I just wanted to thank you again for another fantastic holiday at Caradoc. The house is so so perfect, it has everything and more that we could possibly have needed, so clean and comfortable! Soap in the bathrooms were much appreciated, kitchen fully equipped with things I had forgotten! We even used some of the bikes this year. It was great. Wendy and Jon

A self catering holiday which will rarely be equalled. Equipment and facilities were of the highest order. "s" family from Bolton

What a wonderful holiday home. I've never known a holiday let so well equipped, it is obviously a home not just a holiday. The children had a wonderful week with their cousins, rock pooling, karting, swimming in the sea etc. it was one of those holidays they will remember as adults. Thank you.

We had a great week. Twins loved the beaches and rock pools, loved the sea zoo and last day on the mountain railway. We hope to visit again.

We have just had a fabulous week at this spacious, light and well-equipped bungalow. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and it was clean and well presented on arrival. The beach, shops, chippy, chemist and several eating places are 5-10 minutes walk (uphill on the way back) so it is easy to obtain essentials.

The weather was glorious this week and we spent many hours walking and sitting on the beach enjoying ice-creams and warm, soft sand. It was interesting watching the jets and helicopters from RAF Valley and on Thursday afternoon we were treated to a fantastic display by the Red Arrows.

The views from the bungalow are stunning and we walked our dog to the beach and to the lake each day. I think our Jack Russell would rate this as one of her best holidays so far.

The owners were helpful and answered queries quickly.

We would be more than happy to return here.

Comfortable bungalow with lovely views

  • 4 of 5

We stayed in this lovely comfy bungalow with 2 friends from 28th December 2015 until 4th January 2016. The weather was very wet and blustery but we were warm and cosy, it suited us all to stay in and look at the views from the living room windows. The property is spacious and very well equipped. There was enough room for us all to do our own "thing" when required. Communication with the owners was excellent. We enjoyed New Years Eve at the Oyster Catcher, lovely staff , nice meal and a very good singer called Jade. We have already booked again for next year.Thank you Wendy and Michael

Our party of two adults and one dog have just spent a very relaxing and enjoyable week at Caradoc. Its location is very peaceful at the end of a cul-de-sac and it has great views out to Lake Maelog.

It is very spacious, well equipped and feels very much like you are sharing somebody's home......which is very obviously what it once was.

The cooker and grill decided to pack in during our visit but this was sorted very efficiently by the owners and as the hob was still working didn't cause us any inconvenience.....especially as we hadn't planned on doing much cooking ourselves!

We had a lovely lunchtime meal at The Oyster Catcher and also visited Will's Bar for the Wed evening quiz (and went again early doors on Friday when we realised it was dog friendly). We had a lovely evening meal at Typhoon Thai and superb take-away fish and chips from the chippie.

The lake footpath can be accessed from a stile at the edge of the property and thankfully for us there weren't any sheep in the adjoining field to distract the dog!

The table tennis table having just arrived was an added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay so much that we've already booked it up again for Xmas!

We have visited Anglesey and Rhosneiger on several occasions but this is by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. We are a family with two teenagers plus two dogs so it is unusual for us all to be happy- but we were! The lazy boys stayed at home and occasionally lifted their heads to look out at the impressive planes whilst the girls took the dogs to the beach and walked around the lake chatting to the donkeys and Shetland ponies when we saw them.

The bungalow had everything we could possibly need in it, was warm and well looked after without making you feel nervous to touch anything. The owners offered the use of all their own belongings in the garage and it felt like a home from home. Will definitely be returning to this bungalow - loved it! Thank you so much.

Thoughtful Owners

We stayed in this fabulous accommodation from 29th December 2014 until 3rd January 2015 and what a fantastic place it proved to be to see in the New Year. The weather was cold and blustery but we were warm and cosy. Caradoc is a spacious, very well equipped property where the owners seemed to have thought of everything. We were a family of 4 with a dog, but the spacious kitchen and living accommodation allowed us to cater easily for our family gathering of 17, for New Year's day brunch. As well as a fabulously equipped kitchen there are games outdoor and in, dvd's, bikes, fishing nets and a host of other items that make staying here feel like home from home. There was even milk in the fridge on arrival. Caradoc is close to all amenities, walks and beaches. We will certainly stay here again. Thank you

Wendy inherited the family home and has completely refurbished it with new kitchen, bathroom and conservatory and decorated throughout. The bungalow is in a very peaceful location, at the end of a cul de sac, consequently very safe for children yet wiithin a few minutes walk of all the shops, restaurants and all the sandy beaches. The holiday season is busy with all the sailing and other water sports but out of season it is very tranquil and a lovely change from Buckinghamshire where they live.

From the Owner

Caradoc is only 10 minutes from the A55 motorway across the island from Bangor to Holyhead. It is also only 15 minutes walk from Rhosneigr Railway Station which is a request stop for some of the mainline trains. Caradoc has been extended and so is much larger than the average in the area and with its large garden and beautiful views makes a very pleasant holiday home. The new conservatory with its very comfortable cane furniture gives an added bonus.
