there.

Why Ken & Sharon Zaremski chose Cartagena & Mar Menor

We chose La Torre originally as a holiday destination due to its close proximity to a large number of championship golf courses, although a member at St Andrews eventually the Scottish weather wears you down and there is nothing better than playing in the beautiful Spanish sun with challenging courses and an ice cold beer welcoming you at the 19th hole.

That being said La Torre Golf Resort has everything that you need to relax but also have fun, 5 star hotel, restaurants, bars, etc. and a great supermarket with everything you need if you just want to stay in. The resort is about a 15 minute drive from the beach, but if you don't want to leave the resort you don't need to.

One of the things the we really like about the location is that it is really quiet and relaxing, especially off-season.

What makes this villa unique

The property is on a very small street with a large open area at the end. The difference in villa design in our street allows for a nice mix of styles and there is not the feeling of everyone being on top of each other with ample privacy available. The resort town centre is less than five minutes walk away and the supermarket is two minutes walk away. For some of the residents at the other end of the resort that walk to the supermarket can take over 20 minutes so for our villa it's great if you want to pop to the shop for a paper, or grab a fresh loaf for breakfast. The main gate to the resort and the golf club house are also reached by foot in about three minutes.

Notes on accommodation: The villa is fully fenced around the perimeter area to ensure your privacy. As with any home that has access to a pool, care should be taken at all times with young children. The villa is strictly non smoking inside. Smoking is only permitted outside in the garden areas. Outside: The private swimming pool dimensions are 3.7x7.4m at the widest points. The pool is professionally cleaned throughout the year. The garden also has a selection of lighting to reflect the mood of the occasion. Utility Room: This room houses the washing machine and allows for clothes to be aired out of the way of the rest of the villa. Outside the back door there is a wall mounted folding washing line. Cleaning / Towels / Linen Bedding and towels are of course provided for your comfort. The villa will be spotless, ready for your arrival. Any specific needs will be accommodated if possible - by prior arrangement. Other: The villa also has a very large roof terrace with luxury furniture. This provides a superb sun trap, as well as giving views to the mountain and over the resort.

If you are wanting comfort, cleanliness, beautiful decor and large pool then look no further than this villa. Strongly recommended. It has everything you need. It is a very short walk to the supermarket and golf course. The resort is very quiet and peaceful and this villa is just a short walk to the supermarket and golf clubhouse where the views are stunning. The owner is very informative and helpful and the property managers are reliant and friendly. A car is required if you want to sight see, but not if you are wanting peace and tranquility. We cannot wait to go back.

The beach at San Javier is 15 mins drive away and there are some superb beach side restaurants there to discover. The beach at Los Alcazares is 20 mins drive and has a very long promenade again with restaurants as well as a wide variety of shops and bars. There are numerous other beaches to discover in the local vicinity.


San Javier airport is just over 15 mins drive from the villa although the flight paths do not cross the resort. Alicante airport can be reached within about 1 hour along the scenic and modern A-7 motorway. Car hire is easily arranged at the Airports.



There is so much to see and so many places to visit. A guide is kept at the villa to give you information on various markets, restaurants, places to go to etc. Visitors are encouraged to share their experiences too, so the guide keeps on growing. The beautiful towns of Murcia and Cartagena are only about 35 mins drive and hours can easily be spent shopping or just sightseeing these historic towns. For the best Tapas, look for Plaza de Flores in Murcia town.

Further Details:

There is a bank on site, supermarket and a selection of pubs and restaurants. In fact, you may not want to go off site at all. Some of the restaurants deliver and there are caterers living on site so parties etc. can be arranged. The towns of Roldan and Balsicas border the resort, each having restaurants and bars that show the real Spain. In addition to the 18 hole golf course, there are also Tennis courts on site. The resort is often quiet, perfect for relaxation and recharging batteries! However there are many fun and interesting things to do within a 10-20 minute drive.

Changeover Day:
Changeovers are where possible flexible. Due to the continued very high demand for this property, during busy periods, an in after 3 pm. on arrival day, and vacation of property by 10 am. is requested. If possible arrangements can be made to extend.
