The property is a simply stunning converted carstone barn with 3 en-suite bedrooms in the main barn, and a 4th en-suite bedroom in the annexe. The barn was converted and finished to an exceptionally high standard at the start of 2012, meaning that your stay will be in superior modern day comfort. It is quietly located in a rural setting adjacent to fields with sheep and horses, with enclosed walled gardens surrounding the barn. The award winning Rose and Crown pub (just named UK Pub of the Year 2015!), Old Bank Bistro and village amenities are within walking distance of this peaceful setting. The royal estate of Sandringham is 3 miles away, and the delightful Georgian village of Burnham Market is only 12 miles away. There is a nearby RSPB reserve close to the beach and this is an excellent location for watching the pink-footed Norfolk geese roost. King’s Lynn is just 12 miles away with regular trains to London taking under two hours, and there are many recommended golf courses nearby.

In the light of more and more people deciding to take their holidays in the UK, this property offers it's guests fantastic value for money. The 'freedom' of self catering and having everyone together in a spacious, high quality accommodation where each bedroom has its own bathroom, has become a very popular modern way of taking a holiday.

Why Simon Graham chose Kings Lynn & West Norfolk

The property is a family house in a part of the country we adore. We recently bought the house to use for family breaks and also holiday lets, we have therefore furnished the house as if it was our main house. The North Norfolk Coast is a stunning part of the country, and has something to offer all. Whether it is a walk along one of the beautiful beaches, enjoying a cosy meal in one of the many 5 star restaurants in the area or just ambling around the boutiques or stately homes.

What makes this barn unique

The property is perfectly located next to a Deer Farm, which is great for children, and on the outskirts of a beautiful village with the sea less than 2 miles away.

Utility Room: A washing machine and dryer are housed in the utility room. There is also an additional sink. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All towels and linen will be included. Beach towels are provided for trips to the beach. Towels and linen will be changed between rentals. Other: The dining area has a wooden table that can be extended, with 10 chairs.

More than a home from home in a great location.

Fantastic clean, well equipped home. Everything you need & more. The weather was kind to us so we visited many beaches including Snettisham & Heacham being the closest, plus Hunstanton & the stunning Holcombe beach. Rose & Crown pub serves great food with the staff being very helpful. We were also able to use the bbq. The co-op is a short walk and Tesco can be found a short drive away in Hunstanton.

Fantastic high quality acoomodation

The property is located in a peaceful setting on the fringes of the village, within easy walking distance of amenities. The accommodation is of a very high standard throughout. The large private garden is ideal for entertaining so too the open plan nature of the kitchen, lounge, diner. We highly recommend the property and will be back

Fantastic place to stay.

This is an amazing property in a lovely area of Norfolk. Furnishings and fixtures were of a very high standard. Plenty of space and having four ensuites for four couples was a bonus. Everything you could ever need for a great stay was provided even down to the spices and condiments. Simon couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and the lovely touch of wine and chocolates was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend this property to friends and we will be back in the future as there is so much to see and do in Norfolk.

Wonderful short break w friends at Antlers Retreat

Antlers Retreat is a lovely barn conversion in Snettisham. All four bedrooms are beautifully fitted out and the kitchen is very well equipped. The patio area is perfect for the barbecue which we enjoyed on Saturday evening. It's approximately 15 minutes walk to the nearest pub which is delightful with a good range of ales. Whilst there were only four of us this time, I can easily see us returning with our wives/girlfriends at some point in the future - there is certainly plenty of room! I would recommend whole-heartedly.

Eight go wild in Norfolk!

Antlers Retreat was an amazing place to stay. It was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Very well equipped and clean throughout. We were a party of 8 adults and it was just perfect for our needs. It provided the space we required in a homely and tranquil environment.

The local Bistro was excellent as was the Rose and Crown. A very enjoyable visit and I would highly recommend a stay there.

Great location and the property was excellent

We had a lovely stay @ Antlers Retreat a friend’s surprise 60th for his wife, we found it had everything we needed including a well-equipped Kitchen. 8 of us stayed for 3 nights but were sorry we had to leave and all agreed we would not hesitate in booking again.

It was great to have a nice private garden area to sit out and enjoy the afternoon Sun.

Snettisham beach is around 2 miles from the property and 5 minutes by car. Hunstanton beach is around 10 minutes drive and the stunning Holkham beach around 20 minutes drive.

Stansted Aiport is 84 miles away. King’s Lynn is just 12 miles away with regular trains to London via Liverpool Street and Kings Cross taking under two hours.

Distances:

The royal estate of Sandringham is 3 miles away, and the delightful Georgian village of Burnham Market is only 12 miles away.

Further Details:

The award winning Rose and Crown pub (just named UK Pub of the Year 2015!), Old Bank Bistro and village amenities are within walking distance of the property. There is a brilliant Farm Shop at Norfolk Lavender which is 5 minutes drive, and supermarkets in nearby Hunstanton. There are some excellent restaurants along the North Norfolk Coast.
