Sitting in an elevated position with views over the village towards Roscarrock Hill and the "Docks Martins" cottage, Kylden offers a perfect home from home. The cottage is maintained to a very high standard throughout. In the summer season, relax on the sun terrace; equipped with all you could need for alfresco dining. In winter, curl up on one of the large sofas in the living room in front of the fire.

Why Caroline May chose North Cornwall

We bought Kylden when our kids were small. We wanted outdoor space big enough for them to run around and easy parking when we had a car full of stuff to take to the beach. We also wanted to be walkable to pubs, restaurants and shops to make our time in Cornwall as relaxing as possible.

Notes on accommodation: Sorry, no dogs. Outside: Large private rear garden and sun terrace equipped with table, chairs (and sun loungers in the summer). Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and house towels are included in the rental price. For lettings of more than a week, the laundry is changed on a weekly basis.

Stunning views, comfortable and well equipped

Kylden is the perfect place in Port Isaac. It is directly opposite the Coop, is comfortable and well equipped, spacious and has a good sized garden. The owner is friendly and flexible, and has put so much thought into making the bungalow perfect. Impossible to fault, we had a wonderful stay.

Great Location

A nice 2 bedroom house in a fantastic location. A great view from the back of the house, and an amazing shower. Clean and well equipped with everything you need.

We enjoyed a day in the village exploring, headed to Tintagel Castle which is a must, then enjoyed a costal drive on our last day.

Cannot recommend this property enough.

Port Isaac for two couples

Great house, includes all necessary amenities , clean and great kitchen, located at entry to village , car parking is a bonus as none available in the Centre . It's a steep walk down and back but worth the effort. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay for a few days or a week as its between port gaverne and port Isaac and a great walk to both headlands. Pizza shop Angry Anchovy near garage is great , old school restaurant proved to be quite good also.. Pubs are great atmosphere , friendly staff . And good beer . ! The Co-op store is opposite cottage so no need to shop up before leaving home . Thanks for a great stay

P.S ... And do the walk to port Quinn if fit and able and expect mud .

Fantastic. Book it right away!

Wow. What a fantastic home away from home in Port Isaac. First impressions were that it's super clean & homely. The welcome wine was a lovely touch. After a little poke about we discovered every utensil you could need plus a few extras in terms of games, DVDs & CD player. And lots of thought has been put into those that bring kids, though we didn't. A folder of local info is provided. Loved the power shower.

Right across the road is the coop if you plan to cook. It seemed well stocked. TV system is very good & lots of choice if you plan to stay in. You could also bring your own DVDs/CDs. Netflix is pre-installed if you have an account.

The house is just at the top of the village, only 6 minutes walk from "the centre" and 4 mins from "Fresh from the Sea" or "Restaurant Nathan Outlaw". Perfect location for exploring & its location slightly out of the windy centre means no parking issues.

Can't recommend this home (or the wonderfully friendly hosts) highly enough. If it's available for your dates book without hesitation!

So comfortable

Wonderful stay in this lovely, comfortable cottage with superb views and in a fabulous position. Sunny patio with a wonderful outlook to Port Isaac and the most comfortable bed that we have slept in on our holiday so far. Excellent well equipped kitchen, clean, warm and with everything you could need on a holiday. Thanks for having us Caroline.

There is a well stocked village Coop with free cash machine almost opposite the cottage with in store bakery for fresh bread and morning croissants. Fresh fish and seafood is sold direct from the harbour every day (except Sunday). There are 8-10 pubs and restaurants at every price range all within 10 minutes walk, including the acclaimed Restaurant Nathan Outlaw (2 Michelin star) and Outlaws Fish Kitchen (1 Michelin star).

Changeover day is Friday. Arrival is from 4.30pm and departure by 11.00am. During the winter, we are able to be flexible on changeover day, length of stay and sometimes arrival and departure times.
