Villa in Oasis de Capistrano, Nerja, Costa del Sol, Spain - Semi- Detached Villa With Large Garden Terrace And Panoramic Roof Terrace Set In Tropical Gardens.

Villa 'Casa Abuela' is situated in the exotic tropical gardens of Capistrano Oasis which has 2 swimming pools, a children's pool and a season bar/restaurant on site as well as beautiful carp ponds which are fed by springs from the nearby mountains. With its large terrace, separate dining terrace and roof terrace there is as much room outside as inside and sun all day. The wonderful views of the sea, mountains and countryside are best appreciated from the roof terrace with its panoramic views. The villa is beautifully furnished and fully equipped as a 'home from home' and the terraces have ample garden furniture, sunbeds sun umbrellas and barbecue. The terrace walls are covered with lush tropical plants and flowers and the villa is easily accessed by a few steps from the private road, with parking right outside. Burriana beach is 5 minutes by car or can be reached in a few minutes walk or by a cliff top path past the ancient aqueduct, through the surrounding countryside. There are supermarkets nearby and the local bus stops at the entrance to the complex. PLEASE NOTE: Free Wifi and full Air Conditioning (cooling/heating) are INCLUDED in the our rental price. In addition, you will find a "Welcome" bottle of Cava in the fridge. A security safe is provided for your use.

Normally rentals are from Saturdays to Saturdays but in winter months booking dates can sometimes be flexible - just ask!

About the Owner

We are a professional couple who live in the UK. We have been visiting Nerja for many years and after holidaying in Oasis de Capistrano we purchased Casa Abuela. We love the tranquil location, and Nerja is so beautiful, unspoilt and friendly.

The villa has been updated so it provides a total 'home from home' as we come here often and believe that a holiday home should be just as comfortable and well-equipped as your own home.

Lots of people have enjoyed stopping at Casa Abuela over the years with many guests returning on a regular basis. We do hope that you will enjoy our holiday home as much as we do.

Location

From the Owner

Having spent time in Nerja we found it to be very tranquil. In by-gone days it was a small fishing village and any new building has been restricted for many years to a maximum of four stories high, consequently it has retained its character whilst being a vibrant, up-market and year round location. Like us, everyone who comes here loves it and returns again and again. We chose Capistrano Oasis because it is just that - an oasis of lush beauty, with hundreds of different species of exotic tropical plants and flowers, palms and fruit trees. There are two large swimming pools along with a separate children's pool and a great seasonal bar/snacks on site as well as fabulous fishponds fed from the waters of the Sierra Nevada and teeming with carp. Although Oasis is separate from the bustle of the town, everything is easily accessible within a short walk.

Activity and Interests

Nearest Airport : Malaga at 50 Kilometres Car: not necessary

Coast/Beach:

There are many beaches in and around Nerja. Burriana beach with its many bar-cafes, restaurants and shops is about 15 mins walk by road or via the cliff-top path beside an ancient aqueduct or 5 minutes by car.

Travel:

Malaga airport is 45 minutes drive away. Cars can be hired at the airport or on-line. Taxis can be ordered online and cost about 68 Euros each way. There is a cheap and efficient bus service to take you to within a few hundred yards of Oasis. Take the airport bus to Malaga Bus Station then a bus to 'Nerja Cuevas'.

Car hire is useful, especially if you want to explore the area but not essential. Please ask for details of taxis or car rental.

Distances:

Take a pleasant walk of 20 minutes to the next village of Maro with its famous Caves. The white village of Frigiliana is 20 minutes by car or bus. For sight-seeing, Granada is a 1hr 15 min. drive, Cordoba 2hr 15 min. and Seville 2hr 30 mins. There is a Water Park 20 minutes away in Torre del Mar and a nearby indoor shopping mall for any rainy days. Tuesday is market day in Nerja and there is a huge 'flea market' on Sunday mornings.

Further Details:

Nerja Tennis and Paddle tennis club is a short walk away as is the Municipal indoor swimming pool and football ground. There are many activities on Burriana Beach including play areas, volleyball and diving. Horse riding and guided mountain walks or safaris can be booked in town. Get a guide and advice at the Tourist Office near the Balcony.

Nerja has a vast number of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops for all tastes as well as wonderful 'tapas' which are often free with a drink.

Booking Notes:
We ask for a non refundable deposit of 25% with the balance payable 6 weeks before your holiday. We will then send confirmation when the deposit has been received along with any further information. Payments may be made by internet bank transfer in Sterling or Euros.

Rentals are normally from Saturdays but can sometimes be flexible in winter months by arrangement.

We do not charge any damage deposit as we have always found our renters to be honest and reliable people. We only charge a refundable £20 deposit for the keys to the villa.

Changeover Day:
In busy months the changeover day is Saturday but out of peak season we are happy to fit in with your requirements, dependent on other bookings.

We ask you to arrive after 3pm and leave by 10.30am to give our cleaner time to service the villa.

Welcome Packs:
A welcome pack can be provided at an extra cost. Please ask us at the time of enquiry for further details.

Notes on prices:

Our villa has the added benefit of a superb roof terrace offering sea and mountain views. The large terraces, including dining terrace and roof terrace are furnished with plants, sunbeds, sunshades, dining furniture and BBQ. The property is south facing and benefits from all day sun. Some of our favourite times have been spent in the early evening sitting on the roof terrace, gin and tonic in hand watching the sun's rays reflect on the Mediterranean. Whilst behind us the grandeur of the Sierra de Tejeda mountains mirror the warmth of its colours as it sets. Or alternatively, in the morning you can enjoy a glass of chilled orange juice and a couple of paracetamol ! watching the sun rise in the east over the Roman Aqueduct. There is parking directly outside on the private road giving easy access to the property.
