Second floor large apartment in prestigious L Ecrin des Neiges residence. Built in traditional Savoyard style and furnished in Savoie style. Large apartment with 2 balconies - front and back. Faces the slopes. 3 bedrooms - 1 double room and 2 with twin beds. 3 bathrooms. Separate WC. Sofa bed in lounge. Large open plan living , dining and kitchen area with 2 large sofas and table and chairs. TV and WIFI. Recently redecorated and renovated. Well situated in Val Claret for proximity to both slopes and village centre.

About Anton and Helen Jenkins

We are a family of four with two teenage sons. Live in England. We enjoy skiing and the outdoors. Owning the apartment has given us the opportunity to ski and take family and friends with us. Tignes has proved a great location . Val Claret is at the top of the valley - excellent links to L'Espace Killy - being able to ski to Val d'Isere for lunch. Also good restaurants / bars for apres ski. We do not use the car once there.

Great Chalet, Great location

Lovely apartment. Perfect for 6-8 people. Great location close to lifts and shops. Definitely would recommend.

Cosy, very comfortable apartment close to the ski lifts

We very much enjoyed the three bathrooms as we were with two grown up sons and one of their partners. Nice towels, wonderful sheets and excellent beds. The only irritation was the dishwasher which was washing very poorly. The kitchen utensils and equipment were very basic which is probably enough for most people but we love cooking. Location is excellent with the ski lifts within walking distance and the ski bus just in front of the door.

A wonderful apartment in a perfect location, amazing week, highly recommended will definitely return

This apartment is defenitely luxury, everything you need for a fantastic ski holiday.

The apartment is perfectly located close to local amenities and slopes. There is a great range of local restaurants and aprè ski bars and a well stocked local supermarket.

The apartment is very well equipped, allowing the ability to self cater. White cotton towels, bedding and dressing gowns are provided. We found the beds very comfortable allowing for a good nights sleep after a hard day on the slopes.

The ski resort is vast and allows for all levels of both ski and boarding ability. Ski passes allow you to ski in both the Tignes and Val d'Isère and all piste's are well managed. There is a fantastic shuttle service right outside the door of the apartment connecting the resorts of Tignes allowing you to explore the other areas.

Will definitely book again.

Tignes Summer Vacation for Teenagers

Our holiday was for two weeks during August. We arrived at the Chalet, which was immaculate and well furnished. Very comfortable for 4 people (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Great balcony used in the late afternoon (in sunshine) after a long day of activities. Tignes is great in the summer with the free TigneSport card providing lots of free activities such as Tennis, Kayak/Canoe, Boules, Football, archery, table tennis...the list is extensive. Also able to use the Cable cars and chair lifts free of charge for some amazing walks across the peaks and down into the valley's. Luckily we had 12 great sunny days out of 14. Always a chance of a thunderstorm when you are 2700m above sea level. Spent each morning running around the Tignes Du Lac which is perfect. Lots of restaurants and bars close by makes it an ideal holiday location for active teens.

Appt Ecrin des Neiges, Val Claret Tignes

The apartment met all expectations and more. Exceptionally clean with good wifi and excellent location for getting to the slopes and eating out in the evening - particularly enjoyed La Pignatta and Le Grattalu in Val Claret. Ample space with kitchen. diner and living room together in one large space making it well suited for a family holiday and eating in. Modern bathrooms ensuite for each bedroom. Boots room with large looker with sufficient space for family's skis and boots. A great location - skiing magnificent with fantastic restaurants on slopes too and even a spot of dancing at the infamous La Folie Doice !

Exactly as expected from the description.

Spacious.

Spotless with ample linen and towelling.

Great self-catering facilities.

A bathroom for each bedroom.

Good wifi and TV reception.

Great location for very short bus service to the lifts (pretty much outside) and a short walk to good selection of restaurants, supermarket, ski-hire, ATM.

Acceptable transfer time from Geneva airport.

Will be going again.
