Cosy Grade 2 listed thatched cottage. ideal base for beach holiday, surfing , mountain biking, walking, golf and birdwatching. Two double bedrooms, one on the ground floor next to the ground floor bathroom. One room with a bunk bed suitable for children or up to teenagers. Garden with seating. Dogs allowed but please let us know in advance. Garden is fenced but has low gates to one side. Parking on road side is limited .

Excellent Cottage

A lovely thatched cottage close to the sandy beaches. A modern well equiped kitchen and bathroom and 3 good sized bedrooms. Pleased the cottage had no low ceilings, A real plus that there were TV's in 2 of the bedrooms - unusual in rented cottages. Cannot fault anything about the cottage and would like to thank the owners for making our stay so enjoyable.

We would suggest that there are a few more pictures of the cottage on the web page, especially as the master bedroom is so big, and would be a big attraction to future renters. Would also like to have seen one non stick pan in the kitchen for scrambled eggs etc, and double glazed windows in the master bedroom would block out early morning road noise, but not that intrusive. Perfect location with great local pub and post office/village store.

In conclusion, a fantastic cottage, well furnished, comfortable and a good size. Over the 20 plus years we have rented holiday cottages, this is one of the very best value for money properties. Well done to the owners.

From the Owner

We have been coming to Croyde and the surrounding area for many years, beautiful beaches, great surf, wonderful walking and bike rides. The area has its own special feel which we love. Planning eventually to maybe retire here!

10minute drive to Croyde

15 minute Drive to Putsborough.


1 minute walk to Williams Arms Pub

20 minutes walk to Brunton village shops and Cafes
