About Sue Springbett

Hi we are Bob and Sue and we have lived in Milford for 25yrs. Our house and studio is in an idyllic spot. We have a son Tom who is a rowing/sports coach for a private school in Oxford who enjoys cycling and daughter Isabella who is at university in Oxford and is a mean netball player. We also have only one chicken now which no longer lay eggs, but is so pretty! We are always busy, both enjoy walking, cycling and the village events i.e music and food festivals, local pubs and resturants. We all like to travel and love the warm weather but tend to go to Europe for some sun but always out of season as we have everything here within walking distance.

Sue Springbett purchased this apartment in 1997

Why Sue Springbett chose New Forest

The area offers so much. The area offers so much we have are own village green, butchers, grocers, hairdressers, beautician not to mention a variety of pubs, restuarants, cafes and the beach. Keyhaven has its own quay where you can launch your boat and the marshes which is great for bird watchers, artists and walkers. There are plenty of walks and things to do in Milford. In the area we are 20 mins from the New Forest and the main Brockenhurst Train Station. We are only 35mins from Bournemouth which boast a lively main town with shops theatres nightclubs and resturants galore. As well as a golden sandy beach. We love people staying in our studio so they also can enjoy the fantastic facilities Milford has to offer. It offers light and airy accommodation with a feeling of tranquility

What makes this apartment unique

From Beaches studio we enjoy a lovley outlook of the shingle bank and the Isle of Wight, we are south facing and are situated within walking distance of all the facilities Milford has to offer. If you fancy a pub meal and a few drinks- no taxis needed here. You may like to pick up fish and chips, sit on the beach of an evening watch the sunset and just meander back. Or get dressed up and visit some of are nice resturants and walk back. Or simply stay in and enjoy a takeaway and sip wine on your patio. We offer off road parking outside the studio and arrangements can be made on request to collect and return from Brockenhurst or local train stations.

Lovely hideaway on the South coast

  • 5 of 5

Beautifully presented studio which has everything you need for a lovely break at any time of the year. Great restaurants close by and a nice coastal town with refreshing walks along the spit to Hurst Castle and many other places. Sue was the font of all current local knowledge and very welcoming (even left some delicious scones as a greeting). Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous accommodation!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this property - it is beautifully decorated, very cosy and provided everything we needed. It is in a perfect location to explore and we did a beautiful walk on Saturday around Keyhaven Marshes and the coastal path. We came for the weekend in February as we wanted to see what it was like in the middle of winter as we hope to move to the area. The sun shone, it was warm and we met some lovely people - what more could we want!

One week at beaches Studio

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic week in the studio at the end of June, which we found had everything we needed and was modern and spotless. It was in a great location, central to pubs, shops, cafes and the beach. There are loads of places to visit and some lovely walks, the walk to Lymington through the salt marshes was superb. Sue and Bob were absolutely lovely and couldn't have been any more welcoming or helpful. I would definitely recommend the studio and return in future, Karen and Paul

The Beaches Studio, Milford on Sea.

  • 5 of 5

The studio is well laid out, bright, comfortable and spotless. It was nice to have a patio for a breath of air. We were very fortunate with the weather which enabled us to sightsee around this very interesting area. We enjoyed the local walks by Sturt Ponds and around the woods just off the village green, no car needed! The village had several varied eating places from pubs to restaurants and we found it a friendly place. Two good general grocery stores too for essential supplies, loved the pork pies from Hollands! Further afield, the New Forest is nearby also Buckler's Hard , Hurst Castle is fascinating, we went on the ferry from Keyhaven but is walkable from the Studio. Our hosts, Sue and her daughter (didn't meet Mr.S.) were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this delightful bolt hole to anyone.
