Cottage in Central St Ives Cornwall. Quiet, Yet Central Location, Minutes From The Harbour, town centre, And Beaches.

Number Six is a charming and stylish cottage that captures the essence of St.Ives; the white painted sitting-room leads through an open doorway to the kitchen/dining-room, and outside is a little private patio, with enough space to hang out the wetsuits, and maybe have a coffee. Up the cottage stairs are the fresh and light bathroom and two chic bedrooms, the double furnished with a gorgeous contemporary four-poster bed, the second bedroom has twin beds. The house sleeps four people, has full central heating, and BT Infinity broadband and TV. The house is very central, yet quietly situated. The World renowned Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, run by the Tate Gallery, is just down the lane, and we are close to all the local amenities, beaches and attractions. Number Six is an ideal base for a stay in St Ives, and the chance to enjoy a 'car free' holiday. There are amazing beaches, fantastic restaurants, and wonderful scenery all within a couple of minutes walk. All of our guests have enjoyed Number Six, and we have had wonderful feedback from them.

Between Easter and October, we operate a FRIDAY changeover day, with short breaks available between November and Easter

Why Mr M Freedman chose St Ives area

Having owned previous properties close to St Ives, we chose to buy Number Six because of it's location and charm. It is very central, yet quietly located. We love being almost in the centre of town, yet away from the hubub! Number Six is a perfect place to enjoy a car free holiday and enjoy the beaches, the walks, the galleries, and of course, the restaurants.

Easter - October FRIDAY changeover day. In common with the majority of houses in St Ives, there is no private parking. Mount Pleasant is a narrow street, but you can stop outside to load; the nearest car park is Barnoon, which is about 200 yards away. Nearby on street parking is also available if you are lucky! We are happy to accept a small dog (£25 charge), and the house is, of course, strictly no smoking. Outside: There is a small private patio, just big enough for to have a coffee and hang out the wetsuits! Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and duvets, including bath towels, hand towels, and tea towels, is provided. Number 6 will be cleaned prior to your arrival and on your departure. A weekly change of linen will be provided for fortnightly guests. Other: The attractive dining room, again with original artwork, leads to the open plan kitchen, and there is a small private patio, where you can have a coffee, and hang the wetsuits out to dry

Utterly gorgeous

No. 6 is a truly contemporary home. The decor and artworks the owners have collected are so beautiful. The 'home' is truly that - not some sterile rental. It's located in a great spot in St. Ives - far enough away from the masses but close enough to everything that is important. Stunning beaches, charming shops and a multitude of art galleries, contemporary restaurants and tempting cafés. A wonderful place to spend time away in.

Number six is superb!

Just back from a wonderful week in st Ives, staying at the delightful 'Number Six' The cottage was immaculately clean upon our arrival, it has a contemporary feel, with lots of fabulous artwork to admire. It has obviously been lovingly restored. It was lovely and warm as the cleaner had kindly put the heating on, and everything was easy to find, and use, with all of the user manuals, should you need them, neatly filed in a folder. There was also another file with lots of information and recommendations for places to eat in the local and surrounding areas, which we found really useful. The owners were a pleasure to deal with, right through from booking, to leaving the property. All in all, number six is a delightful house in the centre of town, but on a very quiet street with hardly any traffic. It is a couple of minutes walk away from all there is to see and do in this glorious seaside town. We would recommend without hesitation.

First class stay!

I have been to Number Six in St Ives already this year (a week in April) and returned for a weekend break in October. It is like a home from home for us and we love returning to this pretty cottage after a day out walking and enjoying the beautiful Cornish coastline.

The cottage is homely, warm and comfortable. The owners, Michael and Juliet, have thought of everything to make your stay relaxing and comfortable including a fully-equipped kitchen, washing machine and beautifully decorated master bedroom.

The cottage is perfectly located: only a stone's throw from Fore Street and yet quiet and peaceful. I am already planning my return to Number Six in 2017!
