About june coburn

My husband and myself have both recently retired and live next door to Burnside Croft with our two retired racing greyhounds, so we would be on hand to receive our guests and be able to give any advice or help to make their holiday as enjoyable and comfortable as possible.

Wonderful location, lovely cottage and warm welcoming hosts!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely stay in Beaully, so much to see and do locally and further afield. Scotland is beautiful! June and Bob are perfect hosts and do what they can to make your stay a good one. They doggysat our Spanish rescue dog, so we could go snowboarding, need I say more? We will definitely return when we go to Scotland again and can think of no better place to stay than this. Thanks for everything The Wythe family

Just beautiful

  • 5 of 5

When we arrived we were greeted by June and Bob who showed us into Burnside. One look and we were blown away, we never expected such a lovely place. The fire was burning brightly in the burner which, made the whole place warm and welcoming on a cold December night, especially after travelling for ten hours! There was a lovely welcome pack waiting for us, including wine which was an amazing touch and so unexpected. Bob and June were great, they invited us over to New Years day drinks and nibbles, they were so hospitable and friendly. Burnside was wonderful, everything and more we could have wished for. Roomy warm and fully equiped for a wonderful stay. The location was great as we loved walking and it was in easy reach for all the site seeing we wanted to do. If it was for sale we would buy it, it was that wonderful!

Very comfortable and well equipped holiday home

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying at Burnside Croft. June and Bob are great hosts who take great pride in offering a comfortable, cozy and well equipped holiday home that helped make our holiday really enjoyable. The cottage was very clean and from the minute we arrived it felt like a home rather than just a holiday let. The cottage is in a beautiful location - it is surrounded by woodland and just a short walk away (a few minutes at a gentle pace) are stunning views of the Beauly Firth.

June very kindly provided basic essentials upon our arrival - tea, coffee, milk, a bottle of wine and some shortbread and chocolates - which was very welcome after a long journey. The WiFI connection was quick and reliable.

We would highly recommend this property for anybody that wants a quiet retreat but easy access to many of the great attractions on offer in the area.

There is a great selection of leaflets and information on local attractions in the cottage.

The booking process was very easy and June was quick to respond to any messages that we sent in relation to our booking.

We look forward to returning again soon and thank June and Bob for their hospitality.

"home from home"

  • 5 of 5

Stayed here for three nights with our daughter & two greyhounds, got a great welcome from June & Bob. The cottage was very clean and has everything you could need for your stay and the bottle of wine etc was much appreciated.

Great location with plenty of good places to walk our dogs and lovely scenery. We were also delighted to meet the owner's greyhounds.

We will definitely recommend this cottage to our family & friends and hope to return soon.
