Lovely lodge with stunning view

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for 3 nights over New Year's with my wife and 2 year old and with my friend and his wife and 2 kids. The lodge is very well stocked with games, sky tv, and all kitchen utensils as well as lots of other good things. The Manor House and indoor swimming pools were very nice and the New Year's entertainment was free and very good. We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay here, would recommend and think the lodge would be lovely place in the summer with the patio area and stunning views!!

Beautiful lodge with stunning scenery

  • 5 of 5

Stayed at coombe view with my husband and 2 children aged 12 and 16. Beautifully well kept lodge with a lovely patio area and stunning scenery. The lodge was equipped with all that you could need and more. Was handy having sky tv especially for the kids. Lots of information folders and guides. Spent many evenings watching the beautiful sunsets from the conservatory or outside. Whilst there we visited port issac, bostcastle, bideford and wadebridge amongst many trips into bude which is a lovely seaside town with many shops and nice beach. We ate at the new inn and had fish and chips from gillets in kilkhampton. Kids enjoyed the swimming pools on site.

Would not hesitate to recommend to friends or return. Thanks for a lovely holiday

Golf tour to Bude

  • 5 of 5

Chalet very well presented, clean, tidy and ready for occupancy. Excellent views from terrace and very quite on site. Very convenient for access into Kilkhampton.

Happy to use this property again.

Only down side was the weather but that has not been unusual this June.

Owner's Response: Thank you Brian. We aim to provide all the home comforts as if you were in your own home. Unfortunately we are unable to control the weather but golfers should know that there is no such thing as bad weather, just unsuitable clothing. I believe this is the 13th year the "Fine Bodyy of Men Golf Society" has used our lodge as a base for the many fine golf clubs in th area. We look forward to welcoming you all for many more years to come. Thanks, Roger

Very Pleasent and Enjoyable Stay. Quiet

  • 5 of 5

We had a good holiday, a couple of days of rain, but always found something to do.

It was interesting looking through the book of the lodge, there has been quite a transformation in modernisation. The Sky Box was good to find child's programs to keep our 4year old out of the way when trying to get ready to go out. She loved riding her balance bike around the patio and upto the car and back. The entertainer at the Pavilion was very good, as was the food and drink. The Pizza place came in handy one evening and the girl serving was very friendly and helpful.

Our party of 4 could not believe the cleanliness, thoughtfulness and attention to detail that we were greeted with on arrival at the Lodge. No detail had been left out and everything that you could possibly want was there. Folders detailing beaches, places of interest and restaurants were there to help make the stay so enjoyable. Even down to listing how many miles away and time it would take to get to various destinations. All of us were really impressed and will definately make a return visit. We did not want to leave. We certaintly would recommend this property to anyone wishing to have a wonderful carefree stay.
