About the Owner

This property is our second/holiday home. We have visited Derbyshire many times over the years and love it so much we decided to invest in our own property in the area. We have furnished the cottage in a comfortable and homely manner as it is not just a holiday let it is our much loved holiday home.

A perfect little cottage. We only travelled from Nottingham but it was just what we needed, relaxing, cosy and quiet. The cottage is very clean and tidy, modern but with that cottage feel.

Would love to come back one day.

Perfect little getaway!

  • 5 of 5

The cottage is small but perfectly formed and finished to a super high standard. It's the perfect cosy getaway in winter with the real wood burner. We visited near Christmas and there was a tree and decorations up which was a lovely touch.

2 friends and I stayed at the cottage for two nights and it was the perfect size and in a lovely quiet location.

Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back soon for a second visit!

Our second stay in this beautiful, romantic, cosy cottage. Both quaint and quirky, the cottage is finished to a high standard with original features and gorgeous, contemporary extras that combine perfectly. Ideally located, we visited Bakewell, Matlock, Belper and Ashbourne for a spot of shopping, Chatsworth House, and enjoyed an invigorating walk around Carsington Water. The owner is both friendly and professional, handling our booking efficiently, providing full details before arriving and ensuring we enjoyed our stay. We will certainly be returning for our third visit.
