Villa in Benfarras, Nr. Vilamoura, Central Algarve - Peaceful Location, 5 Minutes Drive To The Beach And Various Golf Courses

The villa benefits from a peaceful elevated position, though not secluded as it has many neighbouring villas. Rooms are well-appointed and tastefully furnished with private balconies to two. The kitchen is modern with a full range of appliances and separate laundry room. Inside there are two dining tables and an outside seating area for up to 10 persons. There is heating and air conditioning throughout the villa and a central vacuum system. TV's (including English channels), DVD, CD and Ipod Dock are provided. The basement area provides a large games room complete with pool and table tennis tables, gym equipment, assorted rackets and various board games. There are extensive terraces with BBQ, sun loungers and large shaded dining area with a private pool (unheated). Access is via an electric gate with ample parking areas. There is a small garden with grassed area and filled with flowering shrubs and aromatic plants of all kinds - perfect for those long lazy days in the Algarve sunshine.

About FIONA

My husband and I live in Middlesex. We like to spend as much time as possible at the villa but these days our time there is spent ensuring that everything is in tip-top condition for our guests. As such, the days of relaxing holidays by the pool are long gone but we wouldn't change anything as we want our guests to love Casa Aurora as much as we do.

Why FIONA chose Loule region

Prior to purchasing the villa we spent many happy holidays in the Algarve, mainly the West Coast area. However, we instantly fell in love with Casa Aurora and are delighted with it's close proximity to the cosmopolitan Vilamoura whilst still maintaining a short distance to enable us to experience the "real" Algarve. We have five fabulous golf courses practically on our doorstep (within a five minute drive) and the airport is only 20 minutes by car which is a real bonus when you just cant wait to get there!

What makes this villa unique

It is a short 7 minute drive to the Marina of Vilamoura with it's numerous bars, restaurants and shops. The beach is directly off the Marina which is lovely for an afternoon stroll along the promenade to Quarteira or the opposite direction towards Albufeira. However, as this is a very tourist area it is lovely to go back to the villa and dine at the local Portuguese restaurant called "the "Orange Pate" which is a brisk 15 minute walk and renowned for their lamb stew and lamb chops. It is extremely reasonably priced for such good food. Also, we have the local "Oasis Bistro" which is again a brisk 15 minute walk and is open 24 hours which is inexpensive and great if you're running very late or just want a snack (they do fabulous extra large toastie sandwiches which kids and teenagers love).

Excellent villa

The overall experience was wonderful. High up in the hills overlooking Vilamoura and the ocean. Beautiful country walks and walking distance to a nearby fabulous restaurant.

Fiona could not have been more helpful and everything was available in the villa.

It way surpassed our expectations.

Well done Fiona and Dan for renting such a beautiful home.

Fabulous facilities in great location

This is an amazing Villa with an owner who pays very close attention to everything that could possibly be required. There are more facilities than we ever imagined and the games room in the basement kept the boys (14&16) occupied and out the midday sun. The location of the villa is only a short distance away from Vilamoura and a car is definitely required to fully appreciate the surrounding area. The villa is situated in a peaceful location with a number of great restaurants close by.

I would recommend this Villa as an outstanding place to stay due to it being so well maintained, clean and has the extras that many others do not.

Wonderful

Just having returned from a weeks holiday we were blown away. This was to be the most relaxing holiday we have ever had. The attention to detail at the villa itself is outstanding, everything you need and more on hand and well thought through. Clean, spacious and bright! The outside areas also exceed expectations, are not overlooked and are very peaceful and pretty. Our experience was exceptional and we are already planning our return. Book it you won't be disappointed.

Peaceful, quality villa close to amenities.

The villa is located off the main road from Faro to Alberfiera, away from the noise and the crowds. The only sound is from the local cockerel and the odd dog barking.

The accommodation is first class throughout, the ideal home from home. Many little extras, like the pool table & table tennis in the garage, the brick built barbecue and the bicycles provide something to keep everyone occupied from morning to night.

There were four adults in our party,but the villa could easily suit six without falling over each other.

A fabulous property to be highly recommended..

5 star villa and experience

Had a really nice week at the villa in August 2015. The accommodation is excellent / high quality and the pool and garden are very well maintained. Lots of room and a ten minute drive from Vilamoura. Whole family thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and the overall experience is five star - i.e. easy to book, responsive and helpful owner, being met and shown around by nice people etc. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Casa Aurora - a little piece of Algarve heaven!

Our 2nd visit to Casa Aurora but this time with our children aged 12 & 13 years old. Hat's off to Fiona and Dan...Casa Aurora did not fail to impress yet again. Infact we were more captivated than ever with this beautiful and exquisitely finished villa. It definitely gets a 5 star+ rating from us (who have quite high expectations and are extremely fussy!). Fiona & Dan certainly have thought of everything a family or group could need and their attention to detail is phenomenal from a a very well equipped kitchen, living/dining room and ensuite bedrooms and bathrooms, all tastefully, elegantly and comfortably decorated throughout to a fantastic games room with a pool table & ping pong table, board games etc. We spent many lazy days in the glorious outdoor pool & lounge area and relished the outside dining area and barbecue. The villa is located in such a tranquil and secure setting yet so close to "the action" in Vilamoura & a few minutes drive to other bustling tourist hubs like Vale Do Lobo - it was perfect for us. We enjoyed some lovely restaurants many of these recommended by the owners eg. My Thai in The Marina, Vilamoura. Likewise we had fantastics days out in Zoomarine and Aqualand. The weather was amazing & we took advantage of the lovely cycle and running routes pointed out to us by Fiona. Our 12 days in Casa Aurora were indeed idilic & we thank Fiona & Dan for sharing their little peace of heaven with us & having their caretaker Sonia meet us at the airport to escort us to the villa. Thanks also for the lovely treats you organised for us upon our arrival - we were royally spoiled. Our time went by so fast but we look forward to returning again soon and will be in touch to do so. XOXOXO Pat, Niamh, Mark, Megan & Adam.

PS - With two teenage lads in tow, the excellent wifi was a godsend!!
